Chapter 433: Chapter 386: Never Give Up on Women’s Clothing, I’ve Caught You, Soma! (Vote for Monthly Tickets!)

"Even if someone worships me, I wouldn’t go!"

Soma pounded his chest, swearing solemnly.

The Devas looked at each other and shook their heads with a smile.

"That’s good!"

Wind God Vayu continued, "After the Naga shed their skins, they are reborn, and alcohol becomes delicious after it is brewed; Soma is also more mature than before."

Hearing this, Fire God Agni glanced at Wind God Vayu.

"Hmm?"

"Could this guy have been over-served by Soma?"

Fire God Agni muttered in his heart.

The last time he had drunk too much, he had babbled nonsensically just like Wind God Vayu was now.

And then he might have done something silly.

"But now that Soma is watched over by so many wives, it’s indeed better than before!"

Fire God Agni thought to himself.

Upon hearing this, Water God Varuna didn’t speak but simply smiled.

Moon God Soma stood tall and proud.

His eyes swept across the numerous Devas.

"It seems some doubt my abilities; I must make them recognize me anew."

Moon God Soma thought to himself.

His handsome face revealed an excited glow, his arms robust, hands crossed over his chest, full of an upward striving force.

He couldn’t wait to show himself!

...

Time flew by, and a hundred years trickled past in an instant.

Whoosh!

Maya Asura’s back was hunched as he sat cross-legged on the altar.

He activated his Maya Illusion Power, creating the image of a gaunt old man with a large beard.

"Omm~ Praise Moon God Soma!"

Accompanied by the voices of praise, a ladle reached into the jar of alcohol and scattered a scoop into the fire sacrifice.

Whosh!

The alcohol fell into the flames, causing them to surge up.

The fire sacrifice kept burning, but there was no response whatsoever.

"Strange!"

"Why is there no reaction from Soma!"

Maya Asura frowned, sinking into thought.

He grasped the ladle, gently tapping it against the step beside him, the ladle’s rhythmic bobbing producing a tinking sound.

Strange!

Logically, this special [Soma Ritual] should please Soma easily.

But now Soma isn’t reacting at all!

Something is totally off!

"I’ll try again!"

Maya Asura pondered.

He was never one to compromise easily, and now that he had begun the Soma Ritual, he was determined not to give up.

With that thought, Maya Asura’s gaze sharpened.

He clenched his teeth and grabbed the ladle, continuing to reach into the alcohol jar.

Whoosh!

Hundreds of years flashed by in a moment.

Atop the entire altar, all the alcohol jars on the eight steps were empty.

The image that Maya Asura had conjured with his Maya, had become even more withered, his clothes tattered and full of holes.

His external body as well had grown old, his right hand holding the ladle as withered as a dry twig. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Whoosh!

Maya Asura’s eyes flashed with fire.

He rose abruptly, rage building in his eyes, reflecting the flames of the altar.

"Useless!"

"Why is it useless! What is Soma doing!"

Maya Asura’s body swayed.

The image of the old man created by his Maya Illusion Power vanished in an instant, replaced by his tall stature and wild hair flying about.

"I have been here for hundreds of years!"

"To give up like this, I can’t accept it!"

"I’ve acted the part of such a devout believer, and yet Soma doesn’t show."

"Unacceptable!"

"This Deva is too inadequate!"

Maya Asura growled lowly.

He stood up, kicking the empty alcohol jars around him, unable to contain his anger. He had worshipped Soma for so many years, and Soma had actually managed not to show up, showing some real patience!

"All these years have been of no use!"

"Could I have been using the wrong method?"

Maya Asura pondered.

He blinked, his gaze ephemeral, shifting left and right.

Around the edges of his profound eyes, yin-yang fish-like divine patterns emerged with black and white brilliance, and wisdom’s divine light flickered within his pupils.

"Perhaps I should try a different approach!"

Maya Asura thought to himself.

As soon as he finished speaking, an incomparable brilliance shot out from his eyes.

He raised his hand and waved it once again, and Maya’s Power surged forth.

Swish!

Maya Illusion Power swirled around.

His figure gradually became ethereal, and in its place, a curvaceous beauty appeared.

This beauty with a perky behind had an extremely voluptuous figure, skin like ripe wheat, heavy bosom like bountiful harvests.

The beauty swayed her posture gently.

Underneath the thin skirt, her long legs intertwined, her body twirling, her fingers performing a variety of gestures.

Rustle!

The shadow of the beauty reflected in the flames, reaching the Moon God Soma in the Heavenly Realm.

...

Elsewhere, within the Heavenly Realm.

The Moon God Soma focused intently, channeling Divine Power to brew a sweet and mellow wine.

Soon, he furrowed his brows as once again, the sound of praise reached his ears.

"Again!"

"Can’t they wait until I’ve finished brewing?"

Soma muttered, displeased.

He blinked, and a light immediately shone in his eyes.

Swish!

The scene upon the earth instantly filled his vision, and the dancing maiden also appeared before his eyes.

This maiden was slender-waisted and stunningly beautiful.

Her passionate body movements were lively and brimming with enthusiasm.

"Eh!"

Moon God Soma’s eyes brightened.

His mind was invigorated, immediately perking up, the impatience from before disappearing without a trace.

"What a beautiful slender-waisted lady!"

Soma exclaimed, eyes intently fixed.

He clicked his tongue in wonder and set down the wine in his hands, reflecting sentimentally, "Mahadeva once taught me that fulfilling the wishes of worshippers is the duty of a deity!"

"How could I stand by and do nothing!"

"Moreover!"

"Fulfilling a maiden’s wish won’t take long, I can return immediately!"

"That’s right, that’s the way to do it!"

As Soma talked to himself, he slowly stood up.

His towering frame flickered indeterminately, a faint silver radiance emanating from all around him, like a Divine Wheel in motion, enveloping everything.

The next moment, Soma was cloaked in the silver light, and in a blink, he disappeared from the Heavenly Realm.

Swish!

The Mortal Realm.

At the altar.

The Fire Sacrifice roared fiercely, smoke billowing in twisting spirals, turning into a flame tornado. Within the vortex, silver light scattered, ultimately coalescing into a silver figure.

Moon God Soma, with an open chest and outstretched arms, hovered above the fire.

"Faithful Sacrificer!"

"I am the sacred Moon God, the glorious Wine God!"

"Soma!"

Soma! Soma! Soma!

The Moon God Soma, smiling, with arms wide open, gradually descended from above the fire and alighted upon the altar.

"Beautiful slender-waisted maiden!"

"My light cascades upon the earth and has also fallen upon your graceful dance!"

"Come forth!"

"Speak your wish!"

Moon God Soma, smiling, moved forward, intending to take the maiden’s hand.

At that moment, the slender-waisted girl’s graceful dance finally ceased, and a pair of icy eyes slowly lifted to look at Soma.

A voice transitioned from a pleasant, clear female tone to a hoarse and deep male voice.

"You have finally arrived!"

"Soma!"
