Chapter 331: Chapter 331 - Blue Spirit Fire

When the girl in the red dress revealed the green spiritual fire dancing in her palm, both alchemists’ faces went white with shock!

They quickly moved aside and said, "Please, enter!"

The red-dressed girl pulled back her spiritual fire and walked boldly into the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

As she walked past me, she made a point of looking my way, her gaze carrying clear contempt.

"Look at that Green Spirit Fire! We’re perfect for each other!" Victor Green said with a wide smile.

The girl in red stopped cold and said icily, "A toad dreaming of eating swan meat?"

After dropping that insult, the red-dressed girl marched into the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

Victor Green rolled up his sleeves and said furiously, "Just you wait! I’ll show you what’s what!"

"Stop it, haven’t you embarrassed yourself enough?" I rolled my eyes and said.

Victor Green looked outraged as he said, "Mr. Raymond, that rude woman called you a toad! How can I stand for that!"

"Beat it!" I laughed and gave Victor Green a kick in the rear.

"Let’s not waste any more time, let’s head in." I waved my hand and said.

So Victor Green and I walked into the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

By the time we got inside, the red-dressed girl had already vanished, probably trying to avoid Victor Green.

Once we entered the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, the first thing that struck me was a massive building that looked like a temple.

Throughout the pavilion, I could see herbs and alchemists everywhere.

Many century-old herbs were being used as mere practice materials for alchemists.

Such wasteful luxury was truly amazing to witness.

Soon, an alchemist walked up to us.

He looked at me and asked, "You are?"

I replied politely, "I’m here to compete for the title of alchemist."

"Mason Raymond?" He asked hesitantly.

"That’s me." I nodded.

The alchemist gave a grunt and said, "The Fifth Elder has been expecting you for quite a while. Come with me."

With that, he started walking, and Victor Green and I followed right behind him.

The Divine Alchemist Pavilion was enormous, filled with countless structures.

It wasn’t an overstatement to say the pavilion was like a small city!

Not only did it have both modern and traditional buildings, but it also had mountains, rivers, forests, and trees.

The alchemist guided me through several turns and finally stopped before a manor.

On the manor’s plaque, several large characters read: Elder’s residence.

At the bottom of the plaque was a small number "5."

"Go ahead in." The alchemist said without expression.

I quickly stepped forward and walked into the Elder’s residence.

"You can’t enter." Right then, the alchemist blocked Victor Green.

Victor Green rubbed his nose and said, "Mr. Raymond and I are..."

"Even if you were his father, you still couldn’t enter." The alchemist said coldly.

I waved my hand, "Wait for me outside."

Then, I stepped into the Elder’s residence.

The moment I entered, I caught a powerful scent of medicinal herbs.

Looking around, I saw several hundred-year-old herbs scattered throughout the residence!

These herbs were tossed around carelessly, receiving none of the respect such premium herbs deserved.

"Mason Raymond, you’ve arrived."

Right then, I heard the Fifth Elder’s voice from nearby.

I cupped my hands and said, "I’ve come to see the Fifth Elder."

The Fifth Elder smiled, "No need for formalities, please sit."

The Fifth Elder and I sat down at a stone table.

The Fifth Elder poured me a cup of tea and said casually, "I knew you would show up."

Hearing this, I couldn’t help but smile bitterly, "To tell the truth, I really didn’t want to come at first, but..."

"It’s just that time is running short, and coming from humble beginnings, you lack resources, right?" The Fifth Elder said calmly.

I said with some amazement, "Fifth Elder, how did you figure that out?"

The Fifth Elder laughed loudly, "I’ve heard about what’s happening between you and the Sean family’s Princess!"

My face immediately turned red, looking incredibly embarrassed.

The Fifth Elder, however, was very easygoing. He patted my shoulder and said teasingly, "What’s there to be shy about? Life comes down to either money or women, doesn’t it?"

After the Fifth Elder’s teasing, I felt much more relaxed.

I smiled and said, "I never expected the Fifth Elder to have such a great personality."

The Fifth Elder sighed, "I too once fought for a beauty when I was young. Sadly, she was eventually stolen away by a rich man."

At this point, the Fifth Elder waved his hand and said, "But enough about that."

He continued seriously, "With your talent, joining the Divine Alchemist Pavilion should at least earn you an elder position. However, there’s no precedent in the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, so you’ll have to be patient for now."

I quickly said, "Fifth Elder, you’re being too generous."

Next, the Fifth Elder pulled out a purple token from beside him.

The token had my name carved on it: Mason Raymond.

"I prepared this for you ahead of time. Starting today, you’ll be the highest-ranking alchemist in the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, aside from the elders and Pavilion Master." The Fifth Elder handed me the token.

After taking the token, I couldn’t help but feel surprised.

This was my first time learning that the Divine Alchemist Pavilion’s alchemists had rankings too.

"Just concentrate on staying in the Divine Alchemist Pavilion. I’ll request the Pavilion Master to make you an elder." The Fifth Elder said.

I could tell the Fifth Elder really valued and appreciated me, offering incredibly generous conditions.

Of course, at the heart of it all were my own abilities.

After talking with the Fifth Elder, I discovered that the Divine Alchemist Pavilion was much more powerful than I had thought, with members spread across the globe.

Many directors of top hospitals were probably Divine Alchemist Pavilion members.

In other words, as long as I had the Divine Alchemist Pavilion’s token, I would be a VIP at major hospitals.

"Alright, now I’ll take you to meet the Divine Alchemist Pavilion’s alchemists." The Fifth Elder stood up and said.

"Sounds good." I nodded.

I followed behind the Fifth Elder, reaching the lecture hall.

Many alchemists had already gathered in the lecture hall, waiting for the Fifth Elder and me.

The Fifth Elder brought me to the front, waiting for everyone to assemble.

At that moment, the girl in red also walked over.

She looked at me with contempt still in her eyes.

I didn’t mind much and just smiled at her as a greeting.

About ten minutes later, the Fifth Elder saw that most people had arrived and coughed lightly.

The place went quiet immediately.

The Fifth Elder cleared his throat and said, "Our Divine Alchemist Pavilion has two new members."

After saying that, the Fifth Elder pointed at the girl in red and said, "Mya Winona, Ordinary Alchemist."

Then, the Fifth Elder pointed at me and said, "Mason Raymond, Master Pharmacist."

Instantly, thunderous applause broke out from the crowd. But right then, Mya Winona shouted, "I refuse to accept this!"

The Fifth Elder’s brows furrowed slightly, and he asked curiously, "What’s the matter?"

Mya Winona said coldly, "I have the Green Spirit Fire yet I’m only an Ordinary Alchemist. Why does he get to be a Master Pharmacist? Just because he’s close to you?"

The Fifth Elder couldn’t help but laugh and cry at her words.

"Mason Raymond’s abilities surpass yours, so naturally, he’s a Master Pharmacist," the Fifth Elder said helplessly.

Mya Winona sneered, "Surpass me? How can you say that with such confidence?"

Before the Fifth Elder could respond, I stepped forward.

I smiled slightly and said, "Mya Winona, right?"

Mya Winona snorted and turned her head away.

I continued, "While your Green Spirit Fire is impressive, it’s still not quite as remarkable as mine."

"Because... I have the Blue Spirit Fire."

As those words left my lips, a brilliant blue flame suddenly burst from my palm!
