Chapter 887: Slaying the Wind Wolves

Jeremy Night saw that the Beast Tamers had dealt with the corrupted beasts. They were not in danger right now. He turned toward the site ahead.
There were corrupted beasts attacking the Beast Tamers. Their numbers were larger.
He gripped the blade tightly and stepped onto the battlefield. He used his second eye power to observe the surroundings.
He located the corrupted beasts in the barren area, and he found the wolves not far away from him.
Currently, the beasts are alone. They were looking for targets. Their strength was Tier-5. It was a good target for him.
Jeremy moved toward the wolves. There was a group of five wolves. His arrival drew their attention. Their massive frames were above 5 meters.
He simply coated the blade with another layer of starlight power. A starlight thread was added to the blade.
Jeremy pointed the tip of the blade downward. He was ready to strike. He knew that the beasts would underestimate him for sure.
On the other hand, the wolves looked at him. The two Tier-5 wolves charged at him right away. Seeing that, his gaze locked onto the beasts.
He had practiced precision strikes countless times. His blade skill had long since entered the intermediate stage.
So, he was not going to use blade one method to deal with Tier-5 and Tier-6 beasts.

The terrifying wolves with a monstrous coercion reached near. He didn’t move from the spot.
At the same time, the Beast Tamers who were fighting nearby noticed a Beast Tamer facing the two Tier-5 wolves alone.
They thought of helping him out, but they themselves were occupied. But when they saw his strength, they were dumbfounded.

The rest of them recovered from the shock and faced the corrupted beasts attacking them. They couldn’t afford to lose concentration.

Jeremy Night made a preemptive move. He shifted his body weight when one of the wolves leaped at him.

Seeing that wolf in mid-air, Jeremy drew his blade to attack.

He swung the blade sideways. The blade touched the side of the body and went inside. The strong resistance was broken by the starlight power.
Like butter, the blade moved smoothly before coming out from the other side.

Blood flowed out from the wounds and landed on the ground.

Jeremy Night didn’t stop there. He charged at the second wolf standing before him.
The second wolf was vigilant.

He felt a special power flowing around the second wolf. He immediately figured it out. It was an elemental ability aiding the beast right now.

The next second, the second wolf moved. It disappeared from the spot.
Jeremy Night felt a sense of crisis. He immediately brought the blade toward his chest.
The flat side was facing forward.

A massive claw struck him all of a sudden. He was caught off guard. His body rocketed backward.
Jeremy Night felt bad. He felt the searing pain all over his body again. He then crashed into the ground.
Dust and smoke rose from the ground.
On the other hand, the Beast Tamers were speechless. They didn’t know what they were witnessing.
A Tier-3 Beast Tamer injured one Tier-5 Wind Wolf and was attacked by the second one. This simple fight scene was enough to tell them everything.
The Tier-3 Beast Tamer had the strength to fight across Tiers.
"Damn it," Jeremy cursed under his breath.
He knew the Tier-5 beasts could have abilities, yet he had made a mistake. With his current strength, it was best to exploit the weaknesses of beasts above his tier.
It would bring him success. He then crawled out of the pit. He saw the wind wolves were blocked by the Beast Tamers.
The seniors were helping him out. Seeing that, Jeremy Night was stunned, because it was a rare sight. He circulated the inner healing force in his body.
He tried to walk. Fortunately, he was able to withstand the impact force, thanks to the lifeline beast again.
His inner organs were covered by a protective layer.

Jeremy Night then collected his thoughts and rushed to help them.
"What?"
"Look at him. He can move."
"He survived the attack of the Tier-5 beast."
Others commented on him.
"Senior, leave it to me," Jeremy said to them before confronting the beast again.
"Explosive Steps!"
He used a foot method. He exploded with great speed. The second wolf was surprised. It didn’t expect the prey to walk out alive.
It once again used its wind elemental ability. But before it could fully use the power, Jeremy Night reached the beast.
Stab!
He simply stabbed the beast in the neck. The next second, the starlight blade penetrated before coming into contact with blood vessels.
The blood vessels were severed instantly.

He then decisively withdrew the blade and moved backward. All of this was done smoothly. The Tier-5 seniors were dumbfounded again.
It was because they had mostly seen lifeline beasts killing the corrupted beasts. Rarely did the Beast Tamers fight directly.
Here, only the veterans took the risk to attack the corrupted beasts directly. The rest of them were commanding their lifeline beasts.
The second wolf was dead this time. The flow of blood vessels to the brain was stopped. It dropped dead on the ground.
