Orr lunged forward with both hands, reaching for the elderly woman!
The woman wasn’t about to wait for her doom. She snorted coldly, and a complex path inscription materialized in her palm instantly!
The marking was intricate and enigmatic, as though it held some hidden force!
She lifted her hand, striking toward Orr’s forehead!
Orr’s hands froze mid-motion!
His palms hung suspended in the air, completely still, as if the woman’s technique had locked them in place!
My expression shifted dramatically! The old woman had actually halted Orr? How was that even possible!
I knew that even when the Marquis was at full strength, he couldn’t fight back against Orr!
The woman clasped her hands behind her back and spoke nonchalantly, "You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that, but sadly, it won’t help you much."

This black serpent was hissing menacingly, both its eyes showing a frightening stare!

"A Demonic Beast?" My eyebrows knitted together with a hint of shock in my eyes.
Had this old woman actually tamed a wild beast?
