Chapter 303: Chapter 303 - Truth Revealed

One of my hands had been burned black and looked absolutely terrible.

"This is the Breakthrough Pill?" The crowd glanced at the pill in my hand, slightly puzzled.

I nodded and handed the pill to the little stall owner.

The stall owner took the Breakthrough Pill with a curious expression on his face.

He had never seen a Breakthrough Pill before and had no idea whether the pill was genuine or fake.

"Apothecary, is this Breakthrough Pill real?" The stall owner looked at the alchemist from the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

The alchemist’s face turned extremely ugly, and his fists clenched involuntarily.

He knew very well that this pill was indeed the Breakthrough Pill!

But if he acknowledged it, then he wouldn’t get the Best Thin Armor!

The alchemist glanced at the surrounding crowd and saw that everyone was waiting for his answer.

So, he cleared his throat and said, "This is not a Breakthrough Pill at all. Don’t be fooled by him."

The crowd was shocked by his words!

My brow furrowed, and I gave the alchemist a cold stare.

"If this is not a Breakthrough Pill, then what is it?" I asked coldly.

The alchemist snorted, "If I’m not mistaken, this should be a damaged pill. In other words, your alchemy failed."

"Bullshit!" I shot back coldly.

"You know damn well whether this is a Breakthrough Pill or not! As an alchemist from the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, you’re talking crap for your own benefit and using people’s trust in you!"

"So this is the Divine Alchemist Pavilion? Looks like it’s nothing special!"

As soon as these words fell, the crowd gasped!

Was I publicly trashing the Divine Alchemist Pavilion? Had I lost my mind?

The alchemist was even more pissed, shouting, "Do you even know what you’re saying?! The Divine Alchemist Pavilion isn’t something a punk like you can judge!"

I sneered, "I thought the Divine Alchemist Pavilion was some kind of holy place, but after meeting you, I’m totally let down."

"Ha, like the Divine Alchemist Pavilion needs your opinion!" The alchemist sneered.

Then, he looked at the stall owner and said, "Boss, the call is yours. It’s up to you."

The stall owner was torn. He trusted the Divine Alchemist Pavilion more, but he had personally watched my alchemy process.

That was using my own palm to make a pill! And I controlled the Blue Spirit Fire!

"There... there’s no way to prove it." The stall owner muttered.

He wasn’t on the verge of a breakthrough, so even if he took the Breakthrough Pill, it wouldn’t do anything.

"Boss, I’m just about to hit Grandmaster Peak. Why don’t you give me this Breakthrough Pill, and I’ll test it?" Someone nearby suggested.

The stall owner glared at him and snapped, "In your dreams!"

"Looks like there’s no way to prove it then." The alchemist shrugged, smiling smugly.

The stall owner was clearly struggling, not knowing what to do.

"What, don’t you trust the Divine Alchemist Pavilion?" The alchemist pressed his advantage.

With gritted teeth, the stall owner handed the Breakthrough Pill back to me and said apologetically, "Sorry, I only have this one Best Thin Armor, and I don’t want to gamble, so... I hope you can understand."

I shook my head, took back the Breakthrough Pill, and said, "It’s fine, I get it."

After that, I put away the Breakthrough Pill and turned to leave.

"Young man, may I take a look at this pill?"

Just then, a voice sounded beside me.

I turned around and saw a smiling middle-aged man in his forties looking at me.

Upon seeing this man, the alchemist from the Divine Alchemist Pavilion’s face went white!

"El... Elder, what brings you here...?" The alchemist asked quickly.

An elder? This middle-aged man was actually an elder from the Divine Alchemist Pavilion?

"Greetings to the elder of the Divine Alchemist Pavilion!" Everyone started bowing to the elder.

Without paying them any attention, the elder looked at me and asked again, "Young man, may I take a look at this pill?"

After this mess, I had a really bad impression of the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

So, with no expression, I said, "I think I’ll pass. No need, since all crows are black."

Saying this, I got ready to leave.

The elder quickly stopped me and said, "Young man, there might be some mix-ups here, and he alone can’t speak for the whole Divine Alchemist Pavilion."

"Plus, our Divine Alchemist Pavilion never lacks pills. You won’t lose anything by just letting me have a look."

I frowned for a moment, seeming swayed by the elder’s words.

So, I handed the pill to the elder.

After getting the pill, the elder looked it over carefully.

He had a weird expression, and kept glancing at me.

"From the elder’s look, seems like the Breakthrough Pill really was a dud." Someone nearby muttered.

I couldn’t help but sneer inside.

The Divine Alchemist Pavilion really wasn’t as holy as I’d thought.

"Strange, very strange." The elder finally spoke.

"Elder, how is it? This pill is fake, right?" Someone asked eagerly.

The elder stayed quiet, rubbing his chin like he was thinking.

I was getting impatient and said coldly, "So you also think it’s fake, right? Give me back my pill, and if there’s nothing else, I’m leaving now."

The elder quickly waved his hands, "No, no, you’ve got it wrong. I was just amazed at how you’re not from the Divine Alchemist Pavilion, yet your alchemy skills are so damn impressive."

At these words, everyone was stunned!

"Elder, do you mean... this really is a Breakthrough Pill?" The stall owner asked anxiously. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

The elder nodded slightly, "Not only is it a Breakthrough Pill, but it’s also an extremely well-made Breakthrough Pill!"

"With skills like this, even in the entire Divine Alchemist Pavilion, there wouldn’t be many who could beat you!"
