Chapter 431: Chapter 431 Orders From A Small Character

Mabel Sean gripped her phone tightly, staring at the screen with unblinking eyes.

Watching Mason Raymond get beaten until blood spilled from his mouth made her heart feel like it was being sliced with a blade.

Her face went pale in an instant.

Even her phone-holding hand started shaking.

This scene brought Logan Sean immense satisfaction.

He drew on his cigar and spoke with detachment, "Look, Mason Raymond has become the martial world’s shame, and everyone wants him dead."

"Mabel, are you really going to watch him get torn apart by the crowd?"

Mabel’s head snapped up.

Her narrowed eyes locked onto Logan Sean without wavering.

"What the hell do you want!" Mabel’s voice was ice-cold.

Logan Sean let out a booming laugh, "Want? I don’t want anything. Just giving you a heads up."

"Right now, Mason can’t threaten anyone or change a damn thing."

"Mabel, just drop that fantasy, haha!"

After spitting out those words, Logan Sean grabbed the phone and walked away.

Mabel sat alone in the vast restaurant, looking completely lost and confused.

She even started questioning herself.

What had her presence brought Mason?

Was it fortune, or disaster?

If she’d never shown up, would Mason be facing these troubles?

——

Conrad Schroeder had set up my place in Chuzzle.

It was a suburban villa, way out from the city center. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Mountains and rivers surrounded it, with a massive peak at its back.

For me, it couldn’t be a better spot.

Right now, I stood at the mountain’s base.

My hands clasped behind my back, I gazed up at the towering summit while my sharp divine sense swept a ten-mile radius.

Soon enough, I picked up an approaching aura.

The newcomer was a Third Rank Grandmaster, with impressive power hidden beneath their weathered presence.

"Conrad?" I raised an eyebrow, quickly figuring out who it was.

Sure enough, Conrad showed up at the mountain’s foot within ten minutes.

"Mr. Raymond." Conrad gave me a slight bow.

I nodded and asked, "What brings you by?"

Conrad answered, "I know what you’re dealing with."

"And?" I smiled.

Conrad’s expression turned cold, his aura flared, and his clothes suddenly ripped apart, showing off his holy body’s powerful build.

"I’m standing with you." Conrad declared.

I was stunned, a flash of gratitude crossing my mind.

"Thanks." I said with genuine feeling.

Conrad brushed it off, "The three of us, with Sixth Rank Grandmaster strength, might be able to match them."

Even though Conrad was only Third Rank, he had that holy body.

So if we teamed up, maybe we could pull off a win.

Time crawled by, minute after minute.

At the mountain’s base, a soft breeze stirred, making the leaves whisper.

Finally, at midday, I sensed three Sixth Rank Grandmasters closing in.

"They’re here." I said quietly.

Hearing this, Conrad quickly pushed his aura to maximum.

But I patted his shoulder and said, "Conrad, I get it, but you should go rest."

Conrad’s brow furrowed as he asked with confusion, "Why?"

I smiled and said, "I’ve got this covered."

"No way." Conrad stubbornly refused.

"If I bail now, I’d look like a coward, and how could I face you later?"

I opened my mouth but could only smile with resignation.

"Fine." Seeing the situation, I had no choice but to let him stay.

As the three auras got closer, they soon appeared before me.

"Well, well, Mr. Raymond, you’re really living it up." A mocking, nasty voice drifted over.

The speaker was Jagger herself.

Jagger held a folding fan, hiding half her face, striking a pretentious pose.

"Got everything ready?" The other two skipped the small talk.

"Don’t get too cocky!" Conrad roared, his aura exploding!

"Oh, old timer, looking to die?" Jagger laughed with contempt.

"At your age, why not go home and enjoy retirement? What are you trying to prove?"

Conrad said coldly, "When I, Conrad, was making my mark, you punks didn’t even exist!"

"Conrad? The former top martial artist of Chuzzle, Conrad?" Excitement lit up Jagger’s eyes.

Conrad snorted, "Since you know, then get lost!"

"Hahaha!" Jagger erupted in piercing laughter.

She said mockingly, "Old man, times have changed, and you still think you’re Chuzzle’s top fighter? I never imagined both the former and current top martial artists would be crushed under my feet, hahaha!"

Seeing Jagger’s revolting expression, Conrad exploded in fury!

His golden light blazing, he launched a punch straight at Jagger!

Jagger snorted coldly, "Just a Third Rank Grandmaster, completely clueless!"

Jagger folded her fan and met the punch with her pale hand.

"Clang!"

Under this strike, Jagger’s hand split and bled heavily!

Her body stumbled back several steps before she steadied herself!

"What?" Jagger’s face shifted slightly.

"How could a Third Rank Grandmaster like you have this kind of power?"

Conrad said coldly, "You can ask in hell!"

With that, Conrad charged again!

Jagger said coldly, "You really think you matter?"

She lightly tapped her folding fan, and a vicious force suddenly burst out!

This force was brutal, and even Conrad couldn’t help but change expression!

At that moment, I stepped in front of Conrad.

Looking up, I watched Jagger calmly.

"Conrad’s out of this now." I said with indifference.

Jagger snorted, "Still playing hero at a time like this? Just hand over the goods!"

"Yeah, we don’t have time to mess around with you." The other two chimed in.

I said with a smile, "If I give you the cultivation method, would you let me walk?"

With a nasty grin, Jagger said, "Oh, you’re pretty sharp, hahaha! Truth is, whether you hand it over or not, you’re dying today!"

"Exactly, how could we pass up a chance to get famous like this?" The other two exchanged looks and sneered.

I stood with my hands behind my back, speaking with indifference, "You think you’ve got me cornered?"

"What else?" Jagger snorted.

"Right now you’re nothing but a stray mutt. Killing you would be like chopping vegetables!" Jagger said smugly.

"When did the elder of my Divine Alchemist Pavilion have to take orders from a small character like you?"

At that moment, a commanding yet slightly seductive voice came from behind.
