Chapter 130: Chapter 130 – One Mystery Seems to Have Been Solved

Two days had passed since Sohen’s latest "run-in" with his woman’s.

A new week had begun, and to Sohen’s surprise, it started off surprisingly calm.

- (Me). "???"

Runo, Karin, and Phoebe were acting as if that provocative week had never happened.

They looked much more modest, dressed normally, didn’t provoke him, and didn’t touch him.

(What’s wrong with them?... Where are those sexy outfits and their attitudes? It’s certainly good that they seem to have calmed down about showing off their erotic bodies, but... why did everything change so quickly again?...)

For Sohen, this was a good sign; he had no right to complain about such a long-awaited peace, but he was surprised at how quickly the behavior of his beloved women had been changing lately.

(They aren’t sexually provoking me, so that’s good. Now I can look at some things more rationally and resolve certain issues that have piled up so quickly.)

The day passed slowly and peacefully, but around lunchtime, Minju called.

- (Me). "Minju?"

(What does she want? She seemed to say she’d be busy for a while.)

Minju said hello, asked what he was doing, and inquired about his plans for the evening.

Sohen answered honestly that he was working and didn’t have any special plans; he’d be spending time at home.

Minju seemed pleased and got straight to the point:

- (Minju). "If you don’t have any plans, then... can we meet up tonight? My partner is coming to town and would really like to meet you."

Sohen hadn’t expected to meet his biological mother’s partner so soon.

To be honest, he didn’t really feel like going anywhere today, but after a moment’s thought, he agreed anyway.

Minju was clearly delighted; she thanked him and said she would drive over that evening to pick him up.

That was the end of the conversation.

(Minju’s partner... well, it seems the momentous day of our meeting has arrived, but...)

Sohen felt a certain nervousness.

He didn’t understand why he was nervous, but the feeling was unpleasant.

(It’s hard to explain this feeling... I’ve never felt this way before. I hope that as soon as I get to know this person, I’ll... find out what’s been bothering me so much lately. I wonder who you are, Minju’s old friend...?)

After a while, he told his relatives that he would be away for a while due to a meeting with his biological mother and her partner, but promised to return as soon as possible.

The reaction was predictable.

- (Karin). "..."

- (Runo). "..."

- (Phoebe). "..."

When Sohen said Minju’s name, the faces of his three relatives visibly tensed.

Karin was particularly displeased.

She made no secret of her negative attitude toward Sohe’s biological mother and sharply said that Minju *?@)_";#(_.*

(These words need to be censored because they’re too disgusting. I didn’t even expect my relatively calm and reserved adopted mother to know such words at all, but... her point of view is also understandable. Minju is still shrouded in mystery, and it seems those secrets will remain hidden for a long time.)

Runo and Phoebe supported her, warning Sohen to be as careful as possible with both her mother and her partner.

They wished him luck and sent him off to this important meeting.

...

As agreed, Minju arrived by car that evening and picked him up.

She said her partner was waiting for them at the "Reunion" restaurant — the best and most expensive establishment in their small town.

(Reunion... Well, there are probably no better establishments in our modest town, and since this person is the owner of the Yohenbe Bank, it’s quite understandable that he would choose only the best.)

After a while, they arrived.

The "Reunion" restaurant was a nine-story building — the tallest in the city.

They parked and got out of the car.

Sohen couldn’t help but glance at his mother.

(My father and Minju’s current partner are lucky. She... is an elite beauty.)

Minju looked very beautiful.

She was wearing a bright red dress that hugged her figure tightly, accentuating her full breasts, slim waist, and rounded hips.

The dress had a deep neckline that elegantly revealed her décolletage and long sleeves. Around her waist was a stylish chain with a large buckle.

Her long, wavy red hair fell freely over her shoulders.

Her makeup was subtle but very striking, especially her eyes and lips.

She looked confident, elegant, and attractive.

(Well then... it’s time to see you, old friend of my biological mother...)

They entered the building and headed for the elevator.

Minju explained that her partner was waiting for them on the ninth floor — the restaurant’s most exclusive level.

She tried to speak calmly, but the higher the elevator went, the more nervous she became.

The red-haired beauty kept making strange movements with the fingers of both hands, as if trying to calm herself down.

Sohen noticed this and asked quietly:

- (Me). "Are you okay?"

Minju gave a faint smile, but it came out stiff.

- (Minju). "Yes... I’m just a little nervous. I want you two to get to know each other properly..."

The elevator continued to rise, and a few seconds later, Sohen and Minju were on the ninth floor.

Sohen knew that not everyone could access this level, even if they had money.

This showed him once again just how high Minju’s partner’s status and influence were.

They stepped out of the elevator.

Minju walked slightly ahead and Sohen followed her.

They turned right and found themselves in the main hall of the ninth floor.

