Chapter 815: Chapter 815 Breaking the Spirit Binding
I took a deep breath and whispered, "As expected."
That power was incredibly strong, and even with my Martial Saint abilities, I was no match for it.
If it had only been a Half-step Martial Sage, maybe I could have fought back.
"Looks like they really can’t leave the Mystic Realm," I said seriously.
Right then, I suddenly remembered the Martial Saint locked up deep in the dungeon.
"They say the Capital City Martial Arts Association is keeping a Martial Saint prisoner. How do they manage to survive in this world?" I asked, confused.
Paul Randall looked at me and said, "Ever consider that the prison might also be a secret realm?"
I was stunned and suddenly got it.
Yeah, the depths of that prison could very well be a Mystic Realm!
That Martial Saint was also trapped inside the Mystic Realm!
"I get it now," I said seriously.
Right then, something occurred to me and I immediately turned to the Pavilion Master, asking, "Where are the two people I brought back?"
The Pavilion Master answered, "They’re locked up in the dungeon."
"Take me to them right now. I need to see them," I said urgently.
After that, several of us headed to the dungeon together.
When the dungeon door opened, I saw Leigh Simpson, along with the girl I had rescued from the Second Secret Realm, both locked up below.
I frowned, grabbed the girl’s hand, and pulled her out of the dungeon.
"I won’t harm you. I just need to ask you some questions," I told the tearful girl.
The girl quickly nodded, her large eyes brimming with tears.
"Lord Pavilion Master, can you find somewhere for her to stay?" I asked.
The Pavilion Master nodded slightly, looked at the girl, and said, "Come with me."
Now my attention turned to Leigh Simpson.
"You should know why I’m here," I asked coldly.
Leigh Simpson looked up at me and snorted, "How would I know?"
"If you don’t know, let me explain," I said coldly.
"Tell me how to open the Secret Realm, and I might let you live."
Hearing this, Leigh couldn’t help but laugh, "Mason Raymond, don’t think I’m stupid. Even if I tell you, you’ll still kill me!"
My brows furrowed.
Like Leigh said, with my current mindset, I wouldn’t spare him.
But for Mabel Sean’s sake, I still took a deep breath and said, "I promise, as long as you tell me, I’ll let you live."
"You’re dreaming! Very few people in this world can open the Mystic Realm! As long as I keep quiet, at least I can stay alive!" Leigh sneered.
"Think I’m an idiot? If I tell you, it means I’m worthless! Then I’ll definitely die!"
I chuckled coldly, "You know quite a bit, but I’m telling you I always keep my word. As long as you tell me, I promise I’ll spare you."
"Ha, I’m not some three-year-old kid," Leigh Simpson turned away.
I said coldly, "Then I’ll have to kill you."
After saying this, my palm began to glow as I walked toward Leigh step by step.
Right now, even though Leigh was scared, he still closed his eyes, gritted his teeth and stayed silent.
The glow reached his face but eventually faded away slowly.
"You’re really stubborn," I said coldly.
"But I’ve got plenty of time, and there’ll come a day when you talk."
After saying this, I left the dungeon.
For now, I had no time to waste on Leigh Simpson and needed to find Ms. Zackary as soon as possible to figure out how to break the Spirit binding technique.
I didn’t sleep at all that night.
The sky turned pale white.
Man with the mustache yawned and walked out of his room.
"Tsk tsk, didn’t get a wink of sleep." The man with the mustache muttered.
Seeing him, I stood up and said, "Use these next few days to build me a teleportation formation."
"Teleportation formation?" The man with the mustache frowned, "Where to?"
"Immortal Slaying Sect," I said seriously.
"The Capital City Martial Arts Association hasn’t moved against me yet, not because they want to let me go, but because they’re waiting for my Martial Saint power to fade."
"So, I need to find a place to hide."
The man with the mustache scratched his head and said, "Alright then."
I patted his shoulder and said, "Thanks, when I become invincible someday, I’ll make you a crown prince."
I turned around and left after saying that.
——
Capital City.
Ms. Zackary’s face was full of grief and pain.
She stood in front of Leticia’s room, tears involuntarily appearing on her face.
At this moment, the door was pushed open, and Leticia came out.
"Ms. Zackary, why are you here?" Leticia rubbed his eyes and said.
Ms. Zackary wiped her tears and smiled, "Nothing, just wanted to check on you."
"Ms. Zackary, what’s wrong?" Leticia asked with some confusion.
Ms. Zackary smiled and said, "I’m okay."
Leticia invited Ms. Zackary into the room and poured her a glass of water.
"Ms. Zackary, if something’s bothering you, you have to tell me." Leticia’s brows furrowed, his face full of concern.
Ms. Zackary waved her hand.
At this point, she suddenly looked up and trembled, "Leticia, can you call me mom?"
Leticia was stunned, then immediately knelt in front of Ms. Zackary and shouted, "Mom!"
Tears instantly streamed down Ms. Zackary’s face.
Her shaking hands stroked Leticia’s head, smiling, "Good son...Good son...No matter what happens, I won’t let you die."
She finished speaking and pulled out a bank card from her chest and handed it to Leticia.
"Leticia, take this bank card and leave Capital City, leave Pyro, the farther away, the better!" Ms. Zackary touched his head, her voice full of reluctance.
Leticia’s eyebrows furrowed even more.
He looked at Ms. Zackary suspiciously, "Mom, what’s happening? Can you tell me?"
Ms. Zackary weakly waved her hand, sighing, "It’s all my fault. I should never have gotten you involved in this, much less made any bets with that Mason Raymond..."
"No, it was my choice," Leticia said anxiously.
"Mom, tell me what’s going on, okay? I’ll face it with you."
"It must be the higher-ups of the Capital City Martial Arts Association wanting to settle the score with you."
At this moment, a voice came from outside.
Looking over, they saw Mason Raymond walking toward them.
Seeing Mason, Leticia quickly stood up, saying coldly, "Mason Raymond, what are you trying to do!"
I glanced at him and said, "You’re no match for me, save your strength."
After saying that, I swaggered to the table, sat down, and even poured myself a cup of tea.
"Ms. Zackary, I’m not here to fight with you today." I took a sip of tea.
Ms. Zackary said coldly, "What do you want?"
I laughed, "I want to know how to break free from the Spirit binding technique."
