Chapter 830: Chapter 830 Hope Crashing Down
"No wonder he’s a Half-step Martial Sage, look at the size of that thing." I licked my lips, greed written all over my face.
My expression must have looked like pure evil to the dying Cooper Hill.
"Mason..." Cooper’s mouth opened, despair flooding his features.
I stared coldly at Cooper Hill. "Don’t worry, I’ll wipe out the entire Michelle Sect eventually."
After saying this, I raised my palm and struck Cooper Hill dead.
Once Cooper Hill was finished, I pocketed the golden core.
Blood suddenly spilled from my mouth.
Clearly, I’d taken some damage during our fight.
I wiped the blood from my lips, then after thinking it over, I stored Cooper Hill’s body away.
Back at the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, I headed straight for the Pavilion Master Building.
This time, the Pavilion Master oddly didn’t scold me.
"What happened to you?" The Pavilion Master’s eyebrows creased when he saw my condition.
I shook my head. "Cooper Hill from the Michelle Sect."
"Cooper Hill?"
The Pavilion Master’s face shifted when he heard that name.
"Yeah, I already killed him." I tossed Cooper Hill’s corpse onto the floor.
The Pavilion Master looked even more shocked, but quickly composed himself.
"Never thought the famous Cooper Hill would die by some kid’s hand." The Pavilion Master shook his head.
I didn’t keep talking about that. Instead I asked, "Lord Pavilion Master, how’s Mabel doing?"
"Don’t worry, she’s fine. All her vital signs are stable." The Pavilion Master said.
"Where is she? I need to see her." I said.
The Pavilion Master nodded slightly. "Follow me."
I followed the Pavilion Master all the way to the Secret Chamber.
Inside this Secret Chamber, Mabel Sean was still soaking in the medicinal bath.
The thick herbal scent mixed with Mabel’s natural fragrance created this unique smell.
I walked over to Mabel’s side, knelt by the medicine pool, and said gently, "Get some good rest and sleep well. You’ve earned it."
After saying that, I stood up and looked at the Pavilion Master, bowing slightly. "Lord Pavilion Master, I’m going to need your help for a while, but it shouldn’t be too long."
The Pavilion Master looked surprised. "What do you mean?"
I said seriously, "Word about Mabel being here will get out eventually, and people will definitely come once they find out."
The Pavilion Master didn’t argue with that.
"I know you’re strong, but even the best fighter can’t take on everyone. Nobody knows what kind of forces those people will bring." I continued.
"So?" The Pavilion Master looked puzzled.
My eyes narrowed as I said, "I’m planning to find a Mystic Realm and hide Mabel there temporarily."
"Mystic Realm?" This caught the Pavilion Master off guard.
Even the powerful Divine Alchemist Pavilion didn’t have a Mystic Realm; finding one wouldn’t be easy.
A cruel smile flashed across my face.
I said coldly, "I know of a Mystic Realm, and it’s in Gyeon City."
If Cooper Hill hadn’t shown up, I would have almost forgotten about the Mystic Realm in Gyeon City.
Since they wouldn’t let this go, I naturally wouldn’t let them off either.
Even though that Mystic Realm didn’t have much qi left, it would make a perfect hiding spot.
"Your girlfriend needs her medicine changed daily, so moving locations might not work." The Pavilion Master frowned.
Hearing this, I started worrying too.
True, I didn’t have time right now to constantly watch over Mabel.
"Let her stay here for now, nobody knows yet." The Pavilion Master said.
I replied seriously, "That’s our only option."
I didn’t rush to leave the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, but went to the dungeon to find Leigh Simpson.
To open the Mystic Realm in Gyeon City, I’d definitely need Leigh’s help.
Once I got to the dungeon, I bent down to look at the beaten-up Leigh Simpson.
"So, have you made up your mind?" I said playfully.
Leigh glanced at me coldly and sneered, "Mason Raymond, you won’t get anything from me, quit dreaming!"
I wasn’t worried. I chuckled and said, "Leigh Simpson, I get it now why you’re being so stubborn. You think the Michelle Sect will definitely come rescue you, right?"
Leigh snorted without saying anything.
I kept going, "You’re right, the Michelle Sect will indeed come save you, and they already have."
When he heard this, Leigh’s eyes lit up.
"The person who came has pretty high rank, actually it’s Cooper Hill, an elder of the Michelle Sect. You must be pretty important to them." I said.
Leigh shot back coldly, "What are you getting at?"
I didn’t answer his question. Instead, I made Cooper Hill’s corpse appear in front of Leigh.
"He did come to save you, but too bad he’s already dead." I said coldly.
Leigh’s expression changed completely!
He grabbed Cooper Hill’s body and looked it over, his face full of despair.
For Leigh, this moment was definitely hope crashing down!
"Cooper Hill is dead, nobody can save you now." I said coldly.
"What you were counting on is gone, but if you’re willing to tell me how to open the Mystic Realm, I might let you live." I said coldly.
But Leigh acted like he didn’t hear anything, holding Cooper Hill’s corpse and staying quiet for a long time.
I wasn’t in any hurry. I looked at Leigh and said, "Leigh Simpson, I’m giving you one more day to think about it. If you’re still being stubborn tomorrow, I’ll send you to join him."
"And let me tell you, if I can kill Cooper Hill, I can kill most of the people in the Michelle Sect."
"I don’t believe you’re the only one who knows how to open the Mystic Realm."
After saying that, I turned around and walked out of the dungeon.
After leaving the dungeon, I planned to spend the day with Mabel.
Right then, my phone rang.
The caller was the man with the mustache.
I answered the call. "How’s it going, is the formation set up?"
The man with the mustache said in a weird voice, "The formation is done, but..."
"But what?" I frowned.
The man with the mustache said seriously, "But the Immortal Slaying Sect has changed, and it’s completely different from what we saw last time."
"Changed? What kind of change?" My brow furrowed.
