Chapter 335: Chapter 335 - Storage Revealed
I had planned to leave the Divine Alchemist Pavilion to prevent any complications.
But Fifth Elder rejected my thought, shaking his head as he spoke, "We should wait until the Pavilion Master comes back."
"Leaving right now would actually create problems for the Divine Alchemist Pavilion."
I considered this for a moment and gave a nod, "Fine, I’ll stay."
Being a man meant owning up to things, and I wasn’t about to run off and dump trouble on others.
Mya Winona and I then walked out of the medical room together.
Once we got back to our quarters, Mya Winona spoke seriously, "I’ll speak up for you when the Pavilion Master gets back. I’m sure others will back you up too."
I grinned, "Don’t stress about it. Just focus on your alchemy work."
Mya Winona nodded and went back to what she was doing.
The Divine Alchemist Pavilion had tons of herbs in stock. Even the practice herbs they gave to alchemists had decades worth of medicinal strength.
The ones with over a century of medicinal power seemed like nothing special here at the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.
"Since I’m here at the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, I might as well make it worth my while," I thought while sitting in my room.
Based on the Divine Alchemist Pavilion’s rules, Gideon Sonia could get herbs for practice.
With this in mind, I got up and headed toward the storage area.
The Divine Alchemist Pavilion’s storage area was massive. The moment I got close, I could smell the strong herb scent.
Two alchemists stood at the storage entrance, handling registration and herb distribution.
I walked over and told them who I was and what I wanted.
The two alchemists looked at each other, then pulled out a form and set it down in front of me.
"Alchemist Raymond, please fill this out first," they said politely.
I grabbed the form and read through it carefully.
Besides the name registration, there was another section for writing down how many herbs I wanted.
I pointed at this section and asked, "How many can each person get?"
The two alchemists smiled, "Technically, there’s no cap on the amount. But most people usually take somewhere between eight and ten."
I was blown away!
No limit? That seemed pretty crazy!
The Divine Alchemist Pavilion had way more resources than I’d thought possible!
"I’ll take a hundred then," I wrote the number one hundred in that last section right away.
"Sure thing, just give us a minute," one of the alchemists said, standing up and going into the storage area while I sat there waiting.
A few minutes passed before the alchemist came back out.
He looked sorry as he said, "Alchemist Raymond, I’m afraid we can’t give you the herbs."
"Why the hell not?" I asked, confused.
The alchemist seemed lost for words and stumbled around, not able to get anything out.
"An alchemist who’s about to get kicked out still thinks he can get herbs?" Right then, someone else came out of the storage area.
It was Third Elder.
Seeing Third Elder, I got it right away.
I sneered, "So it’s you, you old piece of garbage, stirring up trouble."
When he heard "old piece of garbage," Third Elder’s expression changed completely!
"You...what did you just call me?" Third Elder stared me down.
I sneered, "What, didn’t catch it the first time? Sure, I’ll say it again."
"Old piece of garbage, old creep, old bastard - what’s keeping you alive? Which one do you like best?" I said, looking amused.
Third Elder’s face went blue with rage, and he pointed at me angrily, "You...you...!"
"What about me? I’m your dad, now get lost!" I scoffed.
Third Elder was trembling with fury!
Nobody had ever talked to him like this in all his years at the Divine Alchemist Pavilion!
Third Elder held back his anger, "Mason Raymond, I’m an elder of the Divine Alchemist Pavilion! Don’t you know what respect is!"
I sneered, "Sorry, I really have no clue what respect means."
Realizing he couldn’t win with words, Third Elder sneered, "Smart-mouthed punk, listen up - you’re not getting a single herb today as long as I’m here!"
"Oh yeah? We’ll see about that. I’m taking those herbs today no matter what!" I said coldly.
I then turned to the two alchemists handling the herb distribution, "Go get me a hundred herbs."
The two alchemists looked really uncomfortable, not sure what to do.
"Ha, let’s see who’s got the guts to go," Third Elder said, leaning back with his hands behind him, looking smug.
"Alchemist Raymond, we’re just doing our jobs, plea...please don’t put us in this position," the two alchemists said with awkward smiles.
I nodded, "Don’t worry, I won’t put you in a tough spot, but I’m getting those herbs today no matter what!"
With that, I walked toward the storage area.
"What, you planning to just take them by force?" Third Elder quickly stepped forward and blocked my path.
I looked at him and sneered, "According to Divine Alchemist Pavilion rules, I’m allowed to get herbs. You’ve got no right to stop me."
Third Elder’s face went dark, "Bullshit! If you dare take one step into that storage area, you’ll be branded a rebel! The Law Enforcement Elder won’t go easy on you!"
"Old geezer, quit trying to pin labels on me. You’re calling me a rebel? Who the hell do you think you are?" I sneered.
Third Elder was so mad his whole body shook, but he had nothing to say back.
"Move!" I snapped coldly.
As those words left my mouth, a killing intent burst out!
Third Elder’s face changed again - he felt crushing pressure all over his body, and his internal organs were under assault.
Knowing he was no match for me, Third Elder pointed a finger at me, "Fine, fine, just you wait, you wait!"
With that, Third Elder stormed off.
I snorted, "What a wimp."
After saying that, I walked straight into the storage area.
I had to admit, this storage area was way beyond what I’d imagined!
It wasn’t like what I’d pictured - some basic warehouse.
Actually, this storage area was an entire world, kind of like those big farming sheds you’d see in the countryside.
A huge stretch of land spread out before my eyes.
All kinds of herbs were on display, bursting with life.
I was shocked by what I saw and couldn’t help but say out loud, "These herbs...are they actually alive?"
I looked around and quickly figured out what made this storage area so special.
This storage area was a Giant Array that absorbed natural spiritual energy!
Compared to this array, the spiritual energy gathering formation I’d set up was nothing!
"No wonder the Divine Alchemist Pavilion has such massive storage..." I muttered quietly.
Even regular herbs placed in this environment would grow at an incredible speed!
"What kind of person is the Pavilion Master of this Divine Alchemist Pavilion, to be able to create such a huge and expensive array..." I couldn’t help but think to myself.
