Chapter 404: Chapter 360: Why Not Mix It Together? Ax-wielding Rama Descends! (Requesting Monthly Votes!)_2
At this moment, his innate goodness, his darkness, and his sorrow interwove, tangled within him. He slowly raised his head as if three voices emerged by his ear, criss-crossing and resonating.
"After all, it wasn’t intentional on your part, just unawareness of the rules. What can they do if you don’t agree?"
"He is your father!"
"No one in this world can command you!"
"No! Have you forgotten your mother? How upset she would be if you do this!"
In the midst of these interweaving voices,
it seemed to him that he saw the law of cause and effect!
Faint illusions bubbled up, flickering before his eyes.
Indistinct.
Yet instinctively making his heart shudder!
Whoosh!
Sani’s eyes shot open, gasping for breath.
He violently shook his head, immediately turning his gaze to Indra.
"Vajra Holder! Great sage of the Vedas!"
"I think you’re right!"
"I just wanted to share the joy of my marriage with the glorious Supreme Lord, neglecting my father’s feelings. That was my mistake!" Sani spoke.
Seeing this, Indra blinked, looking at Sani in surprise.
Hmm?
This guy reacts so fast!
He hadn’t yet figured out what to do if Sani refused!
Yet Sani was already apologizing!
Tsk!
Indra couldn’t help but shake his head.
In his gaze, Sani turned to face Mahadeva, bringing his hands together in respect.
"Supreme Lord!"
"Please, conduct this ritual together with my father!" Sani pleaded.
"Of course!" Shiva said in a calm and smiling manner.
Towards his followers, he was always good-tempered, as warm and soothing as a spring breeze.
"You are right!"
"A teacher is a bearer of wisdom, imparting the Vedas, guiding disciples out of ignorance and enlightening them, releasing their minds from delusions, attaining spiritual liberation."
"Like a father, the teacher instills a wisdom that symbolizes rebirth, marking a new beginning!" Shiva nodded slightly.
Sani listened with his hands joined, as did the words of Shiva.
The Devas also listened by the side.
Fire God Agni said, "Mahadeva is right, Indra’s suggestion is truly excellent!"
Wind God Vayu opened his eyes wide in surprise, watching Sani and remarked, "Sani is indeed reasonable, look, he agreed just after Indra spoke."
Water God Varuna also expressed his agreement.
"Indeed!"
"Indra’s words are indeed filled with wisdom!"
"How auspicious to have both teacher and father present at such a moment!" Water God Varuna said.
Hearing these words, Sani’s pupils contracted; he frowned, sweat slowly forming on his back, and a dull pain at the back of his head.
In that moment, he seemed to see the law of cause and effect.
Indistinctly, he felt that if he didn’t agree, something dangerous might happen.
"So dangerous!" Sani murmured to himself.
He shook his head again and looked at Surya, taking a deep breath before speaking solemnly.
"Father."
"Please conduct this ritual with Mahadeva!" Sani said.
At these words, Sun God Surya was taken aback, he slightly tilted his body, his gaze scanning up and down, looking at Sani incredulously.
"Father!"
Sani joined his hands again and spoke.
Surya let out an ’ah’ sound before he finally reacted.
"Good!"
"I will do it!"
"Together with Mahadeva!"
Surya, somewhat bewildered, gingerly approached Shiva, looking at him with amazement and joy.
He was standing beside the Supreme Lord.
To conduct the ritual together!
"Indra’s suggestion is really great!" Surya’s gaze shimmered, looking toward Indra with admiration.
Impressive!
Indra’s suggestion was marvelous!
It allowed him, Surya, not only to participate in the naming ceremony but to do it alongside Mahadeva – it felt like an honor by association.
The Kashigyakya couple stood frozen in place.
Manda, Sani’s wife, blinked in surprise, glancing at Sani and then toward Indra.
"Sani actually agreed!" Manda was astonished internally.
Truly deserving his title as a sage of the Vedas, effortlessly resolving Sani’s dilemma.
Kashigyakya wore a face full of doubt.
He looked at his teacher oddly, his face suddenly painted with various hues of confusion.
"A single sentence made Sani apologize!"
"How did the teacher do it?" Kashigyakya wondered.within himself.
At this moment, everyone gathered together.
Whoosh!
Indra’s gaze swept over, looking at the now ready Surya.
"Let’s continue then!" Indra said with a smile.
