Chapter 824: Chapter 824 A Second Impossible Feat
The warm light lit up the whole first floor of the Scripture Pavilion.
Everyone stared with mixed looks on their faces.
"How... How can this be!" Zora Solomon couldn’t stop himself from making fists!
His need to compete wouldn’t let him accept what was happening right now!
Elena Green’s pretty eyes were full of shock too.
Learning a Divine Rank Technique in just four hours was way too crazy!
"Hum!"
As the light pulled back together, my technique learning was done.
I opened my eyes a little, and the first thing I saw was everyone’s stunned faces.
I got up from the floor and frowned, "How much time did I need?"
"Mr. Raymond, you only took four hours and five minutes!" Pearson Bowman said with excitement.
"Learning a Divine Rank Technique in four hours has never happened before."
"We really didn’t give you enough credit just now."
Elena Green smiled, "Mr. Raymond’s gift really makes us all jealous."
But I frowned, "I really needed that much time..."
When they heard this, everyone couldn’t help but roll their eyes.
This kind of showing off was pretty over the top.
But I really did think it took way too long.
My strong urge to kill and messed up mind had made me slower.
If not for that, I could have done it even faster.
I put the Vajra Holy Body Skill back where it belonged.
When everyone praised me, I thanked each of them.
"Hey, didn’t someone say they’d eat crap while doing a headstand before?" I looked at Cedric Barnes.
Cedric Barnes’s face went really ugly right away.
He ground his teeth and said, "You must have learned the Vajra Holy Body Skill ages ago! You were just faking it for us!"
When he said this, everyone seemed to snap back to reality.
Right! What if I had already mastered the Vajra Holy Body Skill before?
Seeing everyone’s faces, I couldn’t help but shake my head.
"If you don’t trust me, I’ll learn another Divine Rank Technique." I said.
I looked at Cedric Barnes and said, "You choose, any technique works."
Cedric Barnes ground his teeth and quickly went to the bookshelf.
He picked a book carefully from the shelf, then tossed it to me.
The book said: God Buddha’s Thousand Hands!
This technique was also a Divine Rank Technique and even tougher to learn than the Vajra Holy Body Skill!
"If you can learn this God Buddha’s Thousand Hands technique, I’ll trust you!" Cedric Barnes said coldly.
I nodded, "Sure, no problem, but... if I learn this God Buddha’s Thousand Hands technique, you won’t just eat one pile of crap, but two."
After saying this, I stopped paying attention to Cedric Barnes.
I took the technique to the side and kept learning.
This time, everyone watched me closely.
They wanted to see if I could learn a Divine Rank Technique in one day!
Time went by minute by minute. Before they knew it, three hours had gone by.
During these three hours, I hadn’t opened my eyes.
The technique had light flowing into my mind.
Soon, four and a half hours had passed, and I still hadn’t opened my eyes.
This made Cedric Barnes feel better. He sneered, "I knew it, there’s no way Mason Raymond could learn a Divine Rank Technique that fast!"
"Looks like he really did learn the Vajra Holy Body Skill a long time ago."
This made everyone feel relieved.
After all, if it was really true that he had learned a Divine Rank Technique in just four hours, the pressure on everyone else would be way too much!
"Everyone says that Mason Raymond has amazing talent and beats everyone his age, but I think he’s just full of hot air!" Cedric Barnes snorted and turned to go.
Right then, golden light came from my body again!
That holy feeling filled the air once more!
Cedric Barnes, who was about to leave, suddenly stopped cold.
His forehead broke out in sweat, and his face looked terrible!
"Hmm."
My voice came from behind him.
I slowly stood up, holding the God Buddha’s Thousand Hands, saying, "I have to say, this technique does seem tougher to learn."
"Mr. Raymond, you’re incredible!" Pearson Bowman gave me a thumbs up.
"He took just ten hours to learn two Divine Rank Techniques. If word gets out, people will be blown away!"
"We young people from noble families are nothing next to Mr. Raymond."
I smiled, "You’re all being too nice, it was just luck."
With that, I handed the God Buddha’s Thousand Hands to Pearson Bowman.
Then, I looked at Cedric Barnes.
"Cedric Barnes, got anything else to say?" I asked calmly.
Cedric Barnes ground his teeth and turned around, saying, "You’re really cruel!"
"That’s it? You still have to eat two piles of crap." I said half-kidding.
Cedric Barnes got mad and embarrassed, "Who knows if you had already learned this God Buddha’s Thousand Hands before!"
"Cedric Barnes, what you’re saying is going too far." Pearson Bowman rolled his eyes.
"You were the one who picked the technique, are you saying Mason Raymond knows every technique?"
"Exactly, if you want to back out of the bet, just say so, don’t make up stories."
Cedric Barnes’s face went bright red, looking totally beaten.
I glanced at him and said, "The Scripture Pavilion is a holy place, so it’s not right for you to eat crap here. We’ll deal with it when we get out."
Cedric Barnes couldn’t help but feel relieved.
If he had to eat crap in front of so many people, the Barnes family’s reputation would be totally ruined!
"As soon as I leave the Scripture Pavilion, I have to find a way to sneak off." Cedric Barnes promised himself secretly.
I didn’t bother with Cedric Barnes anymore.
I looked around and quickly gave up on trying to find the Spirit Binding Technique.
It would be impossible for me alone to find the Spirit Binding Technique quickly.
"Looks like... I still have to attack the Capital City Martial Arts Association." I muttered to myself.
Only then would I be able to get into the Scripture Pavilion whenever I wanted.
Of course, if I could catch Garcia Coleman alive, that would be even better.
If I offered Garcia in trade for the Spirit Binding Technique, Jensen Coleman couldn’t possibly say no.
Without wasting more time, I turned around and left the first floor, going to the fourth floor.
What was written on the fourth floor was the history of martial arts growth.
I wanted to learn about the Masked Woman from Ten Thousand Years Ago.
And also... the historical records about my own father.
I finally got to the fourth floor.
The fourth floor seemed really empty.
In the huge space, there were only eight books on display.
These eight books recorded different time periods.
The thinnest of the books recorded the information of the martial arts world for the past two hundred years.
