Chapter 122: Chapter 122 - Power Display

My sudden display of enormous strength drained the color from the three disciples’ faces!

Too late for them to back out now! They could only brace themselves and face me head-on!

"Boom!"

As I unleashed my force, the three men went flying!

They crashed to the ground with pale faces, some even coughing up blood immediately!

Bernard Colton jumped up, staring at me in shock, and exclaimed, "How is this possible!"

He couldn’t believe my strength had improved so dramatically overnight.

I gave Blaze Colton a cold look and said, "I’ll be leaving if there’s nothing else."

Blaze Colton shouted angrily, "Stop!"

I paused and sneered, "Is there something else?"

Ignoring me, Blaze yelled, "Zachary Ortega, cripple him for me!"

After his roar, the room fell silent with no response.

"Zachary Ortega?" Blaze frowned, turned around, and found Zachary Ortega sprawled on the sofa, dead to the world.

Blaze’s face turned livid.

He had agreed to act according to the situation, but Zachary had fallen asleep at this crucial moment!

"Wake him up for me!" Blaze said through clenched teeth.

The two people beside Zachary hurried over.

But no matter how they shouted, Zachary didn’t stir, sleeping like a log.

"Mr. Colton, Zachary was exhausted last night and probably won’t wake up for a while..." The two men said awkwardly.

Blaze was furious but helpless!

This was Zachary’s weakness: once asleep, he was like a corpse, impossible to wake. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Seeing this, I couldn’t help but laugh.

"In that case, I’ll take my leave." I glanced at Blaze and swaggered out of the Colton family residence.

As soon as I stepped outside, I spotted a Land Rover Range Rover parked at the gate.

Upon seeing me, a middle-aged man hurriedly exited the car and rushed toward me.

"Mr. Raymond!" The middle-aged man reached me and warmly shook my hand.

I wasn’t surprised by this situation; I’d almost expected it.

"And you are?" I asked calmly.

The middle-aged man handed over his business card and said with a smile, "My name is Marshall Clive. I’d like to make friends with you. I wonder if you could give me the honor?"

"Marshall Clive?" I thought carefully about the name; it seemed familiar, and he must be influential in South City.

"Mr. Raymond, I’ve prepared a banquet, and I’d like to invite you to have lunch with me," Marshall Clive continued.

I was in an excellent position to expand my network, so I nodded in agreement.

Once we were in the car, it sped toward the restaurant.

Actually, I knew well that the Clive family wasn’t the only group wanting to win me over; multiple forces were at play.

Their goals couldn’t be simple; most likely, they wanted to leverage my connections or use the Sean family behind me.

However, I wasn’t worried; in the end, it might not be clear who would be using whom.

Through our brief conversation, I learned that Marshall Clive’s status was similar to Woods Walters in River City.

The difference was that Marshall Clive’s position far exceeded Woods’s, and his business had expanded nationwide.

In South City, Marshall Clive also backed a group of disciples who not only didn’t fear the Colton family but had been secretly competing with them for years.

For me, Marshall Clive was a good connection to make.

"Mr. Raymond, the fact that you managed to walk out of the Colton family’s house really took us by surprise," Marshall Clive said with a laugh.

"Old fox Blaze Colton must have been worried about the Sean family behind you, right?" someone nearby added.

I glanced at them and replied honestly, "The Sean family won’t interfere, and they won’t pay attention to me. I was able to leave the Colton family purely because their men weren’t up to standard."

"Haha, Mr. Raymond is right, indeed!" Marshall Clive laughed in agreement.

Despite saying this, his words clearly showed he didn’t believe me.

In Marshall Clive’s opinion, I just wanted to satisfy my own ego.

I understood their thoughts but said nothing more.

Zachary Ortega was the most powerful person in the entire Colton family.

Although I didn’t get to face him, I didn’t feel I would lose to Zachary.

The car quickly arrived at a restaurant, and as we entered, several people were already waiting at the table.

I swept the room with a glance, counting six people. Among them, three were Inner Strength Experts with formidable prowess.

One elderly man’s strength was likely equal to Zachary Ortega’s.

The other two weren’t inferior to Blaze Colton.

As we sat down, Marshall Clive laughed and said, "Let me introduce you all. This is Mr. Mason Raymond, who just won against Bernard Colton of the Colton family last night."

"Haha, Mr. Clive, you don’t need to introduce too much. Mr. Raymond is very popular right now," someone remarked.

"You’re the first one in South City to slap the Colton family in the face in front of so many people!"

Hearing the praise, I smiled and thanked them one by one.

That was when the elderly man spoke up.

He looked at me and said indifferently, "To publicly challenge Bernard Colton, you indeed have courage."

Hearing the elderly man’s words, everyone immediately fell silent, all eyes turning to him.

From their reactions, this elderly man clearly held an extraordinary status in the Clive family.

"Mr. Raymond, let me introduce you. This is Apollo Leah, one of the Clive family’s disciple shareholders," Marshall Clive said with a smile.

"Mr. Leah is a legend in South City; apart from the fool Zachary Ortega, I don’t think Mr. Leah has ever lost, right?" someone laughed.

Marshall Clive nodded slightly, "Indeed, I had to offer ten percent of the shares to keep Mr. Leah."

"It’s an honor to meet you, Mr. Leah." I politely nodded at him.

Apollo Leah scrutinized me and said, "I’ve seen the video of you fighting Bernard Colton. Although not bad, there were numerous flaws. If I were Bernard, you wouldn’t have lasted a single move."

Hearing Apollo Leah’s arrogant words, I felt somewhat displeased, but due to his status, I didn’t show it.

Apollo Leah continued, "At the age of thirty, you’re only a ninth-rank Inner Strength practitioner. Your potential is quite ordinary."

"However, in light of Mr. Clive’s face, I can take you as my disciple and elevate you to the level of an Inner Strength Master," Apollo Leah said indifferently.
