"Let’s go inside," Ye Fan said.
Just as they were about to step in, the Yan Clan Patriarch extended an arm to block Ye Fan. "Only the Holy Daughter may enter. No one else—not even her closest companion—is permitted. This is the rule of the Yan Clan. I hope you can accept it."
Ye Fan was very displeased. To put it bluntly, this old fellow was deliberately making things difficult for him.
At this, Alice asked, "Grandpa Yan, who set these rules?"
