Chapter 1807: Molten Steel T-Rex King

Flame Star-5 was considered one of the more important battlefields in the Golden Rock Worlds.

It was a pyro-attribute plane, and in terms of territorial scale and carrying capacity, it was not much different from an ordinary medium-sized plane—except that it lacked a planar barrier.

Around this battlefield alone, the Magus Civilization and the Gallant Federation had committed nearly thirty law-wielding combatants, along with several Rank Six forces.

By the time Sein arrived with his legions, the newly advanced Rank Six mechanic, Welks, had already thrown himself into the frontlines.

This was not Sein’s first time seeing Master Welks.

On the battlefield, Welks did not wield a magic staff. Instead, countless floating mechanical eyes orbited around him. These specialized magic artifacts served as his weapons.

With a wave of his hand, hundreds of thousands of orange elemental beams burst from the mechanical eyes surrounding him.

These eyes could either spread their fire across a wide area or concentrate it into devastating focused strikes.

In terms of sheer destructive force and battlefield impact, they surpassed the spells cast by ordinary spellcasters of the same rank.

Judging them individually, Sein did not think those mechanical eyes had reached the level of a world-class secret treasure.

As an alchemist and part-time mechanic, he was certainly qualified to make that judgment.

But when all of them were used together, the combined power of those mechanical eyes unquestionably reached the level of a world-class secret treasure!

“This combat style...” As Sein watched Master Welks fighting on the battlefield, he could not help but think of his own Magic Cube.

Welks’ way of fighting gave Sein plenty to study and learn from.

The Magic Cube itself could gather together or split apart into countless smaller units. During their journey through the subspace secret realm, it had also absorbed a large amount of origin law energy from offensive world-class technological secret treasures, which greatly enhanced its combat potential.

Even now, Sein had not fully tapped into the Magic Cube’s potential in battle.

Most of the time, he still used it mainly for its functional utility. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Perhaps I really should learn something from Master Welks. As the apprentice of a soul-level mage, his skill in mechanical arts far surpasses mine as a pyromancer, Sein thought.

But Master Welks was not the only one shining brilliantly on the battlefield of Flame Star-5.

Another presence was drawing just as much attention—Welks’ mechanically enhanced beast, the Molten Steel T-Rex King!

Unlike the last time Sein had seen it, this gigantic draconic beast was no longer covered in nothing but a layer of metallic scales.

The Molten Steel T-Rex King before them bore unmistakable signs of technological modification across its entire body.

Its shoulders and arms, for example, were fitted with an array of magic cannons.

These cannons looked as though they had been welded directly onto the Molten Steel T-Rex King’s skin.

With the dual law power granted by the Faceless Mask and the Magic Cube, Sein could tell that both the material and the energy source of those cannons seemed to come from a layer of liquid metal flowing beneath the creature’s skin.

The sharp horns on the Molten Steel T-Rex King’s head also emitted energy fluctuations that clearly revealed signs of both alchemical and mechanical modification!

There was even a massive red crystal embedded in its chest, an external bio-energy core capable of unleashing specialized energy attacks.

However, the transformation still seemed “incomplete”, as the Molten Steel T-Rex King had yet to draw out the power contained within that crystal.

Was this thing still a flesh-and-blood being? A metal construct? Or some kind of mechanical creature?

After being modified by Master Welks, the Molten Steel T-Rex King now possessed combat strength at the peak of Rank Five.

The opponent standing before it was a federal giant mobile suit with power comparable to a Rank Six being.

Although it was at a disadvantage in direct combat, the Molten Steel T-Rex King could continuously strengthen itself by devouring metal.

That alone made its performance on the battlefield remarkably eye-catching.

Taking on enemies several ranks above oneself was no easy feat, especially when the battle involved high-ranking beings like Rank Five and Rank Six.

As it fought, the Molten Steel T-Rex King tore through metal with its teeth, chewing as it clashed head-on with the giant mobile suit in savage close combat.

The entire battlefield looked like a collision between two colossal monsters.

The brutal metallic shock of every blow, the sheer force of each impact, was not something one could normally witness on an ordinary planar battlefield.

Now that he had arrived at this starfield battlefield, Sein naturally could not just stand by and watch.

With multiple Rank Six beings already involved in the battle, he held nothing back and directly unleashed Fermera along with her entire angel legion.

The appearance of nearly a million angels instantly became one of the most striking sights on the battlefield of Flame Star-5.

Even Welks turned to look at Sein, though what drew most of his attention was clearly Fermera, who stood at the forefront of that million-strong angel legion.

Sein raised his magic rod and pointed it forward.

Led by Fermera, the angel legion surged ahead and charged straight toward the Gallant Federation’s frontlines.

Fermera was the first to charge, and her target was none other than the federal giant mobile suit locked in battle with the Molten Steel T-Rex King.

Sein gradually unleashed his Ashen Demon form and soared toward the frontlines of the battlefield.

Behind him, the space fortress and the Magus Civilization legions also plunged into the fight.

The arrival of Sein and his forces effectively brought a fresh wave of reinforcements to the battlefield.

Before long, Welks shifted his attention toward Sein.

In truth, the two of them had quite a bit in common.

Welks possessed Rank Six strength and commanded the peak Rank Five Molten Steel T-Rex King.

Sein, meanwhile, was a Rank Five powerhouse who commanded an intelligent angel robot with Rank Six combat power.

Truly gifted people often developed both admiration for one another and a subtle sense of rivalry.

As Sein flew toward the center of the battlefield, Welks smiled and gave him a nod.

The situation on Flame Star-5 changed dramatically after Sein’s forces arrived.

Besides Fermera and Welks, another Rank Six combatant was also present on this demiplane battlefield—the Fire Spirit from the Magus Alliance.[1]

This Rank Six pyro elemental lifeform was perfectly attuned to the environment of this stellar battlefield.

Yet in terms of sheer presence and oppressive aura, it was noticeably inferior to the others.

Even standing beside the Molten Steel T-Rex King, it looked especially small.

Still, when it came to actual combat, the Fire Spirit played a role that could not be ignored.

The moment it appeared at the center of the planar battlefield with both fists clenched, the whole of Flame Star-5 erupted with a violent surge of pyro elemental energy.

Amidst that sea of flame, Sein felt an unprecedented sense of exhilaration and clarity.

This pyro-attribute plane truly was the battlefield best suited for him.

With Fermera’s support, Sein began stepping into this fierce battle between Rank Six beings.

His previous battle against the Rank Six creature from Grand Apocalypse World had already given him invaluable experience.

The greatest difference between Rank Five and Rank Six beings seemed to be that Rank Six entities had elevated their core laws into a “domain”.

This was the realization Sein came to in the midst of battle.

1. Translator’s Recap: Fire Spirit was first introduced in Chapter 1663. It was a newly ascended Rank Six pyro elemental creature that hailed from the Violet Ember World and held a deep desire to restore its homeworld to its former glory. ☜
