Chapter 256: Chapter 256 - Cursed Pendant

When Watson Thompson saw my expression, she jumped back startled.

She clutched her chest. "You... you pervert, what are you trying to do?"

I rolled my eyes. "Don’t worry, I’m not interested in brats like you."

"My condition is for you to eat properly and listen to your dad," I said, rolling my eyes again.

Watson perked up instantly. "Really?" she asked excitedly.

"Of course, but if your dad says you’re disobedient, I won’t give it to you," I laughed.

"I’ll listen, I’ll definitely listen!" Watson ran energetically to the dining table and started eating heartily. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Jasper Thompson gave me a thumbs up. "You really know how to handle her, I can’t manage her."

I laughed. "Every age has its own thoughts, imposing our ideas on her might not be effective."

Jasper Thompson nodded thoughtfully.

Then Jasper Thompson asked, "So where are you going to get the concert tickets?"

"I know Kathleen Drake, so getting two tickets shouldn’t be a problem," I said.

Hearing this, Jasper Thompson’s admiration for me increased.

After dinner, Victor Green and I prepared to leave.

As we were about to go, Watson kept saying, "Mason Raymond, don’t forget, it would be best to get a few more tickets!"

"Don’t worry," I waved my hand.

The car sped home.

I went online to check and found that Kathleen Drake’s concert was about two days later.

After calculating the time, it turned out to be the day when Kathleen Drake would come to get her medicine.

"If my guess is correct, she should take the initiative to find me," I thought to myself.

After that, I checked the venue of Kathleen Drake’s concert online and couldn’t help but frown.

"This doesn’t sound very good. It’s nothing but chaos," I muttered softly.

At this moment, Victor Green entered the room.

He said mysteriously, "Mr. Raymond, there is a beautiful woman looking for you outside."

"Let her in," I said indifferently.

Victor Green pretended to be surprised. "It seems that you two already know each other. What, an X-friend?"

"Get lost!" I laughed and scolded and pretended to kick him.

Victor Green obediently left.

After a while, Kathleen Drake entered from outside.

As always, Kathleen Drake was wrapped tightly.

I couldn’t help but wonder how Victor Green had figured out she was beautiful.

After sitting down, Kathleen Drake removed her face mask and glasses.

"Oh, I can finally breathe," Kathleen Drake gasped.

I glanced at her. "Here for the medicine?"

Kathleen Drake rolled her eyes. "What, can’t I visit you without needing medicine? Can’t I miss you?"

"No," I replied calmly.

"You, you don’t know how to appreciate feelings! You don’t think I really miss you, do you?" Kathleen Drake said angrily.

"If you don’t, that’s for the best," I said expressionlessly.

"You!" Kathleen Drake opened her mouth, but had nothing to say.

"Forget it, forget it, just give me the medicine quickly," Kathleen Drake said impatiently.

However, my eyes unconsciously drifted towards Kathleen Drake’s chest.

Having noticed my gaze, Kathleen Drake immediately covered her chest and rolled her eyes. "Men are really two-faced. How about it, have you been conquered by your sister’s figure?"

I ignored her and reached out towards Kathleen Drake’s chest.

Kathleen Drake panicked and a blush flashed across her face.

Her heart thumped wildly, and her body trembled slightly.

Although she had some feelings for me, this... this was too fast, wasn’t it?

As Kathleen Drake’s thoughts raced, I reached out and pulled off the pendant from her neck.

"Who gave this to you?" I stared at the pendant and asked with a frown.

Kathleen Drake quickly took back the pendant, her face full of alarm. "This pendant can’t be touched. I got it from a Master, and it brings me good luck. If you like it, I can take you to get one for yourself."

"A Master?" I raised an eyebrow.

This pendant carried dark energy with a trace of blood. How could it possibly bring good luck?

"You might have been deceived," I said, carefully examining the pendant, feeling that it was not simple.

Kathleen Drake rolled her eyes. "You’re talking nonsense. This pendant can make me a big success! It’s very effective! And it has indeed brought me good luck!"

After saying that, Kathleen Drake held the pendant to her chest as if afraid someone would snatch it away.

"Do you really believe this thing brings you good luck?" I asked with a sneer.

"Of course!" Kathleen Drake said seriously.

I reached out my hand. "Give me the pendant."

"Huh?" Kathleen Drake was stunned.

"Don’t worry, I won’t steal your pendant and I don’t need it," I said.

Kathleen Drake frowned slightly, seeming a little conflicted.

A moment later, she obediently handed the pendant to me.

Upon receiving it, I immediately activated my technique.

There were countless mystical arts left in my inheritance. I could easily pick one to drive away demons and ward off evil.

I dripped a drop of my blood essence on the pendant.

The moment the blood fell, thick smoke erupted from the pendant.

Waves of pitch-black dark energy gushed out!

Finally, the dark energy slowly formed horrifying human heads in the air!

The human heads looked terrifying, even more so than the most horrifying horror movies!

Kathleen Drake’s face turned pale when she saw these ghostly heads, and she nearly collapsed!

"What... what is this..." Kathleen Drake stammered.

"This is what’s hidden in your pendant," I said coldly.

The ghostly heads let out a series of horrifying screams in the air, as if trying to devour me.

"A mere trick and you dare to act arrogantly in front of me?" I narrowed my eyes and suddenly opened my mouth, swallowing the ghostly heads whole!

The huge ghostly heads were swallowed in one bite by me!

The scene gradually became quiet, and Kathleen Drake was already frightened out of her wits.

Her eyes, filled with fear, looked at me, and she even moved a few steps away from me.

"So, are you scared?" I raised an eyebrow and asked.

Kathleen Drake swallowed her saliva and whispered, "You... you actually swallowed it?"

I smiled faintly. "For you, this is an evil object. For me, it’s a nourishing sacred item."

At this point, I paused. I looked coldly at Kathleen Drake. "Do you know the consequences of wearing this thing?"

Kathleen Drake frantically shook her head, her small face full of injustice.

I said coldly, "If you hadn’t met me today, this thing would have taken your life."
