Chapter 906: Chapter 906: Don’t Cry, I’m Fine, Aren’t I?

"Daddy believes Laurant Foster hurt me before, and even if he likes me now, it’s nowhere near as much as I like him. In love, the one who loves more often gets hurt."

Sebastian Moore: "Since you know, why do you still..."

"But Daddy, I really like Foster!" Arnold interrupted Sebastian Moore, looking at him, and continued, "Daddy, no one knows what the future holds nor does Monica. But right now, Monica just wants to be with Foster and believes he will love her for a lifetime!"

"Nonsense!" Sebastian Moore couldn’t help but curse, "That boy is blind, otherwise he wouldn’t have rejected your true feelings or refused my proposal for engagement with you!"

"But now Foster has already fallen for me and decided to marry no one but me!" Arnold looked at Sebastian Moore and continued, "Daddy, today’s incident was Monica’s fault, but Monica doesn’t think she was wrong."

With that, Arnold gave a deep bow, "Daddy, Monica apologizes to you here; she may upset you now and possibly in the future too."

Arnold shrugged the bag on her shoulder, looking at Sebastian Moore, Isabelle Hewitt and others, "Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa, I need to go out for a while, and won’t be back for a few days."

After speaking, Arnold lifted her foot and walked out.

Sebastian Moore’s eagle-like eyes looked at Arnold, specifically at the backpack on her back, "Where are you planning to go? To find that brat?"

Arnold nodded, "Yes!"

"You..." Sebastian Moore sighed deeply, and looked at Arnold and said, "You don’t need to go. That boy is in trouble, and you can’t find him."

Arnold’s steps paused, and with a bang, the backpack fell off her shoulder.

Her face turned pale as she turned to look at Sebastian Moore, and asked, "Daddy, what did you just say?"

"Alas..." Sebastian Moore sighed again, then slowly said, "That boy accidentally fell off a cliff while pursuing Wilmer. It’s been a week, and he’s missing, his fate unknown."

"What?" Arnold staggered backward, "Impossible, impossible!"

Saying this, Arnold ran out like crazy, "He must be okay, he said he would come back to marry me! I must go find him, I will find him!"

Just like that, Arnold ran out of the Moore household in a daze, hailed a cab to the airport, and booked the soonest flight to G City to search for Mark.

Meanwhile, the engagement site was now empty except for Ethan Sterling standing on the central stage.

Looking at the dazzling diamond ring, Ethan Sterling’s handsome, cold face turned terrifyingly dark, "Monica, tell me, what should I do with you?"

At this moment, Ethan Sterling still didn’t know that the Monica he spoke of had already boarded a plane, on the way to search for Mark.

If he knew, his expression would be even darker and more terrifying.

In the near future, when Ethan Sterling learns about this, he would smash the teacup in his hand, and do something he would regret for a lifetime.

But that’s another story.

On the plane, Arnold’s emotions gradually calmed down.

After calming down, Arnold discovered a fatal problem; in her worry for the boss’s safety, she left her bag at home, which included her phone.

Arnold frustratedly tapped her head, "How could I be so stupid, how did I leave the phone in the bag? How can I contact Foster, or Silas and the others now?" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

Feeling dejected all the way, the plane Arnold was on landed at G City airport.

Immediately upon leaving the airport, Arnold used a public phone to contact Mark.

Upon hearing the phone shutdown notification, confirming her worst fear, Arnold became even more anxious.

Besides Mark, Arnold couldn’t remember Silas or the others’ numbers, so she called her father Sebastian Moore, "Daddy, please tell me where Foster got into trouble? And could you please give me Silas’s number too?"

For once, Sebastian Moore didn’t say much, directly telling Arnold where Mark got into trouble, and shared Silas’s number with her.

After explaining what Arnold wanted to know, Sebastian Moore then said sternly, "Monica, Daddy also doesn’t believe that boy is hurt."

"You can go find him, being his former subordinate and having fought side by side with him."

"But remember, this is only a one-time exception!"

"And regardless, Daddy won’t agree to you being together with him!"

"Daddy, thank you." Arnold thanked Sebastian Moore for telling her what she wanted to know.

However, after thanking, she firmly told Sebastian Moore, "Daddy, he will be safe. No matter if Daddy consents or not, as long as Foster doesn’t give up on me, I will never let go of his hand!"

With that, Arnold hung up the phone.

After hanging up Sebastian Moore’s call, Arnold immediately contacted Silas.

At that time, Silas was just about to report to his superior that he had found Mark and Mark was safe.

Silas had just taken out his phone and hadn’t yet dialed when a call came in on his phone.

Seeing the unfamiliar number, Silas muttered, "Who is this, how do they know my number?"

As he said that, Silas picked up the call, "Hello, who is this?"

"Silas, is it you? Have you found Foster? How is he now?..." Hearing Silas’s voice, Arnold fired a series of questions.

"Arnold, it’s you!" Recognizing Arnold’s voice, Silas immediately reassured her, "Don’t worry, Arnold; the boss is fine and he’s doing well..."

At this point, seeing Mark’s eyes, Silas quickly stopped talking and said, "Arnold, the boss has something to say to you."

With that, Silas handed the phone over to Mark.

Taking the phone, Mark asked in a deep voice, "Where are you now?"

Hearing Mark’s voice, Arnold’s eyes immediately reddened, and tears started streaming down, "That’s great Foster, you’re okay, it’s good you’re okay!"

"Don’t cry, I’m fine." Hearing Arnold’s crying tone, Mark immediately comforted.

After speaking, Mark then said in a serious tone, "Tell me where you are now, I’ll have Silas come to pick you up."

Arnold asked tearfully, "How did you know I came to find you?"

Mark’s lips gently curved, and the cold expression he had since waking up finally showed warmth, "Silly girl, don’t I know you well enough?"
