Chapter 740: Chapter 740 Let Us See Who Dares

A bone-chilling wave of power exploded from me, rippling outward in every direction.

Everyone’s faces shifted as they felt the murderous cold radiating from my body.

"That’s Mason Raymond for you - lives up to the hype," someone sneered.

"Anyone who can make the Capital City Martial Arts Association sweat isn’t your average joe."

"Let me test that myself!" Another voice cut through the air. The speaker lunged forward, reaching for my head with his bare hand!

I shot him an ice-cold look, then balled up my fist and launched it straight at him!

Golden shadows of my fist filled the air like a blazing sun blanketing everything!

"Boom!"

The second our fists met, the attacking Marquis went flying backward.

His hand bones snapped instantly, and the impact crushed his chest inward!

"Puff!"

Blood sprayed from his mouth. He tried to stand but realized his chest had caved in completely!

Recovery would take ages!

Everyone around us sucked in sharp breaths at the sight.

One punch had destroyed a Marquis. Just how powerful was I?

"Just some rookie Military Marquis - nothing special," another fighter stepped up.

This guy was short but packed serious power!

"Peak Form Military Marquis!" I felt his energy and my eyebrows pulled together.

Who knew how many Peak Form Military Marquis were hiding in this crowd!

There was no way I could handle a Peak Form Military Marquis Realm fighter.

"Everyone, let’s jump him together," someone called out.

"Those Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials could show up any second. Don’t waste time."

The moment those words hit the air, everyone moved forward.

My face went stone cold. I sucked in a deep breath and braced for what was coming.

"Let’s see who’s got the balls to try!"

A voice I knew rang out!

I spun around and spotted Guy Noble climbing out of a Rolls-Royce.

More than a dozen cars sat behind him.

As the vehicles came to a stop, over twenty people stepped out.

One, two, three... More than twenty fighters, every single one at Marquis Realm!

Guy Noble marched over with his crew strutting behind him.

He planted himself next to me, then faced the others and barked, "Let’s see who’s got the balls to try!"

"Mr. Tenny from the Noble family? I thought the Noble family was staying out of this?" someone asked.

Guy Noble let out a harsh laugh, "Our Noble Family isn’t getting involved, but my old man said we’d help Mason grab that medicinal stuff."

"Technically, we’re working for Mason now."

The sight of this made everyone’s confidence crash.

Nobody wanted to piss off the Noble family members in Downton City.

"Hope I’m not too late?" Guy Noble grinned.

I shook my head and replied, "Perfect timing."

Everyone instinctively stepped back, and those who’d been ready to attack dropped their plans.

"No wonder this punk acts so cocky - he’s got the Noble family backing him," York Pauley muttered from far away.

Angela Tamara’s face twisted with annoyance, reluctance written all over it.

"So you’re Mr. Tenny from the Noble family," Ms. Zackary said, stepping forward.

She clasped her hands behind her back and continued, "I represent the Capital City Martial Arts Association. If you’re willing to walk away, our Association will definitely owe you one."

Guy Noble glared daggers at Ms. Zackary and snarled, "Old hag, I don’t give a damn about your crappy ten-thousand-year-old medicinal crap. I’m here to clean up the mess you made."

"You think you can disrespect the Noble Family? Call us monkeys? I’ll show you who the real monkey is!"

"As for the Capital City Martial Arts Association, what the hell does that mean to me? Old bat, I’m gonna flatten that wrinkled face of yours with an iron someday!"

After bottling it up for days, Guy Noble finally let it all out.

Ms. Zackary’s face looked like she’d swallowed something nasty.

She stared daggers at Guy Noble and spat through clenched teeth, "You little shit, do you know who you’re mouthing off to?"

"Yeah, I know. I’m talking to an old beast, an old monkey who thinks she’s hot stuff," Guy Noble shot back.

That did it for Ms. Zackary.

Her power erupted without control, and the crushing presence of Peak Form Military Marquis flooded the entire area!

As a big shot in the Capital City Martial Arts Association, Ms. Zackary’s strength was undeniable.

Among fighters her level, she rarely met her match!

Feeling Ms. Zackary’s energy, everyone’s faces changed.

"No joke she’s from the Capital City Martial Arts Association," someone whispered.

Ms. Zackary fixed her cold stare on Guy Noble and said, "Little punk, even if you’re from the Noble Family, you think I’m scared of you?"

The twenty-plus military marquis standing with Guy Noble quickly stepped forward, forming a wall in front of him.

"Go ahead and try!" Guy Noble snorted.

Then Guy Noble flicked his wrist.

A folding fan materialized in his hand out of nowhere.

The fan looked ordinary enough, but ancient power swirled around it.

"A Martial Saint Weapon!" Everyone gasped when they saw the folding fan!

Not only had the Noble Family brought over twenty Military Marquis, but they’d also brought out a Martial Saint Weapon!

How deep were the Noble Family’s resources?

Ms. Zackary’s expression soured too.

The Capital City Martial Arts Association had plenty of Martial Saint Weapons, but Ms. Zackary hadn’t packed any for this trip.

"Come on, let’s see if I can smack you dead with this fan!" Guy Noble shouted.

Even though Ms. Zackary was boiling mad, she knew this wasn’t the right time to fight.

She could only curse herself for underestimating the Noble Family, or she wouldn’t be in this crappy situation.

"Fine, the Noble Family it is. I’ll remember this," Ms. Zackary took a deep breath and turned to leave.

Guy Noble kept the insults coming, "Old beast, you better get out of Downton City fast, or I’ll smash your face to pieces!"

Ms. Zackary was livid, having been called an "old beast" by multiple people in one day.

As a major player in the Capital City Martial Arts Association, she couldn’t stand being disrespected by these young punks!

"Ms. Zackary, no point in making enemies of the Noble Family," Jean Tricia advised.

"Guy Noble is here to help Mason Raymond, and Mason’s path is different from ours, so don’t worry about it."

Ms. Zackary gave a slight nod, then asked, "Master Tricia, you’re sure about the location you figured out?"

"Absolutely no doubt!" Jean Tricia answered with a thin smile.

"Ms. Zackary, you can trust me completely."

Ms. Zackary nodded and said, "If we get those ten-thousand-year-old medicinal materials this time, the Capital City Martial Arts Association will definitely hire you as a professional treasure hunter."

Jean Tricia lit up at this news, "Thank you, Ms. Zackary!"

Everyone clustered around Ms. Zackary, while Guy Noble stayed by my side.

"I owe you big time for this, and I won’t forget it," I told him.

Guy Noble waved it off and said, "Our Noble Family always keeps our promises!"

I nodded, then said, "We should get moving too."

Guy Noble waved his hand and said, "Let’s roll!"
