Chapter 600: Chapter 600 A Villain Must Be Created

The dark figure swept her hand, and countless people flew through the air like broken dolls!

Those who had planned to fight back suddenly lost their nerve and began running for their lives!

I watched the figure closely, my expression growing stranger by the second!

A mask hid her face, and this mask looked exactly like the one Watson Thompson carried!

"Could it be... that this person owns the mask?!" I shouted!

Even more crucial, there appeared to be some link between the mask and Watson!

The masked woman rushed into the Great Hall quickly.

The cultivators inside stood no chance against her and were completely defenseless.

Within moments, the Immortal Slaying Sect was drenched in blood.

The sect leader on his throne had turned white as snow.

He moved his lips, apparently trying to speak, but I couldn’t make out any words.

From how his mouth moved, he seemed to be pleading for his life.

But the masked woman showed no mercy, simply lifting her hand and crushing the sect leader’s divine sense instantly!

I remained frozen in place, still reeling from shock.

Who was this masked woman? How could entire sects of mighty realm cultivators be powerless against her?!

The masked woman lingered in the Great Hall for quite some time. Only after what felt like ages did she finally depart.

My divine sense pulled back at that moment.

Staring at what lay before me, I broke into a cold sweat.

"So many mighty realm cultivators... completely helpless..." My face showed pure terror.

This made me wonder - with lifespans spanning thousands of years, had any of them actually lived until now?!

And what connection existed between the masked woman and Watson? Why could only Watson wear the mask?

Maybe...

Watson was the masked woman reborn?!

If so, Watson’s destiny... knew no limits! 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

I stretched out my hand, trying to touch the body slumped in the chair.

But right then, the corpse crumbled with a crash, turning to dust and vanishing entirely.

"Weird." I scowled.

"It was solid just moments ago, how did it suddenly become ash and disappear?"

"Maybe... someone wanted me to witness this on purpose?"

Suddenly, the entire Great Hall turned icy cold.

A chill emerged from each pile of bones!

"This is dark energy... so many deaths, yet the dark energy only erupts now." I became more confused.

"I should find a chance... to bring Watson here for testing." I thought to myself.

Then, I started searching through the Immortal Slaying Sect.

After all, these were mighty realm cultivators, some even beyond that level.

Any item they possessed would be an extraordinary sacred artifact.

——

On the island floating above the ocean, dawn was breaking.

Hawk Thompson stood on the water’s surface, his brow deeply furrowed.

Soon, Walton Greer emerged above the waves.

He approached Hawk Thompson, shaking his head, "Captain Thompson, we still can’t locate him. I’m afraid he’s already sunk to the ocean floor."

Hawk Thompson stayed quiet, then murmured, "I hope that’s true."

Despite his words, Hawk Thompson still felt somewhat troubled inside.

As for what secrets might lie beneath this island, Hawk Thompson had no clue.

"We can’t wait much longer. Once this bracelet stops working, controlling these lower-tier martial artists will become impossible." Hawk Thompson said seriously.

If the bracelet failed, these martial artists from the bottom ranks would be hard to manage.

Though they didn’t dare rebel right now, if real treasure was buried under this island, they wouldn’t remain submissive.

When the stakes were high enough, any coward could turn into a warrior.

So, Hawk Thompson called everyone together, saying icily, "From this point forward, I’ll guide you to the actual treasure."

Hearing this, the group stared at Hawk Thompson with confused faces.

"Seems like there’s treasure hidden beneath the ocean." Alberto Sean said casually.

"Really? Alberto, do you have inside knowledge?" Several people turned to Alberto Sean.

Alberto Sean looked at them, saying, "I once browsed the library at the Capital City Martial Arts Association, where they keep records of every Mystic Realm location and basic details worldwide."

At this, everyone couldn’t help but look surprised.

"Alberto, what’s your connection to the Capital City Martial Arts Association? You can access that information?" Pearson Bowman asked, amazed.

Alberto Sean glanced at him, replying coolly, "Well, the Capital City Martial Arts Association approached me as a potential chairman candidate."

Upon hearing this, everyone drew sharp breaths!

They never imagined Alberto Sean would receive such recognition!

"Miss Green, it appears Mason Raymond is dead now." Zora Solomon suddenly shifted the conversation.

Elena Green looked at Zora Solomon and grinned, "Mr. Solomon, you seem quite hostile toward Mason Raymond."

Zora Solomon huffed, "Regarding Mason Raymond, he’s not worth my attention."

Hearing this, Elena Green said casually, "I don’t believe Mason Raymond is necessarily dead."

"Ha, it’s been a full day and night now. If he hasn’t died, is he relaxing on the ocean floor?" Zora Solomon mocked.

"We could wager on it," Elena Green smiled.

"Alright, what’s the bet?" Zora Solomon snorted.

Elena Green considered for a moment and said, "If he’s alive, you give me the Solomon Family Treasure, agreed?"

Zora Solomon’ expression darkened instantly, and he said coldly, "Miss Green, isn’t this wager excessive? The Solomon Family Treasure isn’t mine to give."

Elena Green smiled softly, "It appears Mr. Solomon lacks confidence after all."

Provoked by Elena Green’s words, Zora Solomon immediately responded, "I’ll take that bet! What if you lose!"

"If I lose, I’ll give you the Green family’s Ancient Guqin." Elena Green answered with a smile.

"The Ancient Guqin? The Green family’s heirloom?" Zora Solomon’ eyes lit up.

"Miss Green, I trust you’ll honor your word," Zora Solomon said.

Elena Green bowed slightly, "Likewise."

After that, everyone fell silent and focused on Hawk Thompson.

Hawk Thompson spoke coldly, "The ocean depths hold many dangers, one careless moment could spell disaster. From now on, you must all stay behind me and never stray from my side. Otherwise, face the consequences alone."

Everyone nodded slightly.

Hawk Thompson looked at Walton Greer, saying coldly, "Once we reach the sea bottom, I want you to eliminate all the low-tier martial artists, leaving none alive. I’ll use the bracelet to assist you."

Walton Greer frowned, "Mr. Thompson, isn’t this somewhat wrong? If I kill them all, won’t my reputation suffer?"

Hawk Thompson narrowed his eyes, "What else do you think I recruited you for? Let me be clear, I brought you into the Capital City Martial Arts Association to serve as our shadow operative, to handle what we cannot do directly!"

At this point, Hawk Thompson paused, then continued with a cold laugh, "When we exit this place, you’ll need to kill even more people. If villains don’t exist, we must create them. This way, we can showcase the importance of our Capital City Martial Arts Association. Got it?"
