Just then, Ye Xiu and Long Tianba happened to be coming downstairs. Ye Xiu said with a smile that was not quite a smile, "What a coincidence to meet again so soon. By the way, why did you run away earlier? And in such a hurry?"

"Shut up!" Kristina cut him off.
Ye Tianming fell silent.
"Answer my question!" Kristina commanded Ye Xiu.
Ye Xiu shrugged. "After you fled, Meng Yinwan killed Yatie in a fit of rage."
Kristina nodded. "As expected. Do you realize you’ve ruined my plan?"
Her eyes, expression, and tone were perfectly calm, as if Ye Xiu ruining her plan was a mundane occurrence.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," Ye Xiu feigned ignorance.
Ye Tianming and the Dragon Master, however, were genuinely confused.
Kristina didn’t explain. Instead, she stated calmly, "You ruined my plan, so I will kill Ye Tianming and Long Tianba, annihilate the Ye and Long Families, and in doing so, ruin your plan for revenge!"
With that, she unleashed a palm strike toward Ye Tianming, who was standing two meters away. He didn’t move, a smile on his face, showing no intention of dodging or blocking.
