Chapter 1090: Chapter 1092: Thomas Shannon, You Madman!

"Joanne, calm down." Lucifer pulled her into his embrace, one hand gently patting her back.

His deep blue eyes flashed with a vicious chill. "What he said might not be true. Whether you’re pregnant or not, we’ll know once we go to the hospital for an examination. The medicine Angus prescribed for you will have side effects; maybe it’s just the side effects of the medicine."

"Right, it’s the side effects from the medicine Angus prescribed."

The color of blood gradually returned to Sophie Sullivan’s pale face. She nodded. "We’ll go to the hospital now."

"Okay."

Thomas Shannon sneered. He suddenly伸出hand, grabbed Sophie Sullivan’s wrist, and yanked her hard into his embrace. "Good, we’ll go right now. I want to see how you can still deny it!"

Sophie Sullivan was practically dragged out by him. He was tall with long legs, and his steps were fast and wide. Sophie Sullivan stumbled after him, her wrist aching from his grip.

Lucifer’s brows furrowed hard. Damn Thomas Shannon, how dare he treat his Cecilia Branford like this.

"Leo, stop him!"

"Yes, Your Highness."

Charlie River had already made preparations; before coming, he had used Lucifer’s name to invite the imposter over.

Thomas Shannon disliked how slowly Sophie Sullivan was walking, so he simply bent down and swept her up horizontally into his embrace, striding quickly out of the Restaurant.

Sophie Sullivan was so furious she started punching and kicking him. "Thomas Shannon, you madman! Put me down right now, I’m not going with you."

"You’d better shut up. Say one more word and bear the consequences yourself!"

Almost as soon as he carried Sophie Sullivan into the car, the black Rolls-Royce fleet arrived at the Restaurant entrance.

Such an ostentatious display—one look and you could tell the imposter had arrived.

Sophie Sullivan’s mouth was covered by Thomas Shannon’s hand. He lowered his voice and smiled coldly and wickedly. "If you don’t want her to find you, then keep quiet."

Sophie Sullivan’s eyes widened, the cold color in her eyes gradually condensing, finally gathering into a dazzling, icy glint.

It was him.

He was the one who brought the imposter here.

Lucifer had just chased out of the Restaurant when he saw the imposter getting out of the car and walking toward him. The imposter’s lips curved into a smile. "Lucifer, did I keep you waiting long?"

Waiting long?

He pressed his lips together without speaking and shifted his gaze to those black Lincoln cars.

The imposter followed his line of sight, suddenly furrowing her brows, deep confusion surfacing in her eyes. "Who is that?"

"Miss Cecilia Branford, should we go take a look?" the bodyguard asked.

"Go. I want to know who he is."

The bodyguard, having received the order, immediately turned and walked toward the black Lincoln.

However, just as the bodyguard approached and was about to speak, the black Lincoln sped away in a trail of dust.

The imposter felt she had been provoked. Looking across the whole of Country F, anyone who saw Cecilia Branford had to come up to greet her, trying to climb up the relation and make connections.

That person was really putting on airs!

He actually brushed off her face.

"Stop that car for me!"

The imposter sneered with incomparable arrogance. After hearing this, the bodyguard immediately moved to drive over and intercept.

Lucifer’s facial color darkened. "Cecilia Branford, what do you think you’re doing?"

The imposter, who had been secretly proud, heard this icy voice and instinctively looked at Lucifer first. What was wrong with him?

How did he dare use that kind of tone with her?

And what was that expression on his face? Dissatisfaction?

"Lucifer, what’s wrong with you?" The imposter took two steps forward, standing in front of him, tilting her head up slightly to look at him. "I’m just stopping someone, and you’re unhappy? Lucifer, you weren’t like this in the past. Even if one day I killed someone, the one handing me the gun would definitely be you."
