"Don’t listen to her, wrap it up." Sophie Wilson forcefully stopped Lucy Wells.
"Just consider it a little token from me, it’s not for you, it’s for my brother." Sophie Wilson affirmed.
"For your brother?" Lucy Wells was puzzled by Sophie Wilson’s words, but her confusion lasted only a moment. She quickly declined, "That’s too much, really."
"That’s how it is. I’m giving it to my brother, don’t influence our sibling relationship." Sophie Wilson glared at Lucy Wells, "If you do this, should I accept things my brother gives me in the future?"
"This..." Lucy Wells couldn’t refuse anymore and had to accept it, "Sophie, you’ve gone to such expense."
"What? It’s just a few lipsticks." Sophie Wilson waved it off, smiling mischievously, "No worries, I’ll ’extort’ it back from you and my brother later."
Lucy Wells smiled and didn’t say much more.
Once the sales assistant finished packing, Sophie Wilson stored all the big and small bags in the mall.
She didn’t want to carry them up to the eighth-floor restaurant!
So tiring!
Upon reaching the restaurant, Sophie Wilson happily started ordering like crazy; she needed to replenish her energy after expending so much in the morning.
"This, this, and this..." After ordering, Sophie Wilson looked at Lucy Wells and asked, "Do you want to eat anything else?"
"No, that’s enough, that’s enough!" Lucy Wells quickly handed the menu to the server.
The two of them could finish this.
"Don’t worry, we’ll definitely manage." Sophie Wilson said with a smile.
She never orders excessively when eating out; she’s not used to leaving food waste, so she usually orders a portion first and adds more if needed.
It’s shameful to waste food!
Of course, she was really hungry this time, so she ordered as much as she normally would.
At most, she’d just be a bit stuffed.
After they finished eating, sure enough, nothing was left. Lucy Wells gave Sophie Wilson a thumbs up: "You’re amazing."
Sophie Wilson took a sip of her drink and chuckled: "I’m confident. Don’t I know your appetite? It won’t exceed too much."
"Sophie, how come you eat so much but don’t gain weight?" Lucy Wells curiously asked.
"Because I burn a lot of energy." Sophie Wilson said with a smile, "I have fitness equipment at home and work out every day."
"What did you think? You really thought I naturally don’t gain weight?" Sophie Wilson couldn’t help but roll her eyes, "I wish, but unfortunately, I don’t have that gift!"
"So you’re just like everyone else." Lucy Wells couldn’t help but laugh, indeed, girls are always thinking of ways to maintain their figure.
"Where are we going this afternoon?" Sophie Wilson asked.
"Just checking out some small stuff, all located in this mall. It’ll just take about an hour, and then we can head home." Lucy Wells didn’t plan on exhausting Sophie in one day.
"Alright." Sophie Wilson nodded, no problem.
After finishing their meal, they sat and rested for a while, more than half an hour, before continuing to shop.
However, what surprised Sophie Wilson was running into someone—someone almost forgotten—Sophie Lee.
Since the bidding process, this person hadn’t appeared within their sight.
