A few minutes later, Xu Feng gave the authority to Kong Ming to immediately transport the rocks that were previously dug from a gold mine to be brought over to the defense border.
Once Kong Ming left the scene with the soldiers, Xu Feng told the scouts to keep him updated.
"If the Colossus armies have any sudden movement, you are to immediately report the incident. If they crossed the red lines, sound the alarm." He instructed.
"Yes, Sir!"
The soldiers who were chosen as scouts saluted. Their blood was boiling as they finally could put their training into use.
This was what they had trained so hard for!
Their enthusiasm surprised even Xu Feng. Usually, it would be rare to find people to even volunteer for the role of a scout.
After all, the scout was a perilous duty that put them in close proximity to danger as they needed to check and spy on their enemy’s movement.
If they were to be discovered, chances were that they would most likely die.
Hence, Xu Feng was skeptical that he would have enough scouts to work for him and thought he might need to summon his Vanguard Guild members.
But to his absolute dismay, almost every soldier volunteered to be a scout.
The others who couldn’t volunteer were excluded because their eyesight lacked enough farsight to be a proper scout, and they didn’t want to drag the team down.
They understood their limitations and chose to be the support team.
’What a great military team.’ At this point, Xu Feng had reasonable doubts that they had been nurtured by Kong Ming in secret.
After all, their respect for Kong Ming was very discreet. But not enough to deceive his eyes that the soldiers respected Kong Ming highly.
And Kong Ming probably said something to the soldiers about listening to him. Otherwise, these soldiers couldn’t possibly be so respectful and obey his orders without any complaints.
’If Kong Ming could be recruited into the Army Camp I control, then that would be a dream team.’ Xu Feng’s desire to obtain Kong Ming intensified.

That was the only part he could think of, which may or may not cause players to forever lose a Kong Ming strategist.
In the historical context, even Liu Bei was required to visit Kong Ming three times in a row to recruit the latter.
So it only made sense that the Divine World would adapt to a similar situation and make the players work hard to recruit a godly talented individual.
Sometime later, a soldier approached him and saluted.
"Sir, two people are outside the base and claimed they have a meeting with you." They reported.
’Two people claimed to have a meeting with me?’ It took him a few seconds to recall what was going on. Veronica had previously notified him that two people would be meeting with him and broadcasting the event live as exclusive.
And when he asked for the specifics, Veronica cut him off, keeping him in suspense.
"Bring them over here." Xu Feng calmly said.
"Yes, Sir!" The soldier saluted and retreated to the scene.
A few minutes later, two women were brought over to him.
"Guild Leader!" They both excitedly called out to him.
’Guild Leader?’ Xu Feng raised an eyebrow. The two of them didn’t belong to any guild, so why did they address him as if he were their guild leader?
’Wait a second.. Their appearance.’
Without a thought, Xu Feng waved his hand to dismiss the soldier. By the time the soldier left, he glanced at the two women.
"Are you perhaps Cute Joy and Little Honey?" He remembered their expression because he had just watched the Divine News very recently.
"Yes, Guild Leader!" The two of them nodded and proceeded to reveal their real name.
"My real name is Ling Jingxuan," Cute Joy smiled cheerfully.
"And I’m Luo Li." Little Honey also introduced herself.
Xu Feng nodded his head.
"I suppose I don’t need to introduce myself, right?" He joked lightly. His memory finally jolted, and he realized why the two referred to him as Guild Leader despite not being a member of the Vanguard Guild.
In truth, they indeed belonged to the guild, but just not on official documents.
They were acting as spies, so it would completely defeat the purpose if they were to be members of his guild.
Of course, suspicions could still be raised when they managed to land an exclusive broadcast with the Vanguard Guild, but that was about the extent.
Nobody would care so much about two female anchors when their backing was the Divine News channel. The Divine News channel was a major category of the RSH News company.
"You can just call me Lin Feng." Xu Feng calmly said.
"Then, Sir Feng it is." Cute Joy exclaimed.
"The soldier from earlier addressed you as Sir, so it’s only right we do the same." Little Honey chimed in and said.
"Suit yourself, Cute Joy and Little Honey." He didn’t bother with this topic and called their alias. He was positive that they were only willing to reveal their names to him because of his identity. Otherwise, the two would have kept their name a secret.
After all, doxxing and impersonation had gotten rampant as of late since the popularity of the Divine World exploded.
