Chapter 1016: At the Dark Sphere

The Dark Sphere was inexorably absorbing the energy coming from the four spatial funnels, showing no signs of growth, as if it was bottomless and insatiable.

After Idan and the others left, taking with them a small part of the Platinum-ranked beasts, there were many observers near the Dark Sphere.

The main forces remained in place, while small groups of beings from other worlds went to contact their own and report on what was happening.

Among the Creatures of Light was Irina, who, no matter how much she wanted to share the news with her faction, understood that the Domain of Saints would not allow her to do so. So she decided to just watch the events unfold.

She was standing with other groups of creatures of Light who did not belong to the Domain of Saints, who, like her, found themselves in a similar situation.

As a Diamond-ranked Creature of Light, she felt the strong fluctuation and attraction of the element of Light from this sphere. In all the previously appeared Anomalies, there was neither the element of Light, nor Darkness, nor the seeds of law.

This new attraction gave her a little hope that it was here that the Seeds of the Law of Light were located or would soon appear.

Not only she thought so, but so did many, including Serafina and all the Creatures of Darkness.

Attempts to approach the Sphere or stop the takeover were unsuccessful.

The sphere wouldn’t let anyone near it, pushing them away with an invisible force, and the streams of energy ignored all attempts to stop them.

All that remained was to observe the process.

Although everyone understood that the Sphere could be dangerous, no one wanted to go far.

The temptation to discover that something unique and valuable would appear there overcame fear.

Soon after, more and more beings of Light and Darkness began to appear.

When their numbers became sufficient, they finally paid attention to the gathered beasts. They were especially interested in those of them who were able to obtain the seed of the law, but did not follow Idan.

Although the beasts had outnumbered everyone before, now this advantage was not so obvious, especially considering that there was no such suppression here as in the heart of the Anomaly.

“Will you give the seeds in a good way, or will we have to use force?” asked one of the creatures of Darkness who came from the Territory of the Dark Beasts, baring his sharp teeth.

Almost all the creatures from other worlds looked down on the local beasts, and those, sensing this, were enraged.

The situation was becoming more and more tense.

Others joined the creatures of Darkness, putting pressure on the beasts. The beasts that held the seed of law within them, still hesitating to digest it, were not as numerous. Most of them followed Idan and his group.

Now, the remaining beasts began to regret not leaving with them.

Some of the beasts that did not have the seed of the law, despite their envy, opposed creatures from other worlds, while others, unwilling to participate in the conflict, retreated. As a result, the beasts that opposed the creatures from other worlds were in the minority.

The result became clear.

As if in concert, the creatures of Darkness, Light, Water, and Sky attacked the beasts at the same time. They overpowered them in a matter of seconds.

As a result, all the seeds of the law were seized, and the beasts that tried to resist were mercilessly slaughtered.

Each of the parties, represented by creatures from other worlds, was able to receive a portion of the seeds of the law.

Irina’s group and the other creatures of light did not attempt this, realizing that the Domain of the Saints would still be taken away from them.

The beasts silently accepted such insolence and disrespect, and their eyes burned with the fire of hatred.

Soon, numerous groups of creatures from different worlds began to appear: Sky, Water, Earth, and Fire.

Each group was led by several Diamond-ranked creatures, and they all had humanoid forms. However, the local beasts could sense that they were all from different races, and even there were beasts of different elements among them.

The appearance of representatives of the Earth surprised the Beings of Light and Darkness, because none of them participated in the expedition to the Fire Anomaly.

As for the Fire Creatures, they were the last to arrive.

The first thing they did when they came here was to look for their people.

However, unfortunately, thanks to Idan, they did not find anyone, as everyone was killed in the very heart of the Anomaly.

When the creatures of Fire found out about the fate of their people and who was responsible for this tragedy, they were seized with fiery rage.

“We must take revenge!” sounded from all sides.

“This is humiliation!”

“It’s unforgivable!”

Indignation and calls for revenge came from the mouths of the Fire creatures one after another.

As a result, a group led by three Diamond-ranked creatures and several Platinum-ranked creatures separated from the main group. They left the others and headed away.

Seeing this and understanding what was happening, small groups began to leave the groups of beings from other worlds.

“You can go,” Serafina gave permission, having heard the call of one of the Guardians of Light to join them.

Taking her subordinates, the Guardian of Light followed the others, and Serafina silently watched her go, as if saying goodbye. Although instead of regret, a slight smile flashed across her face, which quickly disappeared.

When reinforcements arrived, she learned that a new wave of beasts was approaching the Dark Sphere. The Kingdom’s Guild members, including Idan, were busy defending the cities. Probably, the others thought that at this time the Kingdom was left without protection, and wanted to take advantage of this to finally destroy them.

However, Serafina knew that the Kingdom was not so easy to destroy. She understood that the Kingdom had deeper waters than everyone thought.

As she watched them go, on the one hand, she wanted to join them, not to attack the Kingdom, but to see how all these fools would fall.