Since everyone was cooperating, might as well wrap it up quickly!
Whoo, whoo, whoo~
The jubilant and melodious sound of the conch shell sang once more, the beautiful tune echoing in all directions, spreading from the palace, resounding through the city of [Martigavapur].
The auspicious ritual began anew!
Sani and Manda stood hand in hand, husband and wife, exchanging smiles.
Then Sani poured ghee into the fire sacrifice, while Manda’s elder brother brought over the roasted rice, also poured into the flames.
Together the couple circled the bonfire!
The Devas watched with smiles, quietly observing the scene.
Sun God Surya was filled with emotion.
"I never expected this!"
"Not only has Yama married, but now my youngest son as well!"
Surya said emotionally.
Hearing this, Yama glanced silently at Surya, his blue complexion growing somewhat darker.
He did not want to get married at all!
And to his own sister Yamini, no less!
"Righteous Law, oh!"
"Send someone quickly to take away such a father like Surya!"
Yama felt disgruntled in his heart.
Boom!
Rumbling!
Suddenly, the entire palace trembled violently, clouds of dust scattered and fell, raining down chaotically, making it hard for anyone to stand steady.
But here, none were ordinary people!
"Someone has come!"
Indra turned to look outside the temple.
He could feel a presence!
A powerful presence!
"Trouble!"
"Outside the capital, a Brahman has breached our walls, declaring a challenge to the King!"
A guard came forward to report.
Upon hearing this, King Kashigyakya was baffled.
He was just fine in the palace; how could someone suddenly come and challenge him?
The Devas looked at each other, all aware of what was happening.
Someone was picking a fight!
Fire God Agni smiled.
Such a trifling matter!
He stepped forward, looking at Sun God Surya: "Stay here at ease, I will persuade the Brahman to return!"
Fire God Agni stepped out with a confident smile.
He was the Fire God!
The Fire Sacrifice!
Any Brahman, from anywhere, no matter the ascetic, would respect him!
This issue would be easily resolved by him.
Whoosh!
Wind God Vayu and Water God Varuna exchanged a glance.
Both appeared calm and composed.
"I’ll also take a look to see who dares to be so bold, like a fish leaping ashore under the blazing sun!" Vayu said with a laugh.
"I will go as well!" Varuna added.
The three stood tall and proud, striding forth and transforming into three streaks of Divine Light, instantly flying out.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Agni and the others appeared just outside the capital in an instant.
The moment they touched down, they immediately saw Ax-wielding Rama before them.
"Who are you?"
"Leave this place. An auspicious marriage ritual is in progress inside, you must not disrupt this blessed ceremony!" Agni commanded with an air of authority.
Ax-wielding Rama remained calm.
His gaze swept over and seemed to see through the three Devas facing him.
"Fire Sacrifice! Source of Water and Fierce Wind!"
"You are the Shining Ones! The Devas soaring above the skies! Your mighty power is boundless!"
"But please do not obstruct my vengeance!"
"I am Biluo Saramo. A Gandharva king desecrated my mother’s asceticism, and I seek vengeance for my mother, to avenge my father," Rama declared.
Vayu stepped forward.
"Stand down!"
"I know you, you are a disciple of Mahadeva!"
"The King of Gandharva follows the Righteous Law with integrity, he is not the one you seek!" Vayu said.
Ax-wielding Rama!
They knew as well, that this man was the son of the Agni Ascetic, a disciple of Shiva.
Exceedingly powerful!
Ax-wielding Rama remained unmoved.
"I will not give up!"
"If you seek to stop me, then you must accept my challenge!" Rama announced.
Upon hearing this, Agni’s expression soured.
"What did you say!"
"Do you think you can defeat the Devas?"
Agni’s eyes burst into flame, his gaze as if to burn the wilderness, a boundless black smoke rising behind him, shooting into the skies.
Whoosh!
Ax-wielding Rama raised his right hand.
His fingers spread wide, eclipsing the brightness as if capturing the very sun within his grasp. The clouds churned, slowly veiling the sky, turning the world into darkness.
Crack!
Bolts of blinding lightning weaved through the clouds, thundering loudly.
In Rama’s hand, a Divine Axe suddenly appeared.
"Come then!"
"Let us battle!"
With a focused gaze, Rama swung the axe toward the three Devas before him.
Whoosh!
A streak of light instantly illuminated Agni’s face.
