Chapter 131: Chapter 131 - Treacherous Offer

"Cousin, it’s him!" Yellow Hair pointed at my nose as I entered the door.

As soon as he finished speaking, a young man walked over.

He rubbed the ring on his finger and slowly approached me.

"So you’re the one who hit my cousin?" The young man looked me up and down.

"Why don’t you ask him why he got beaten?" I sneered.

"I don’t care about that. You dared to hit my cousin; I’ll cripple you today!" The young man snorted.

I guessed this was another unreasonable person and waved my hand, "You’d better call Marshall Clive over."

The young man was stunned and then angrily said, "Our Mr. Clive is very busy. You think you can just call him over?"

"If you don’t call him, I will." I took out my phone and made a call to Marshall Clive.

Soon, Marshall Clive answered the phone on the other end.

He enthusiastically said on the phone, "Mr. Raymond, why are you calling me so late at night?"

I replied, "Mr. Clive, do you have a Midnight KTV under your control?"

Marshall Clive was taken aback and quickly said, "Yes, I’m at Midnight KTV right now. Do you want to come? I’ll arrange everything for you right away!"

"No, I’m already at Midnight KTV. Your manager is threatening to cripple me." I sneered.

Marshall Clive’s voice changed instantly. He hurriedly asked, "Mr. Raymond, where are you? I’ll be right there!"

"Room 888," I said.

"Alright, I’ll be right there!" Marshall Clive said anxiously.

After hanging up the phone, I looked at Yellow Hair’s cousin.

"Marshall Clive will be here soon," I said indifferently.

"Heh, I think you must be wasted. Who do you think you are? Mr. Clive isn’t someone you can just call!" The young man sneered.

I didn’t bother talking to him any further and stopped speaking.

Yellow Hair’s cousin snorted. He waved his hand and said, "Come, let’s loosen his muscles and bones."

"Better yet, break his legs!" Yellow Hair said viciously.

"No problem," his cousin said calmly.

Seven or eight burly men walked towards me. They looked ferocious, clearly not easy to deal with.

Just then, the door of the room was suddenly pushed open.

Marshall Clive stood at the entrance, panting for breath.

Upon seeing Marshall Clive, Yellow Hair’s cousin was taken aback.

He hurriedly went up to greet him, bowing and saying, "Mr. Clive, why are you here?"

Marshall Clive ignored him and quickly walked up to me.

"Mr. Raymond, are you alright?" Marshall Clive said with some panic.

I laughed, "I’m fine. Mr. Clive, your KTV manager is very domineering."

Marshall Clive’s face changed color. I had just saved his life, and now such a thing had happened. Marshall Clive couldn’t help but panic.

"Mr. Raymond, don’t worry. I won’t let him off easily!" Marshall Clive wryly smiled.

Then, Marshall Clive turned to the manager.

By this time, the manager had already been scared out of his wits.

He looked terrified and said, "Mr. Clive... I didn’t know he knew you... Please... please spare me..." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Marshall Clive coldly said, "Spare you? I think you’ve gone mad with arrogance, even daring to offend Mr. Raymond!"

The manager quickly knelt in front of me, begging desperately, "Mr. Raymond, I was wrong. Please forgive me this time..."

"Alright, you guys take him out." Marshall Clive impatiently waved his hand.

"Yes, Mr. Clive." The seven or eight burly men immediately changed their faces and dragged the manager out without another word.

Not far away, Yellow Hair was trembling with fear, as he never expected me to have such a huge backing!

"Bro, I... I was wrong..." Yellow Hair uttered with trembling lips.

But to his surprise, I didn’t even pay attention to him.

Obviously, I didn’t take Yellow Hair seriously, no matter how much he ranted, he was still ignored.

Yellow Hair felt extremely humiliated but didn’t dare to say more.

Marshall Clive approached me and said, "Mr. Raymond, let’s go to the private room next door to chat."

I glanced at the half-dead Violet Damon on the couch, and shook my head, "Forget it, I have some things to do, I won’t chat for long."

Seeing this, Marshall Clive didn’t say more, and nodded in agreement.

Then, I picked up Violet Damon and left the KTV.

"Do you know where her house is?" After getting in the car, I looked at Valerie Stanley and asked.

Valerie Stanley said with a bit of surprise, "Aren’t you her brother-in-law? You don’t even know where her house is?"

"I’ve never been there," I said expressionlessly.

Valerie Stanley secretly stuck out her tongue, and then said, "Then I’ll take you there."

I agreed, and then gestured to Victor Green to start the car.

——

Colton Family Villa.

"Dad, we absolutely cannot let this go. We can’t give Water Dragon Cave to Mason Raymond!" Bernard Colton gritted his teeth.

Blaze Colton glanced at him and coldly snorted, "Of course. I’ve had someone check in Capital City recently and confirmed that the Sean family won’t interfere."

Hearing this, Bernard Colton’s eyes lit up, and he said excitedly, "Really?"

"Absolutely." A glint of cold light flashed in Blaze Colton’s eyes.

"Since the Sean family won’t interfere, I won’t let him off the hook!" Blaze Colton’s face was filled with fury.

The reason why the Colton Family had been quiet for so long was that they had sent someone to Capital City.

After confirming that the Sean family wouldn’t interfere, Blaze Colton was completely relieved.

"Mr. Colton, someone named Apollo Leah wants to see you." Just then, one of his men walked in and said.

"Apollo Leah?" Hearing this name, Blaze Colton frowned slightly.

"Isn’t he Marshall Clive’s man?"

"Heh, that was in the past." Just then, Apollo Leah walked in from outside the door.

He said with a faint smile, "Mr. Colton, it’s been a long time."

Blaze Colton sized up Apollo Leah, feeling a bit nervous for a moment.

That was because among all the doorkeepers of the Colton Family, only Zachary Ortega could handle Apollo Leah.

Seemingly noticing Blaze Colton’s worry, Apollo Leah chuckled and said, "Mr. Colton, don’t be nervous. I’m here to pledge my loyalty."

"Pledge your loyalty?" Blaze Colton was even more confused.

"Aren’t you Marshall Clive’s man? As far as I know, Marshall Clive treated you pretty well." Blaze Colton asked suspiciously.

Apollo Leah snorted, "A good bird chooses a tree to perch on, not to mention that Marshall Clive will never have any significant development. He is short-sighted and doesn’t recognize true talent, so I’ve decided not to help him anymore."

Apollo Leah’s shamelessness was indeed shocking. It was clear that he had been kicked out of the Clive family, yet he acted as if he had abandoned them.

"Why should I believe you? Who knows if you were sent by Marshall Clive." Blaze Colton narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

Apollo Leah laughed heartily, "What kind of person am I, Apollo Leah? As soon as I wave my arm, countless followers will come! Moreover, I’ve given up on Marshall Clive."

Pausing briefly, Apollo Leah said with a faint smile, "As far as I know, you have a grudge with a man named Mason Raymond, right?"

Blaze Colton nodded. The news of this incident had spread all over South City and even Chuzzle, so it wasn’t strange for Apollo Leah to know about it.

Apollo Leah chuckled, "To be honest, I also dislike him and have decided to take up the cause of justice and help the Colton Family regain face!"
