Chapter 381: Chapter 381 - Ambush

Logan Sean radiated killing intent, the air thick with tension ready to explode!

"Brother, let the Pavilion Master heal my daughter first," Soren Sean said, his tone growing noticeably colder.

Logan Sean shot Soren Sean a sideways look and snorted, "Fine, but I’m warning you—don’t pull any stunts!"

With those words, Logan Sean spun around and left.

"Pavilion Master, I’m grateful," Soren Sean said, bowing respectfully.

The Pavilion Master gave a slight nod. "Everyone else can go now."

After clearing the room, only the Pavilion Master and Mabel Sean remained.

The Pavilion Master moved to Mabel Sean’s bedside, lifting her hand and placing it gently on Mabel Sean’s forehead.

Soon after, currents of spiritual energy flowed through Mabel Sean’s crown chakra into her body.

The method looked strikingly similar to techniques Mason Raymond used.

Within moments, Mabel Sean’s color improved dramatically.

She pushed herself up weakly, her voice barely a whisper, "You’re the Master of Medicine God Pavilion?"

The Pavilion Master nodded slightly. "Lie down."

Mabel Sean became agitated and clutched the Pavilion Master’s arm. "How’s Mason Raymond doing? Please pass along a message—tell him he absolutely cannot come to Capital City, no matter what!"

Hearing this, the Pavilion Master went quiet.

"Mason Raymond wanted me to give you a message too," the Pavilion Master said.

Mabel Sean stared at the Pavilion Master, her eyes full of anxious hope.

"He said don’t worry. In the next six months, he’ll become strong enough to face the Sean family," the Pavilion Master said.

"On September 9th, he’ll come get you."

"He also said... he’ll take back the Sean family for you and Mr. Sean."

After hearing the Pavilion Master’s words, Mabel Sean couldn’t help but cry and laugh at the same time. "That idiot... I don’t give a damn about the Sean family or any of that."

"But he does," the Pavilion Master said calmly.

"To Mason Raymond, he’d never let you suffer with him or lose the Sean family and your status as Miss Sean because of him."

Mabel Sean stared blankly at the Pavilion Master, tears streaming down her face.

*"Six months... Can six months really make a difference?"* After a pause, Mabel Sean smiled bitterly.

"Take care of yourself and trust him. He has power you can’t imagine," the Pavilion Master said softly.

Mabel Sean hesitated briefly before nodding firmly. "I trust him."

While the two talked, Logan Sean was secretly scheming behind the scenes.

In Capital City, the Sean family wielded enormous influence.

Plus, it looked like the Johansson family was now in the mix.

Right now, Logan Sean sat with Klein Johansson.

"The Master of Medicine God Pavilion actually had the guts to come to Capital City," Klein Johansson muttered under his breath, eyes narrowed.

Logan Sean sneered coldly. "Talk about walking into a trap. Once she’s done treating Mabel Sean, I’ll send people to take her out immediately!"

Klein Johansson frowned. "What’s your plan, Mr. Sean?"

Logan Sean snorted. "The Divine Alchemist Pavilion has never respected the Sean family—they’ve even crossed us multiple times."

"Now she’s here in Capital City all by herself. How could I possibly let her walk away untouched?"

Klein Johansson said seriously, "Mr. Sean, the Pavilion Master of Medicine God can’t be harmed. If she dies, Capital City will be in chaos."

"Plenty of big shots depend on her for their health. You think they’ll let it slide if she’s killed?"

Logan Sean scoffed. "Anyone can be replaced—she’s no different."

"True, but... is there anyone who can replace her right now?" Klein Johansson asked.

Logan Sean fell silent.

Like Klein Johansson said, even though he hated admitting it, the Pavilion Master of Medicine God’s medical skills were universally acknowledged as the best.

At least right now, nobody could replace her and run the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

"This is a chance I absolutely won’t waste," Logan Sean snorted coldly after thinking it over. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

Klein Johansson quickly warned, "Mr. Sean, this needs to be handled carefully."

"Don’t worry—I know what I’m doing," Logan Sean said, eyes narrowing.

...

The sky slowly darkened.

The Pavilion Master’s treatment quickly boosted Mabel Sean’s health.

Her sickness came from worry. Now that she knew Mason Raymond was safe, her body naturally started healing.

The Pavilion Master personally made several pills for Mabel Sean, all meant to keep her healthy and strong.

"Pavilion Master, could I trouble you to deliver one more message to Mason Raymond?" Mabel Sean said quietly.

The Pavilion Master nodded slightly, gesturing for her to continue.

Mabel Sean bit her lip gently before whispering, "Until he has absolute power, he must not enter Capital City—or take any chances."

Hearing this, the Pavilion Master smiled faintly. "Think he’ll listen?"

Mabel Sean opened her mouth but stayed quiet.

"If I were you, I’d choose to trust him," the Pavilion Master said softly.

Mabel Sean definitely trusted Mason Raymond, but she knew exactly how powerful the Sean family was. She knew it wasn’t something one person could bring down.

*For Mabel Sean, as long as Mason Raymond stayed alive, that was enough.*

"Don’t worry. On September 9th, he’ll definitely come take you away," the Pavilion Master said with a slight smile.

Mabel Sean gritted her teeth. "Then please tell him... I’ll be waiting."

Mabel Sean then reached under her pillow and pulled out a bank card.

She handed the bank card to the Pavilion Master. "There’s some money here, please give it to Mason Raymond for me."

The Pavilion Master took the card and nodded. "Got it."

Without staying longer, the Pavilion Master gave a few final reminders before leaving the bedroom.

"Is the Pavilion Master planning to leave already? Wouldn’t that make the Sean family look incredibly rude?"

As the Pavilion Master prepared to leave the Sean family estate, a voice suddenly rang out behind her.

Turning around, she saw Logan Sean standing there.

Around him stood more than a dozen people at Peak Grandmaster level!

Though they held back their energy, the intimidating presence they gave off was impossible to hide.

The Pavilion Master’s expression stayed calm, completely unruffled.

She looked up and spotted the heavily armed gunmen hiding in the shadows, then said coolly, "Mr. Sean, you really honor me. For one person, such a big show—is it worth it?"

Logan Sean blew out a puff of smoke and said with a mocking smile, "Of course. After all, you’re the famous Master of Medicine God Pavilion."

The Pavilion Master smiled faintly. "Mr. Sean, planning to kill me?"

Logan Sean burst out laughing. "Pavilion Master, no need to worry—I just want to invite you to dinner."

"And if I say no?" the Pavilion Master raised an eyebrow.

Logan Sean sneered. "I suggest you cooperate. Otherwise... I can’t promise what might happen."

The moment those words dropped, the terrifying aura of the Grandmasters behind Logan Sean suddenly exploded!

The overwhelming energy swept through the massive Sean estate, creating a fierce windstorm!

"Swish, swish, swish!"

Plus, the hidden gunmen stepped out, forming a line!

Dozens of them surrounded the Pavilion Master, their cold gun barrels aimed straight at her!
