Chapter 714: Chapter 714 Secret of the Bloodline

Bella Tad watched Walton Greer’s retreating form and glanced at me. The energy surrounding him started to fade away slowly.

"Fine, I’ll do what you want," Bella Tad said with a cold snort.

I patted his shoulder and asked, "How’d you wind up here? Didn’t Ximena Santos tell me you got captured?"

Bella Tad nodded and replied, "Yeah, they almost got me, but I came to halfway through and broke free."

"Since I got away, the Capital City Martial Arts Association sent multiple black and gold robes after me, so I’ve been staying hidden."

I frowned and said, "I didn’t think they’d come after you too."

Bella Tad waved his hand and said, "Word is you got killed by the Immortal Slaying Sect. You..."

"I got lucky and escaped," I laughed.

Bella Tad slapped my shoulder again and said, "Every disaster brings good fortune! Mason, you saved my life before, so I owe you everything!"

I laughed and said, "Cut that out, let’s get registered first."

Both of us had amazing talent, so getting into the academy wouldn’t be tough at all.

After finishing the paperwork, Bella Tad and I walked out of the academy together.

The academy officially started in three days, but nobody knew what specific moves they’d make.

"Come back to Green Moon Villa with me first," I told Bella Tad.

Bella Tad nodded and agreed, "Sure!"

So we both left Capital City together and headed toward Cango City.

When we got back to Green Moon Villa, Ximena Santos had prepared a huge spread of food.

That evening, we all sat under the moonlight drinking together.

"Mr. Raymond, these past months, killers have been chasing me all across Pyro, and I barely made it out alive." Bella Tad took a drink and said.

As he spoke, Bella Tad pulled off his shirt, showing his muscular frame.

"Look what they did to me," Bella Tad pointed to a nasty wound on his chest.

"Course, they didn’t get off easy either. I took out six of their black and gold robes!" Bella Tad flipped the topic and said with a grin.

I took a sip of wine and said seriously, "The Capital City Martial Arts Association isn’t simple. There’s talk that purple robes are their strongest fighters, but who knows if that’s true."

Bella Tad stared at me, waiting for me to keep going.

I continued, "I’ve got a strong hunch they might have top-level Martial Saint Realm experts."

"Martial Saint Realm?" Surprise flickered across Bella Tad’s face.

I nodded and said, "That’s right. My gut tells me they don’t just have Martial Saints, but maybe more than one."

Bella Tad’s expression grew serious too.

If Martial Saints really existed, nobody could stand up to the Capital City Martial Arts Association.

Even if you gathered them all together, countless Marquises would mean nothing against a Martial Saint.

"If they really have Martial Saints, why don’t they just send them out directly?" Watson Thompson tilted her head, asking with confusion. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

I shook my head, "Don’t know, maybe for some reason, they can’t move freely."

This feeling was strong, not to mention the eight senior officials, which also gave me a sense of danger.

"I’ve got an idea, think the Capital City Martial Arts Association’s Martial Saint might be training in some Mystic Realm?" The usually quiet Ximena Santos suddenly suggested.

My eyes lit up a bit, and I nodded, "I’m thinking the same thing."

"Before news about the Mystic Realm came out, I didn’t think the Capital City Martial Arts Association had such powerful forces."

"But once I learned the Mystic Realm was hiding massive resources, I changed my mind."

As I said this, I looked around at the others and continued, "Even if they don’t have a Martial Saint now, someone in their group will eventually become one. Anything’s possible in the Mystic Realm."

The mood suddenly got heavier, and even the usually upbeat Bella Tad couldn’t help but frown.

"So what can we do, and what should we do?" Bella Tad asked.

I shook my head and said, "All we can do is boost our own strength as fast as possible, at least have some fighting chance before their Martial Saints make their move."

"That’s all we can do," Bella Tad sighed.

I couldn’t help but let out a small sigh.

Right now, the Capital City Martial Arts Association felt like an impossible mountain to climb.

But to save Mabel Sean, I could only push forward.

After dinner, Ximena Santos and I went back to the Great Hall.

I pulled the Prajna Ruler from my chest and set it in front of Ximena Santos.

"This thing’s called the Prajna Ruler, a Martial Saint Weapon," I said.

Ximena Santos stared at the Prajna Ruler in front of her, her eyes glowing with strange light.

I handed the Prajna Ruler to Ximena Santos and said, "I’m heading back to Capital City tomorrow, and this Prajna Ruler stays with you."

"If something really goes down, I think the Prajna Ruler should handle it, but try not to use it unless you absolutely have to."

Ximena Santos wrinkled her brow and asked, "Will you be gone long?"

"Don’t know," I shook my head.

"Either way, you need to watch over Green Moon Villa."

Ximena Santos looked at my serious face and didn’t dare ask more questions, just nodded carefully.

Green Moon Villa might become a base for me.

After all, one person alone can’t tear down the Capital City Martial Arts Association.

——

At this time, in a manor in Capital City.

In a secret room of the manor, strange sounds burst out, like something was about to explode.

"Boom!"

A moment later, the secret room erupted with blinding light, the glow lasting half a second before spreading out like waves in all directions!

The loud crash instantly woke Logan Sean from his deep sleep.

Logan Sean’s brow creased slightly as he quickly got dressed and rushed downstairs.

At the secret room entrance, he saw a pale-faced young man standing there, looking like a sickly weakling.

But the aura around him was incredibly powerful, making it hard for anyone to look straight at him!

"Alberto Sean, have you finished your retreat?" Logan Sean quickly walked up to him.

Getting closer, Logan Sean noticed the wild smile on Alberto Sean’s face right now.

Half a second later, Alberto Sean burst into laughter, "Hahaha, I finally get it! I get it!"

Logan Sean looked confused and frowned, "Alberto Sean, what’s wrong with you?"

Alberto Sean looked at Logan Sean and said with a cold smile, "Father, I finally understand the secret hidden in my bloodline."

"The secret in your bloodline?" Logan Sean was startled.

"You mean... Mabel Sean’s bloodline?"
