Chapter 841: Chapter 841 The Saints Arrive
A wicked smile and freezing stare covered Saumel Baton’s face, completely different from his polite act from before.
"Just what I thought." My eyes got a bit thinner.
Exactly like I figured, Claude Avalynn was definitely Saumel Baton’s guest.
"Mason Raymond, this Mystic Realm’s exit is shut tight now. Sit here and die!" Saumel Baton laughed hard.
I answered coldly, "Saumel Baton, when I reach the Martial Saint level, that’s when your Baton Family gets wiped out."
"Ha, you won’t get the chance." Saumel Baton dropped those words and left.
Pearson Bowman came up to me, "Mr. Raymond, better not to mess with Saumel Baton here. If you have to, say sorry to him, give him whatever he wants, and get out first."
I bowed a little to Pearson, saying, "Thanks."
After that, I found a spot in the square and sat down.
I pulled out my ready treasures and a sign from my Spatial Magic Artifact.
The sign had some words on it: "All items traded for Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials."
Then, I closed my eyes a bit.
In front of me were Divine Rank Techniques, Divine Rank Pill Formulas, every one of them top quality.
I sat there quietly, waiting for the Exchange Meeting to start.
This was the Exchange Meeting’s first time, so while not many people came, the quality was really high.
These people were big shots from famous families, naturally having tons of treasures.
I let out my divine sense, covering the area around me.
Soon, I found several medicinal herbs.
These herbs were all top-level, and at least three were Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials.
If I could grab these three Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials, I could go straight into seclusion.
Of course, this was impossible - I’d be lucky to get one.
Time went fast, and the Exchange Meeting began soon.
People walking by my booth would always lean down for a better look.
"God Buddha’s thousand hands? This is a high-grade Divine Rank Technique, can I trade it with my magical artifact?" Someone came up and asked.
I shook my head, pointed to the sign, and said, "I only want Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials, sorry."
"Too bad." The other guy shook his head with some disappointment and walked off.
"Divine Prescription? Divine Rank Pill Formula? Friend, I have an eight thousand year old herb. Can I maybe trade it with you?" Another person asked.
I still shook my head and said, "Sorry, I only want Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials."
The person left looking disappointed.
Tons of people came and went, but sadly, none of them had the Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials.
In no time, three whole hours went by.
It was getting close to noon and I still hadn’t gotten anything.
But I wasn’t getting worried - after all, getting Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials isn’t easy.
"Mason Raymond, why are you so hung up on Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials?" Right then, Zora Solomon walked over from nearby and sat next to me.
"Ten thousand year medicinal herbs are the most valuable. For our training, most of us pick the five-thousand-year-old medicinal herbs, which gives the best bang for your buck."
I looked at Zora, casually said, "Maybe I’m stubborn and have OCD."
That obviously wasn’t what I really thought. The reason I didn’t pick the five thousand year old herbs was that they were basically useless to me.
My only choice right now was herbs over ten thousand years old.
The time flew from morning to afternoon, but sadly, there was still no sign of the Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials.
"Wow, even the Cosmic Form is up for grabs?" Right then, someone walked up.
Looking up, the guy talking was an old man.
Though he looked calm, he couldn’t hide his weird strength.
"You know the Cosmic Form?" I asked.
The old man squinted, "The Cosmic Form isn’t just some simple Divine Rank Technique, as far as I know, it’s a technique Guardians once used. Where’d you get it?"
"That’s none of your business," I said and closed my eyes again.
The old man laughed, "Do you know that having the Cosmic Form might bring you trouble?"
I glanced at the old man, and said flatly, "If I dare to bring it out, I’m not scared of being hunted."
"Big words," a bit of surprise showed on the old man’s face.
I stopped talking to him, and closed my eyes again.
This Exchange Meeting went on for three full days, so I wasn’t rushing.
If I really couldn’t get the Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials, I could only give up.
The sky slowly got dark, and fewer and fewer people were at the Exchange Meeting.
I sighed quietly.
Looks like getting the Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials today might not happen.
Just as I was about to pack up my booth and leave, a chance came up.
A girl walked over from not far away - she was dressed elegantly and drop-dead gorgeous.
She walked straight to me and stared at my sign, whispering, "Only want Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials..."
Then she looked at me and said, "Can Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials be traded for everything on your booth?"
I opened my eyes, and said, "If you have it, yes."
The girl stared at the stuff on the booth, talking to herself, "There’s a lot of things in this booth, a Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Material shouldn’t cost me anything..."
Thinking this, she actually pulled out a Panax ginseng from her Spatial Magic Artifact and held it out to me.
"I want all these things!" the girl said excitedly.
I looked carefully, and sure enough, what she was holding was a Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Material!
"Okay, everything’s yours." I quickly reached out, planning to take the ginseng.
But right then, a hand shot out and slapped my wrist away.
Looking up, an old man was staring coldly at me.
I frowned and coldly asked, "What’s your deal?"
"No deal, I just don’t like seeing you trick people. So what?" the old man replied with a cold laugh.
Before he finished talking, Saumel Baton walked over from far away.
"Young Master Baton." Seeing Saumel Baton, the old man immediately bowed slightly.
My face got dark and I asked, "Saumel Baton, is he your guy?"
Saumel Baton sneered, "Mason Raymond, I just let you live one more day, how are you planning to thank me?"
As he talked, another old man showed up beside him.
The two old men stood in front of me, giving off a scary aura.
"Martial Saints?!" My face couldn’t help but change.
Even though both guys were hiding their power, the crushing pressure was enough for me to quickly figure out their level!
