Chapter 821: Chapter 821 An Unwelcome New Master
Looking at this, the token was clearly the key to unlock the Scripture Pavilion. It seemed like the token had some kind of special charm attached to it.
I stared at the token in my hand, my eyes narrowing a bit.
"It would be awesome if I could swipe this token," I thought.
Phoebe Billy gripped the token and slowly walked toward the door.
But right then, a hand shot out and grabbed Phoebe’s wrist.
"Who said you could bring people to the Scripture Pavilion?"
A sharp voice cut through the air, reaching everyone’s ears.
They all turned to see a young man with a sneering smile, glaring at Phoebe.
Three old men stood with the young man.
Phoebe’s brow creased slightly as he asked, "Who are you? Who let you come here?"
The young man said coolly, "I’m the son of the Second Secret Realm’s owner, Garcia Coleman!"
"And Ms. Zackary’s successor too!"
Hearing this, everyone there frowned.
I was no different, studying the Garcia Coleman in front of me, my face showing some irritation.
"So it’s Young Master Coleman." Phoebe quickly bowed in greeting.
Garcia Coleman said coldly, "Phoebe, who gave you permission to bring them to the Scripture Pavilion?"
After a pause, Phoebe answered, "The students asked for this, and... right now, I am in charge of the Capital City Martial Arts Association."
Garcia Coleman smirked, "Since I’m here, I’m the one in charge now."
Then he looked at everyone and said casually, "All of you need to leave. Nobody gets into the Scripture Pavilion."
Hearing this, anger flashed across everyone’s faces.
"Young Master Coleman, the Capital City Martial Arts Association already agreed to let us in. Are you backing out now?" someone asked coldly.
Garcia Coleman’s eyes narrowed as he snorted, "Agreed? Who agreed? Phoebe doesn’t speak for the Capital City Martial Arts Association!"
"Young Master Coleman, are you messing with us?" Many of the noble young men spoke with clear annoyance in their voices.
Garcia Coleman could sense the emotion in their words.
He laughed lightly and said calmly, "I know you’re all this generation’s geniuses with amazing talent and big egos."
"But sorry, your so-called skills mean nothing to me!"
"So I suggest you drop that arrogant act!"
Hearing this, the whole place went silent with shock!
As well-dressed young men from Capital City’s top families, they’d never been insulted like this!
Even Ms. Zackary, who they’d dealt with before, had shown them great respect!
I stood to the side, watching the drama unfold.
With my arms folded, I watched the scene with a half-grin.
"These stuck-up rich kids never thought they’d get looked down on too," I sneered internally.
I stepped back two paces and quietly watched them.
Just then, Zora Solomon moved forward and said coldly, "So what if you’re from the Second Secret Realm? I don’t see anything special about you!"
Garcia Coleman stared coldly at Zora and said, "Are you asking to die?"
Zora shouted, "What’s there to be scared of?"
In that moment, Zora’s strong aura exploded out, showing his peak Military Marquis power clearly!
But Garcia Coleman mocked, "With your weak abilities, you dare act tough in front of me?"
"Go die!" Zora yelled and charged forward!
His fist glowing with energy, he threw a direct punch at Garcia Coleman!
But Garcia Coleman didn’t even move, a sneer on his face as he casually blocked the attack.
"Boom!"
When they clashed, a booming sound exploded!
Zora was instantly knocked back, his palms split from the impact!
This made everyone’s faces change!
As one of the strongest among them, besides Alberto Sean, Zora was considered a top fighter!
Yet he looked so pathetic against Garcia Coleman now!
"Is that your best?" Garcia Coleman taunted.
"Looks like the martial world has really gone downhill. When there are no tigers on the mountain, monkeys think they’re kings."
Zora yelled furiously, "Let’s go again!"
"Even if we fought ten more times, you still wouldn’t be my match!" Garcia Coleman shouted coldly!
Then, pressure from Garcia Coleman’s body spread outward!
Feeling the crushing powerful aura coming from him, everyone’s faces changed dramatically!
"Half-step Martial Sage!" someone screamed!
My brows furrowed slightly too.
"So they really did send a Half-step Martial Sage," I said, rubbing my chin.
Seeing everyone’s shocked looks, Garcia Coleman felt quite pleased.
He smiled and said, "Now do you understand the gap between us? If anyone’s not happy about it, feel free to step up and test it yourself."
For a moment, nobody dared to speak.
"Damn you..."
Just as Zora was about to swear, Pearson Bowman beside him stopped him.
"Brother Zora, you can’t beat him. Just hold back," Pearson whispered.
Though Zora didn’t want to, both Pearson and Wayne Ran grabbed his arms tightly and held him back.
"You pathetic worms, get out of here now!" Garcia Coleman ordered coldly.
In the silence, I stepped forward.
"Your dad is Jensen Coleman?" I asked with a sneer.
Garcia Coleman raised an eyebrow and said, "Who are you?"
"My name’s Mason Raymond," I answered without hesitation.
"You’re Mason Raymond?" Garcia Coleman suddenly looked interested.
He looked me up and down and said, "So you’re the one who took Mabel Sean away?"
"Yeah," I replied calmly.
Garcia Coleman, narrowing his eyes, said, "Tsk tsk, Mabel Sean, such a perfect woman, actually likes trash like you... if she’d married me instead, she wouldn’t have had to suffer."
"Are you looking to die?" My face instantly turned ice cold.
Garcia Coleman raised an eyebrow, "What did you say?"
"I said, are you looking to die?" I stepped forward, my terrifying aura bursting out instantly!
Garcia Coleman frowned slightly, snorted, and said, "Mason Raymond, since you managed to get into the Second Secret Realm, you must have some ability. I’ve been wanting to see for myself..."
As Garcia Coleman walked forward, his aura climbed rapidly too.
Both of us moved toward each other, and soon we stood face to face.
As our eyes met, the two auras clashed fiercely.
People around us quickly backed away, their faces showing mixed feelings.
Though they hoped I could beat Garcia Coleman, they also worried about what would happen if I did.
