Chapter 886: Part 2: Fighting in the Special Base
Special Base
When the Tier-6 Beast Bird got closer to the building, he immediately darted towards the corpse of Roden.
Roden Beast had bled to death, but the huge body was enough for him to hide behind.
Not only that, but the blood smell coming from the beast would cover his aura.
Like he had expected, the Tier-6 Beast Bird destroyed the building using its claws. The debris spread across the place.
The Tier-6 Beast Bird didn’t find anything and flew away from the place. Jeremy Night sighed in relief. He was running his inner healing method.
While doing that, he turned towards the battlefield. The beast tamers were maintaining the balance with the help of their lifeline beasts.
He couldn’t tell which side was winning. From a corner, he saw a group of three Beast Tamers were getting overwhelmed.
They were Tier-5 Beast Tamers. They were fighting against three Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts and one Tier-6 Snake beast.
Seeing that, his eyes flickered because he saw their condition was not good. They were injured and bleeding.
Jeremy stood up after some struggle. He thought it would be cowardice to continue to hide here. Since the bird beasts were gone, he could move away from the spot.
He slowly moved toward the group with his blade in his hands. The blade’s edge was still covered in starlight power.
Hiss!
When he got closer to the group, the corrupted beasts fighting them got alerted.
The Tier-6 Snake beast hissed at him. He ignored the other beasts; his eyes were on the snake. He used his eye power. He wouldn’t waste time when dealing with a Tier-6 Snake.
On the other hand, the three male Beast Tamers were shocked to see that someone had come to help them out.
But when they saw some unknown young man with mere Tier-3 strength, they were dumbfounded.
From his Tier-3 strength, they understood that the young man was not from their camp.
"Who are you?"
"What are you doing here?" one of them asked.
"Don’t come near us. You will be dead," the second Beast Tamer said.
Roar!
The Tiger Lifeline beast of the second Beast Tamer was hurt. It roared out in searing pain. The next second, the three of them continued the fight.
Their target was the Tier-6 Snake. Their Lifeline beasts were confronting the Tier-5 Corrupted beasts.
Hiss!
The black Tier-6 Snake darted out towards him all of a sudden. The beast’s sudden movement stunned him.
But his gaze never left the beast. His eyes were locked on it.
When the beast got closer to him, he moved sideways before unleashing a blade strike at the beast at the last moment.
Cut!
The blade came into contact with the snake’s scales. The next second, the starlight power acted.
The scales cracked. The blade easily swept inside the flesh of the snake.
Puchak!
Blood spurted from the wound. He immediately drew the blade further to deepen the wound.
Boom!
A coercion released from the beast. The beast was using the last bit of its power. He withdrew the blade before moving backward.
Puchak!
A torrent of blood was gushing forth from the wound. It dyed the ground with blood.
Thud!
The massive beast was enraged. The beast didn’t expect to get injured. The snake’s pupils tried to locate its prey.
The beast sensed the strength of its prey. The Tier-3 strength was too weak for it. Yet, the prey was able to escape from its grasp.
Swoosh!
The next second, the Snake beast charged at its prey. This time, the beast’s speed was doubled. It was moving in a zigzag manner.
Jeremy Night saw that the Snake beast was coming at him. He then led the snake beast back to the destroyed buildings.
He used his second eye power. The beast’s body became transparent. He saw its weak points clearly.
Swoosh!
He went backward to lead the beast further away from the battlefield.
The Snake beast was using the last bit of its strength to burst out with great speed.
Jeremy Night was betting on the deep injury. There was excessive bleeding. If this went on, the beast would lose strength, and it would be the right time to strike.
Boom!
He moved past a destroyed building. The Snake beast charged over the already destroyed buildings.
Pfff!
At the same time, blood was flowing out from the wound.
As time passed, the snake beast charged over other destroyed buildings. It was no fool.
It found out that its prey was slippery. Jeremy Night stopped at one point. He glared at the beast.
He found out that the speed of the beast was reducing. He thought it was the right time to attack.
Swoosh!
The Snake Beast got closer towards him again.
Cut!
He made a cut again. The blade in his hands flashed. The blade went in a wide arc before sweeping across the body.
Puchak!
The starlight power destroyed the scales. The blade once again cut through the flesh, creating more wounds.
The speed of the beast’s body slowed down.
The Tier-6 Beast was shocked to the core. It couldn’t believe it was injured again. This time, the beast couldn’t continue with that speed.
Thud!
The beast’s body landed on the ground.
The shockwave spread across the place. Jeremy Night used his eye power. He saw the Snake Beast had only a lingering breath left.
He could not give a chance to the beast. He appeared in front of it and slashed at the snake beast’s body.
Puchak!
He made multiple blade cuts on the snake’s body. The snake beast suffered severe blade injuries.
Blood continued to leak from the wounds.
The beast’s lingering breath was finally gone.
Seeing that, Jeremy Night sighed in relief. That was close.
He was not worried about the hidden ability of the beast, but he was worried because of the environment.
If the bird beasts attacked all of a sudden, it would be disastrous.
He still needed to be wary of the bird-type beasts in the sky. He then immediately moved away from the place.
Swoosh!
Jeremy Night went to the three Beast Tamers’ side. He wanted to know what was going on there.
