Chapter 414: Chapter 414 Judgment of the Soul

Thor Suzanne’s expression shifted violently! He glared daggers at Zion Jaxon and roared, "Zion Jaxon! You’re a backstabbing liar, throwing me away after getting what you needed!"

Zion Jaxon smirked coldly, "Throwing you away? Your skills decide your worth. To me, you’re already worthless."

"You!" Thor Suzanne shook with rage, murderous intent flooding his heart.

But he knew damn well he couldn’t take Zion Jaxon in a fight.

If things got ugly, he’d be the one getting crushed.

So Thor Suzanne could only pray that I would turn down Zion Jaxon’s offer.

"So what’s it gonna be? My Michelle Sect will give you whatever you want," Zion Jaxon pressed on.

"With your skills, spend a few years learning overseas, then come back. Even the Sean Family from the Capital would be nothing compared to you!"

That kind of flattery was pretty damn impressive.

Trapped under the divine seal, I wore a cold grin.

"You stabbed Thor Suzanne in the back, so you’ll definitely do the same to me," I sneered.

Zion Jaxon shook his head frantically, "No way, you’re nothing like him."

He shot Thor Suzanne a look and kept going, "Thor Suzanne’s stuck in this backwater town for life. He’s already hit his ceiling."

"But you’re different. You’re young, full of potential! That body of yours has endless possibilities!"

"If you’re game, you could even lead the Michelle Sect someday!"

The deal Zion Jaxon was offering was seriously tempting. Even Thor Suzanne looked jealous.

Leader of the Michelle Sect! The money that position controlled rivaled the biggest noble families!

"What do you say? Will you join my Michelle Sect?" Zion Jaxon asked.

I sneered, "We want different things. Money means nothing to me."

"And that leadership spot you’re dangling? It’s not worth shit. If I wanted, I could build a sect and family that would crush the Michelle Sect."

Zion Jaxon didn’t lose his cool. He clasped his hands behind his back and said coolly, "I’ve done my homework on you. The only thing you’re really after is Miss Sean, right?"

I stayed quiet, which was basically saying yes.

Zion Jaxon snorted, "Someone as successful as you shouldn’t obsess over some woman! In a hundred years, she’ll be nothing but bones!"

"Later on, any woman you want will be begging at your feet. No need to care about some Sean family brat!"

I said coldly, "Like I said, we want different things."

"From three thousand weak waters, I only take one drink. Besides, without Mabel Sean, I wouldn’t be where I am today."

"What’s the difference between ditching your mentor and being an animal?"

Those words made Zion Jaxon’s face go dark.

He stared at me coldly and asked, "So you’ve decided to reject me?"

"Yeah," I didn’t hesitate.

Hearing my answer, Thor Suzanne finally relaxed.

"Mr. Zion, just kill him now and quit wasting time!" Thor Suzanne pushed anxiously, scared I might change my mind.

Zion Jaxon ignored Thor Suzanne but glared at me coldly, "Have you thought about this? If you don’t agree, you’ll die here today!"

"What about your dreams if you’re dead!"

I raised an eyebrow, "I don’t think I’m gonna die."

"Oh?" Zion Jaxon’s face went ice cold.

"I’ll give you credit for talent, but there’s a catch: you need to survive long enough to use it. You can’t talk that big right now!"

As he spoke, Zion Jaxon made a fist!

His terrifying power shot straight at my face!

This punch packed way more heat than Thor Suzanne’s! Before it even connected, the wind from it cracked the ground!

"Clang!"

The punch smashed right into my face. To Zion Jaxon’s shock, it only left a tiny scratch.

Didn’t even break the skin, let alone shatter bones!

"What a tough body!" Zion Jaxon said with genuine amazement.

This made him want to recruit me even more!

"Are you really not gonna think it over?" Zion Jaxon asked coldly.

"You talk too damn much," I said coldly.

"Fine!" Zion Jaxon stretched out his hand, and a long sword materialized!

This sword was another Michelle Sect treasure. Not as good as my bronze sword, but way better than regular weapons!

"Even with that tough body, I can still kill you," Zion Jaxon loomed overhead, pointing the sword tip at my nose.

A soft glow came from his palm.

The light merged with the sword, making it shine brilliantly!

The blade became razor sharp, like it had been powered up!

"Let me handle this!" Thor Suzanne jumped at the chance!

Zion Jaxon glanced at him, then handed over the sword.

"Remember, don’t mess up too much skin," Zion Jaxon warned.

Thor Suzanne nodded, "Don’t worry, Mr. Zion!"

Then he walked toward me with the sword.

"Didn’t you want to get revenge for Roberts Joshua? Ha! I’ll send you to meet him now!" Thor Suzanne had an evil grin plastered on his face.

I looked at Thor Suzanne and said, "You really think you’ve got me?"

Thor Suzanne laughed hard, "You can’t even move. How are you gonna cause trouble?"

My face stayed calm as I said casually, "Ever heard of a technique that targets the soul directly?"

"Huh?" Thor Suzanne froze.

"Divine... Judgment!"

Before Thor Suzanne could react, my technique exploded outward!

In an instant, Thor Suzanne’s mind felt like it got hit by lightning!

A golden sword seemed to shoot from my forehead, aimed straight at Thor Suzanne’s soul!

"Puff!"

In the blink of an eye, Thor Suzanne’s soul scattered like smoke!

This technique, Divine Judgment, was what I’d used on Helen Martin!

No matter how strong their bodies were, Divine Judgment made them worthless!

And after climbing the stairway to heaven, my soul was way beyond what Thor Suzanne could handle!

"Boom!"

Thor Suzanne’s corpse hit the ground like a fallen mountain, completely lifeless.

Zion Jaxon’s face changed instantly, unease creeping into his heart!

"Your turn now," I looked up and sneered.