(Wow... How elegant and aesthetically pleasing it is here.)

The interior was stunning and opulent.

Everything was done in deep, noble dark tones — black marble floors with golden veins, walls of dark wood and deep burgundy velvet, subdued golden lighting from handmade crystal chandeliers.

Large floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offered a breathtaking night view of the city, whose lights were reflected in the glass, creating the sensation that you were high above the world.

The room exuded an atmosphere of refined luxury and absolute privacy: heavy velvet curtains, plush leather armchairs in midnight blue, black marble tables set with silver cutlery and heavy crystal glasses.

The air was filled with the subtle aroma of expensive cigars, aged whiskey, luxury perfumes, and fresh flowers.

(This place can only be described as... elite. I didn’t even expect to see something like this in our little town. Just out of personal curiosity — how much does it cost to rent this place for even an hour?)

Sohen involuntarily began to look around, momentarily distracted from the tension.

Minju noticed this, gently took his hand, and said quietly:

- (Minju). "You can look at the interior later. They’re already waiting for us."

Sohen nodded and looked ahead.

At the very end of the hall, at a large table by the window, two people stood in the semi-darkness.

One person was sitting, the other standing nearby.

(The person standing is... a personal bodyguard, right? )

The closer they got, the stronger Sohen felt a strange, oppressive sensation.

When they got close enough, he clearly saw the first detail... the gray eyes of the person sitting down.

(It’s... What the hell?!)

His heart clenched sharply.

Those gray eyes...

He knew them.

He had seen them in his dream.

The very same cold, piercing gray eyes that had belonged to that dark, eerie figure back then.

Sohen felt a wave of irritation and anxiety rising inside him.

(This person’s eyes look just like those of the creature from my dream — the one that did... that thing with the three letters and smiled maliciously... Could this be a prophetic dream?... No, no, no, it’s definitely not a prophetic dream. In dreams like that, everything happens after some time, but nothing like that will happen to me... because if this person even tries to look askance at my relatives, he’ll end up in the river as fish food. It’s better not to piss me off, because then I get VERY SCARY...)

The realization that the man in front of him and the man from his dream looked similar on the outside made Sohen a little... angry.

As he got closer and closer, the young man with dark blue eyes began to release his overwhelming aura, which started to affect Minju and the two other people in front of him directly.

Minju was surprised and frightened when she saw that something was wrong with her son.

- (Minju). "So... Sohen?"

- (Me). "..."

On the other hand, the mysterious person standing there also seemed to feel discomfort and a certain fear, even instinctively letting out a cry of alarm.

The only person who didn’t seem to care was the mysterious person with gray eyes, who watched Sohen’s change in behavior and began to smile.

They approached, and a few seconds later were already standing in front of the two mysterious people.

- (???). "So you’re Minju’s son?"

- (Me). "..."

- (???). "Minju, my dear. Your son is just as you described him."

- (Minju). "Hah... Yeah..."

For some reason, Minju awkwardly scratched her temple with her index finger and smiled uncertainly.

Sohen continued to project his bloodthirsty aura and...

- (Me). "Right... My name is Sohen and... Wait! What?"

(That voice...)

Suddenly, Sohen stopped projecting his oppressive aura.

He blinked twice and widened his eyes upon hearing the voice of the person with gray eyes.

Sohen was surprised and was about to say something, but the person with gray eyes cut him off and started laughing.

- (???). "Ha-ha!... Minju... your son is just incredible. I’m thrilled."

- (Minju). "Ha-ha...

- (???). "Why such an uncertain laugh, Minju? It’s really true. Sohen is a very unusual boy."

- (Me). "..."

- (???). "Well, Sohen... I’m glad to see you again, hehe."

Minju was surprised when she heard the words of the person with gray eyes and asked that person:

- (Minju). "Again?"

- (???). "Yes, hehe... We’ve met before. I... forgot to tell you that. Sorry. I’ll tell you how it happened later."

- (Minju). "..."

After saying this, the person with gray eyes stood up and walked toward Sohen.

When the person with gray eyes stepped out of the darkness and revealed their true appearance, Sohen was even more surprised, and now his mouth fell open in astonishment.

(Holy shit...)

The person with gray eyes approached Sohen, extended a hand in greeting, and began to smile.

- (???). "Now nothing stands in the way of us finishing that conversation, right, hehe?"

- (Me). "..."

Sohen stood there surprised and a little shocked, realizing that Minju’s partner and the owner of Yohenbe Bank was...

(It’s a small world... Now I understand where that phrase came from...)

- (???). "You already know my name, but let me introduce myself in a different way... Nice to meet you, my name is... Akina, and I’ll soon be your stepmother, ha-ha..."

- (Me). "..."

The partner Minju was about to marry was... Akina, the woman who had recently given him a processor and become his friend on social media.

(I don’t know how to comment on this...)
