Chapter 163: The Beast Berserker Evolution
After training relentlessly for two days—which felt like God knows how many years inside the dimensional training room—Dennis lay flat on the empty floor, gasping for air. His chest heaved violently as he struggled to catch his breath. His long hair was a tangled mess, and his eyes were tightly shut. Sami sat beside him, watching his face.
"Are you alright, Master?" Sami asked.
"No... I’m not... whoaaah... I’m exhausted... I feel like I’m going to die," Dennis answered, his voice shaky and breathless.
"That’s training for you, Master. But don’t worry; when you wake up in a moment, you will be in peak condition," Sami said.
"What... what level will I be when I wake up?" Dennis stammered, turning his head toward her.
"Hmm... you’ll see soon enough," Sami answered casually.
"Huh... why are you being so secretive?" Dennis countered.
"It wouldn’t be any fun if I told you right away. Oh, by the way, there will be a slight change in you," Sami said.
"What kind of change?" Dennis asked, confused.
"You are no longer a High Human... you are a High Bestial Human," Sami answered.
"Huh... what does that even mean?" Dennis asked.
"It’ll be clearer if you just see for yourself later," Sami replied.
"Anyway, how long were we in here?" Dennis asked.
"About 1,120 years, if calculated by the time outside," Sami answered.
"Huh... seriously? That’s a long time... but it doesn’t look like I’ve aged at all," Dennis remarked.
"Of course not. Only your consciousness is here; your body is currently sleeping in the council room," Sami explained.
"Hmm... I see. Well, whatever... can I rest for a bit before I wake up?" Dennis asked.
"Go ahead, Master. There are still 20 minutes left on the outside before you wake," Sami answered.
"Alright," Dennis replied.
Dennis closed his eyes and faced the ceiling again, relaxing his entire aching body until he was motionless, regulating his breathing. 20 minutes later, "ugh," Dennis opened his eyes slowly. He immediately looked around and realized he was back in the council room. He sat up on the bed and stared at his hands, opening and closing his fists repeatedly. As he looked around again, there was a change he couldn’t quite put into words; it was as if the room appeared slightly smaller from his perspective. Suddenly, a holographic screen flickered to life in front of his face.

"Wow... straight to level 82... I’ve caught up to that Ray guy," Dennis muttered in his head.
[That is exactly right, Master.]
"Thank God. If anyone threatens my family or messes with our lives now, I can actually do something about it," Dennis said, a wide grin spreading across his face.
[That is true, Master, but you might want to look in a mirror first.]
"Huh?" Dennis stood up. He walked out of the council room and through the basement, heading upstairs to the second floor. He made his way to the master bedroom, went inside, and walked straight into the bathroom. When he stood in front of the vanity and saw his reflection, he jumped. He had a thick, messy beard, and a pair of wolf ears sat on top of his head—he realized then that his ears had actually moved up there. But when he turned around to check, he didn’t see a tail.
"Wait... why don’t I have a tail? I thought if I turned into something like Donna, I’d have one," Dennis said.
[It is different, Master. You have transcended the High Human stage to become a High Bestial Human—a human who possesses minor animal traits but is not half-beast. That is distinct from Donna, who is a pure beastman.]
"Hmm... I see. But... for some reason, this just looks ridiculous... good grief," Dennis thought to himself.
"Click."
Suddenly, the bathroom door swung open. Dennis turned to see Dulcia walking in. The moment she saw him, she froze. In her eyes stood a man with a massive, muscular build, messy long hair, a thick beard, and wolf ears—not to mention his tattered, grimy clothes. Dulcia immediately dropped into a combat stance, her expression turning deadly serious.
"Who are you?" she shouted.
"Wait... it’s me..."
Before Dennis could even finish his sentence, "blam," Dulcia lunged with a punch aimed straight at his face. But the Dennis of today was a completely different beast; he casually caught her fist, the impact echoing with a loud thud. Seeing her punch neutralized, Dulcia was stunned for a split second before Dennis pulled her in and wrapped her in a tight embrace. She struggled at first, but Dennis silenced her with a kiss. When he finally pulled away, Dulcia looked up at him.
"Baby?" she asked.
"Yeah... it’s me. Sorry about the mess, haha," Dennis answered.
Dulcia immediately hugged him tight and kissed him again. Suddenly, Daisy—holding Destiny—along with Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, and Daphne appeared behind Dulcia. It seemed they had teleported to her location together. They were all visibly shocked, especially Destiny, who looked terrified at the sight of him. When Dennis saw Destiny, he instinctively reached out to take her, but the baby looked like she was about to burst into tears. As Dennis’s hand stretched toward her, Daisy immediately backed away, and the others moved to shield her.
"Hey... it’s Baby, don’t attack!" Dulcia called out.
"Huh?" Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, and Daphne exclaimed as they began to examine Dennis more closely.
"Whoa... honey, what happened to you?" Daisy asked.
"It’s only been two days... why is your beard so thick, my husband? And... what are those ears?" Daphne asked.
"Shocking," Dahlia added, patting her chest with a flat expression.
"Wow... did you turn into one of my kind, Sugar?" Donna asked, circling him.
"Hmm... I actually like this look on you... don’t change it, hon," Deborah said, stepping closer.
"You... grew a little taller, didn’t you, dear?" Daphne asked, confused, as she stood next to Dennis to measure his height.
To answer his seven wives’ questions, Dennis explained everything that had happened during the evolution process—commonly known as the third awakening—with Sami’s help. Sami further detailed the training process and even displayed Dennis’s power stats to the seven of them using a large holographic screen. Naturally, they were shocked out of their wits, but their faces also showed pride, respect, and, of course, a deeper sense of love.
"So that’s how it went... thank God, honey. You made it, and I’m so proud of you," Daisy said, pulling Dennis into a hug. However, Destiny squirmed in her arms, struggling to get away and refusing to go anywhere near him.
"Destiny, it’s Daddy," Dennis said, reaching out his arms after letting go of Daisy’s embrace.
Destiny didn’t answer. Her big, cute eyes stared at Dennis as if she were seeing him for the first time, her adorable face seemingly asking, "Who is this person... where is Da-da?"
"I think you need to shave first... then she’ll recognize you," Daisy said, taking a step back.
"Ugh... how depressing. Fine, I’ll go shave," Dennis replied.
"Don’t!" Deborah, Dahlia, and Donna shouted at once.
"Huh... why not? Shave, my husband. You look ugly like that," Diana argued.
"She’s right, dear. Shave so Destiny will be willing to get close to you again," Daphne added.
"I agree. That kiss just now felt a little weird because hair kept getting into my mouth," Dulcia said.
"No... you look better this way. Just trim it, don’t cut it all off," Deborah insisted.
"I agree... don’t shave it off completely," Dahlia added.
"I like things with thick fur... don’t shave. Just approach Destiny slowly; she’ll get used to it eventually," Donna chimed in.
"You must... shave!" Diana, Daphne, and Dulcia yelled.
"Don’t you dare shave!" Deborah, Dahlia, and Donna screamed back.
"Daisy, which one do you pick?" everyone shouted in unison, turning their heads to look at her.
Daisy stayed quiet for a moment. She looked over at Dennis, studying him closely. She was likely picturing Dennis without the beard and comparing him to the man standing right in front of her.
"Hmm... I don’t know. To be honest, I like it better when he has a beard, just not this thick... I don’t know. You guys decide," Daisy said while holding Destiny.
A massive debate broke out among them over whether Dennis should shave his beard entirely or just neaten it up. Watching them, Dennis could only smile, though he felt a pang of sadness seeing Destiny continue to stare at him like he was a total stranger.
