Carter Hill, however, felt relief wash over him. Prison was preferable to death.
"Thank you, Mr. Sean, for showing mercy..." Carter Hill dropped to his knees, bowing frantically.
"Carter Hill," Soren Sean called out coldly.
Carter immediately raised his head toward Soren Sean.
"I’m offering you a chance now," Soren Sean stated coolly.
"If you confess to the kidnapping, I can spare your son." Soren Sean gestured toward Xavier Hill.
Upon hearing this, Carter Hill rapidly shook his head, saying, "Mr. Sean, I truly don’t grasp what you mean..."
After speaking, Carter quickly signaled to Xavier Hill.
Sadly, Xavier Hill not only disregarded Carter Hill, but rushed to Soren Sean, frantically declaring, "Yes, my father did this! I had no involvement!"
Hearing Xavier Hill’s statement, Carter froze completely.
"What... what garbage are you spouting!" Carter Hill yelled furiously.
