Chapter 430: Chapter 430 Everyone Believes The Lie
——
Mya Winona sent the message but got no reply back.
This marked the very first time Mya had ever messaged the Pavilion Master.
The Pavilion Master’s reputation made him seem unreachable and cold. Even though people knew his phone number, they never dared contact him.
But now, for Mason Raymond’s sake, Mya had gathered the nerve to send that message.
Mason Raymond had no clue about this.
——
After I got back to my room, I couldn’t wait to check the Martial Arts Forum.
Sure enough, a video of my fight had been posted on the Martial Arts Forum.
In the video, I wasn’t showing my usual unstoppable power. Instead, I kept backing away.
"Can’t even handle three Sixth Rank Grandmasters. Looks like Mason Raymond really is hurt."
"That kind of internal damage is hard to fix. Even if he gets lucky and heals, it’ll mess up his foundation."
"A generational talent seems to be ending."
Endless comments flooded in like a wave.
I quietly shut my phone.
I lay on the bed, my lips curling into a cold smile.
——
Deep in the Pyro mountains, in a hidden valley.
In a simple house, an old man with white hair was resting.
"Master, it looks like Mason Raymond’s dantian got damaged and his power dropped big time." A disciple approached the old man.
This old man was the legendary Paul Randall.
A flash of surprise and even sadness crossed Paul Randall’s face.
"Such a talent falling like this, what a waste." Paul Randall sighed.
The disciple went on, "Throughout history, there have been many geniuses. But after seeing their situation clearly, they chose to keep themselves safe."
"But this Mason Raymond doesn’t know when to hold back at all, constantly picking fights with the noble families. No wonder he’s fallen."
Paul Randall looked at his disciple and sighed, "It’s exactly because everyone chooses to play it safe that the noble families keep getting stronger. The pride and backbone that Mason Raymond has is what our society is missing."
Hearing this, the disciple was shocked.
He hadn’t expected his master to think so highly of Mason Raymond.
"Master, there’s someone named Victor Green next to Mason Raymond who says he’s your disciple." The disciple continued.
"Want me to warn him?"
But Paul Randall waved his hand and said, "I regret that I can’t help him directly. Maybe helping him indirectly is a good thing."
The disciple was confused right away.
He frowned and said, "Master, you and Mason Raymond don’t even know each other. Why do you value him so much?"
Paul Randall stayed quiet for a moment.
Then he waved his hand and said, "Like I said, Mason Raymond has something our society needs. Every time I see news about him, I feel ashamed of hiding away like this."
The disciple opened his mouth to speak but Paul Randall cut him off with a wave.
——
The news of Mason Raymond getting beaten by the three Sixth Rank Grandmasters caused quite a stir.
Vance Johansson couldn’t help but laugh about this.
He immediately called me and sneered, "Mason Raymond, I heard your dantian got seriously hurt and you can’t practice martial arts anymore, right?"
I stayed quiet for a moment and said, "What’s that to you?"
Vance Johansson sneered, "Nothing to do with me at all. Looks like I won’t be seeing you in three months."
"We’ll see about that." I said coldly.
"Three months from now, I’ll show up at the Johansson family right on time."
"Hahahaha!" Vance Johansson on the other end burst out laughing.
"You coming to die? To get crushed by me in front of the woman you love? I really want to see that pathetic scene." Vance Johansson sneered.
I didn’t waste any more words on him and hung up right away.
——
Capital City, Sean family.
Mabel Sean had been locked up during this time, and all her power had been stripped away. She could only read books and take care of flowers every day.
Keeping her company was a pet dog named "Faith" and a bunch of servants who looked after her.
That was it.
"Faith, you want to eat too?"
At the dining table, Mabel Sean had cooked a whole table of food herself.
Surprisingly, all the servants were eating at the same table, enjoying Miss Sean’s home-cooked meal.
Only Faith, with her mouth wide open, looked hopeful.
Mabel Sean laughed and gently picked up Faith, saying, "We can’t finish it all anyway, so let’s give you some."
Right then, the Sean family’s front gate opened.
Soon after, Logan Sean, wrapped in a coat, walked through the door.
"The food looks pretty good." Logan Sean said coldly.
Hearing Logan Sean’s voice, all the servants quickly got up from the table, their faces full of worry.
"Who said you could all sit and eat?" Logan Sean coldly looked at the servants and said.
"Mr. Yan...We...We know we messed up." The people said nervously.
Logan Sean said coldly, "What, can’t figure out your place anymore?"
"I told them to eat together." Mabel Sean said from the side.
Logan Sean glanced at Mabel Sean and snorted, "Just because Miss Sean told you to eat, you eat? Really think you’re somebody?"
"They are people." Mabel Sean said with an unhappy look.
"Great uncle, if you keep looking down on others like this, someday, others will look down on you too."
Logan Sean burst out laughing, "Mabel, you really are innocent."
Mabel Sean didn’t want to deal with Logan Sean anymore, so she asked straight up, "What do you want?"
"Can’t I come see you if there’s nothing wrong?" Logan Sean smiled slightly.
"Every time you show up, it means bad news." Mabel Sean said without mercy.
Logan Sean couldn’t help but laugh. He sat down next to Mabel Sean, picked up chopsticks, and started eating.
"That bowl is for Faith." Mabel Sean reminded him.
"Who’s Faith?" Logan Sean frowned a little.
Mabel Sean immediately pointed to the dog next to her that was barking happily.
Logan Sean’s face turned cold instantly.
He threw the chopsticks aside and said coldly, "You guessed right, I’m here to give you bad news."
"Mason Raymond’s dantian got damaged, and he’s become a cripple. Don’t expect him to come take you away anymore." Logan Sean said coldly.
"No way," Mabel Sean said without hesitation.
She didn’t believe Logan Sean’s words at all.
Logan Sean said casually, "I knew you wouldn’t believe me, so I brought proof."
After that, Logan Sean took out his phone.
On the screen was the scene of Mason Raymond’s big fight with the three Grandmasters and the bloody sky.
Plus, Logan Sean opened the Martial Arts Forum and handed it to Mabel Sean.
"See it now? Or do you think I could control the whole Martial Arts Forum?" Logan Sean lit a cigar and said casually.
