Chapter 706: Chapter 706 A Dangerous Proposition
The instant we entered the Mystic Realm, everything around us shifted completely.
As our group crossed the threshold together, the entrance snapped shut behind us.
I looked around and noticed this so-called Mystic Realm didn’t seem that different from the regular world.
But the qi here was definitely thicker, more intense.
Plus, I could feel this old, ancient energy flowing through the place.
Obviously, this Mystic Realm had been around for ages.
"Mr. Raymond, what do you think?" Alexa Madron asked, grinning at me.
I nodded slightly. "Not exactly what I pictured."
"Let me give you the tour," Alexa offered.
Alexa took the lead, walking us through the Mystic Realm.
The realm wasn’t huge, but the space felt solid and stable, with barely any cracks or weak spots.
Besides the pure qi that had built up over the years, there was this weird energy mixed in.
The vibe reminded me of the Three Pure Ancient Tree.
Under all that rich qi, the whole Mystic Realm looked incredible.
Beautiful mountains, crystal-clear water - the kind of place you’d want to live forever.
"The Michelle Sect must have some serious masters to build something like this," I said, genuinely impressed.
Making your own pocket dimension? That took real skill.
"Mr. Raymond, you’re being too kind." Alexa shook his head.
He chuckled. "We didn’t create this. Our ancestors left it for us."
I thought about it and that made sense.
A space this solid would need someone at the mighty realm level.
If the Michelle Sect had mighty realm cultivators, they wouldn’t be hiding from the authorities.
After walking around the realm, Alexa led me to a villa.
"Mr. Raymond, you can crash here while you’re visiting," Alexa suggested.
I shook my head. "No thanks. I’ve got stuff to handle. I won’t be staying long - leaving today actually. Let’s just get to business."
Alexa looked surprised. "Leaving already? Well, okay then, Mr. Raymond. This way."
We headed toward a Great Hall.
Inside, more than ten people sat there looking grim.
These ten guys radiated bad vibes, like they were ready for a fight.
"You must be Mason Raymond?" One man stood up.
I looked at him, keeping my cool. "Yeah, so what?"
"Do you know who I am?" he pressed.
I couldn’t help but laugh. "Why should I care who you are?"
"Hahaha!" The guy burst out laughing.
"You’ve caused quite a stir using my name." As he spoke, a long sword appeared in his hand.
"Using your name?" I frowned.
Looking at how he dressed, I started to piece things together.
"Are you Angela Tamara?" I asked.
"Exactly!" The man drove his sword into the ground. "I’m Angela Tamara. You pretended to be me, caused trouble - don’t you think you owe me an apology?"
My eyebrows pulled together.
Something felt off about this Angela Tamara.
From what I knew, Angela Tamara hated the Capital City Martial Arts Association.
Usually, if someone used his name to mess with his enemies, Angela Tamara would be happy about it, not pissed off.
Angela Tamara glared at me coldly. "What, didn’t you hear what I said?"
"I never claimed to be Angela Tamara, and I don’t even know you," I replied calmly.
Angela’s sword shook as he spoke coldly. "Fine! I heard your sword skills aren’t bad. Let me see for myself!"
Before his words even finished, Angela swung his sharp blade straight at my forehead!
The deadly sword light shot toward my brow!
My face changed and I immediately used Shrinking Ground Into An Inch, backing away at lightning speed.
The sword missed, slamming into the floor.
The ground instantly cracked with a long gash, then the whole surface split open!
Seeing this, my expression turned ice cold.
"You’re trying to kill me?" I stared coldly at Angela Tamara.
Angela snorted. "So what if I am? So what if I’m not?"
I stayed quiet, scanning the room.
Seemed like everyone from the Michelle Sect wanted me dead.
"Mr. Tamara, Mr. Raymond is our guest. You should..." Stella Lucas rushed to step in.
Alexa laughed too. "Mason, you did cause big problems for the Michelle Sect. They’re understandably upset. Hope you get it."
My face was stone cold, and I didn’t say anything.
Alexa quickly added, "Please, have a seat."
I picked a random spot and sat down. Looking at Alexa, I said, "Let’s talk business."
Alexa nodded. "Our Michelle Sect has always valued talent. As long as you’ve got the skills, we’re ready to back you."
"Mr. Raymond, if you agree to join our Michelle Sect, I’m sure we can meet all your needs."
I shook my head. "Joining the Michelle Sect isn’t happening. Everyone knows you guys are on the authorities’ hit list. If I join, I’ll be running for my life."
"That’s fair." Alexa didn’t seem surprised.
He smiled slightly. "What if we, the Michelle Sect, could help you save Mabel Sean?"
"Save Mabel?" My eyebrows shot up, and my expression shifted.
Alexa nodded. "Yes, I think you’d be interested in that offer."
My frown deepened.
Like Alexa said, I was definitely interested.
Everything I’d done was to save Mabel.
If the Michelle Sect could actually rescue Mabel, I’d have no reason to say no.
After staying quiet for a moment, I took a deep breath and shook my head. "I don’t think you have the power to save Mabel."
"Hahaha!" Alexa burst into laughter when he heard that.
He stood up. "You’re right, we can’t do it alone. But if we work together, we can definitely save her!"
"Work together?" I was confused.
"How would that work?"
Alexa smiled. "The only way to rescue Mabel is to get into the Capital City Martial Arts Association’s Mystic Realm. Once we’re inside, we can bring her out."
"Mr. Raymond, all you need to do is find where their Mystic Realm is. When the time comes, we’ll send people to help you break in and get her out. What do you say?"
Alexa’s words definitely caught my attention.
I stared at Alexa, frowning. "Is this for real?"
"Absolutely. As long as you locate their Mystic Realm, we can bring her back." Alexa sipped his tea casually.
