Chapter 671: Chapter 671 Torn To Pieces
The power radiating from me sent waves of terror through Sybil Cooper!
The sight of the crushed railing left everyone stunned, making them gasp in disbelief!
Everyone around me watched in speechless shock, too scared to make a sound.
Nobody could believe my punch had twisted the metal railing like that!
"Stop... stop." Sybil Cooper wiped sweat from his brow, signaling his men to end Mabel Sean’s torture.
The two operatives immediately ceased their technique. The glowing tubes connected to Mabel Sean began dimming.
My cold stare stayed locked on Sybil Cooper, making him shiver.
What a bone-chilling look! Even Sybil Cooper couldn’t stop himself from sweating!
"No, this guy has to die today!" Sybil Cooper roared silently, gripped by pure terror!
For a split second, he felt like death itself was staring him down!
Without saying another word, he spun around and marched out with his crew.
The icy energy around me slowly faded, but my frozen expression kept everyone else quiet.
After what felt like forever, someone finally spoke up, "That punch of yours...was incredible. Nobody’s ever bent this railing before."
I glanced at the speaker but stayed silent.
The rage I’d felt moments ago had nearly made me lose all control.
Yet that anger had given me some mysterious strength.
This wasn’t my first time feeling something like this.
I’d experienced a similar surge when I’d faced Roberts Joshua.
"Mabel, how are you doing?" I turned toward Mabel Sean.
Mabel Sean shook her head, forcing a smile, "I’m okay."
Her words sounded like a dying person’s last breath, heavy with sorrow.
The people around me tried offering comfort.
"In your next life, you’ll still be a hero!" they all said together.
I thanked each person individually, then settled in to wait for the Capital City Martial Arts Association’s decision.
Ten minutes passed.
Sybil Cooper returned with two purple-robed figures.
"Mason Raymond, time to leave this world behind," Sybil Cooper said icily.
I stood up and fixed my cold gaze on Sybil Cooper, "Sybil Cooper, I swear to you, for every ounce of pain Mabel suffered, you’ll endure a hundred, a thousand times worse."
Sybil Cooper tried to sneer, but somehow the words got caught in his throat.
Finally, Sybil just grunted coldly and waved his hand, "Take him."
The cell door groaned open, and the two purple figures grabbed my shoulders, leading me out of the prison.
——
Watching Mason’s disappearing form, Mabel Sean’s tears kept flowing.
She wept quietly, biting her lip to muffle any sound.
Mason Raymond had been taken away.
Finally, Mabel Sean couldn’t hold back anymore and broke into uncontrollable sobs.
Her heartbroken crying touched everyone, bringing tears to several eyes.
——
At the Capital City Martial Arts Association’s execution grounds behind the main building, I was escorted by two figures in black and gold robes.
They used a secret technique to restrain me while two Martial Saint Weapons lit up around me.
The two Martial Saint Weapons pointed straight at my forehead, ready to pierce through my consciousness once fired!
Phoebe Billy stared at me with growing panic.
"What’s his strategy...what’s his endgame!" Phoebe Billy screamed internally!
The execution time had come, yet I showed no signs of trying to escape!
Could I really be about to die here today!
"Mason Raymond, this day next year will mark your death anniversary," Sybil Cooper said coldly.
"Any final words?"
I slowly shut my eyes, appearing to accept my fate.
"Sybil Cooper, if I don’t die today, do you think you’ll ever sleep soundly again?"
Right then, I suddenly grinned, showing my white teeth.
Sybil Cooper’s heart jumped at my words. He sneered back, "Even if heaven itself intervened, nothing could save you!"
Sybil Cooper felt a wave of anxiety. He desperately wanted to see me dead.
So Sybil commanded, "No more stalling, do it!"
"Understood." The two purple-robed figures nodded, powering up the two Martial Saint Weapons!
The Martial Saint Weapons pulsed with ancient energy, targeting my forehead!
Brilliant light gathered like the sun itself, and thunderous sounds grew increasingly loud.
I gritted my teeth, staring hard at the two Martial Saint Weapons.
I felt nervous too.
"Damn it... Betting his life on a gamble, huh!" Phoebe Billy cursed silently.
At this point, he’d given up all hope.
He closed his eyes and thought, "Mason, consider this my debt to you. See you in the next life."
"Bzzzz..."
The Martial Saint Weapons began glowing, their energy racing toward my forehead!
"Halt!"
Just as the tension peaked, a commanding shout rang out from outside!
Everyone turned to see a tall, imposing man with overwhelming presence stride in.
He wore a green military uniform with black boots, his eyes radiating absolute authority!
"Bur...Richard?" Seeing the man, Sybil Cooper’s eyebrows knitted together.
He approached him and said, "Commander Richard, what brings you here?"
Richard tossed off his coat, which his aide caught mid-air.
Walking up to me, Richard pointed and declared, "I’m taking this man."
Sybil Cooper’s eyes narrowed as he asked, "Commander Richard, what exactly do you mean?"
"What, can’t you understand plain English?" Richard replied with a stern expression.
Sybil Cooper snorted, "Commander Richard, you may hold a special position, but you can’t just snatch people whenever you want, can you?"
"Mason Raymond faces serious charges and must face justice!"
Richard said coldly, "Mason Raymond belongs to the battle zone. Any decisions concerning him fall under our jurisdiction, not the Capital City Martial Arts Association’s."
Hearing this, Sybil Cooper laughed out loud, "Commander Richard, I expected you’d say something like that, but unfortunately we’ve already secured proper authorization."
Richard shot him a look, "What authorization? Let me see it."
Sybil Cooper immediately had one of his men retrieve the authorization from his office.
Minutes later, Sybil had the authorization in his hands.
He handed it to Richard, "Please take a look, Commander Richard."
Taking the authorization from Sybil, Richard didn’t even glance at it before tearing it to pieces in front of everyone!
"Well, now you don’t have any authorization." Richard said without expression.
