Chapter 375: Fu Mingwu Takes Down the Boss

Deep within the denser part of the Willow Garden, where the ancient willows grew so thick their branches blocked most of the sunlight, a group of black-robed disciples stood guard around a small clearing.

A subordinate rushed over, breathing hard, and dropped to one knee in front of a handsome young man in luxurious golden robes.

"Young Master Wen, it is done," the subordinate reported, voice trembling with excitement. "We have successfully unsealed the Blood Fox. The binding chains are broken."

Wen Qiming, Young Master of the Wen Clan, leaned back against a willow trunk and let out a low, satisfied laugh. His eyes gleamed with cold amusement.

"Excellent. Thanks to Zhuo Family and their True Unsealing Talisman, we managed to crack the suppression array on the strongest beasts. Now the more that Blood Fox kills, the heavier the blame falls on White Crane Hall."

He flicked his fan open with a snap. "They will have to explain how a sealed Rank 4 Ethereal Yao suddenly went on a rampage during a junior hunt. Their reputation will take a nice hit, and our Wen Clan can sit back and watch the show."

" Don’t forget, Zhuo Clan promised us a Xuan Grade treasure and two Xuan Grade battle techniques. Haha, all of us going to reap the profit."

Another subordinate came running from the opposite direction, face flushed.

"Young Master! We have located the pair of Rank 3 Aboriginals you wanted. They are currently resting near the western spring. We have already prepared the Soul Sleeping Poison as instructed."

Wen Qiming’s smile widened into something almost predatory.

"Good. Gather everyone. We move now. Today, we hunt both the those two aboriginals. The fox, let it rampage. We can kill the aboriginals faster." He stood up, golden robes fluttering. "Let’s go. Make sure no one escapes alive to tell the tale."

Back in the fourth region, chaos had already erupted.

Fu Mingwu was in the middle of trading blows with one of Huang Cheng’s lackeys when a terrifying wave of heat suddenly descended from above.

"Above us! Watch out!!" Qi Xueyu screamed in warning.

Fu Mingwu and Chen Wei reacted instantly, throwing themselves to opposite sides. A roaring pillar of crimson flame crashed down exactly where they had been standing. But, the three of the five Golden Jade Villa disciples weren’t fast enough.

Their screams lasted less than a second before they turned into charred skeletons, flesh burnt into ash.

Huang Cheng’s face went deathly pale. "What the hell-"

Before he could finish, a massive shadow leaped out from the burning trees. A Blood Fox the size of a small house landed in front of them, a pitch crimson tail blazing with bloody flames, eyes glowing with pure murderous instinct.

Rank 4 Ethereal Yao- Blood Fox.

"Run!" someone shouted.

But it was already too late. The fox roared and swiped its claws. Huang Cheng used a movement technique, making him shift positions. However, the remaining disciple could only block it with his strength.

*BOOM!*

His shield torn apart as the claws crushed it like a paper, the disciple flung to far, his body mangled.

Fu Mingwu, Chen Wei, and Qi Xueyu retreated together with Huang Cheng, backs almost touching as they formed a desperate defensive circle.

The Blood Fox didn’t give them any breathing room. It moved like liquid fire, claws slashing, flames pouring from its mouth in wide arcs. Every time someone tried to counter, the beast would simply overpower them with raw strength and terrifying speed.

Huang Cheng’s face was twisted in fear and rage. " Fuck! Fuck! We aren’t even near the danger zone! Why is this beast is here!!?"

" Who the fuck cares now? Shut up and fight!"

Fu Mingwu snarled, punching out with everything he had. His spiked knuckles smashed into the fox’s shoulder, but it only left a shallow crack before the beast slapped him away like a fly.

Chen Wei swung his broadsword with a roar, but the fox’s tail whipped out and sent him crashing into a tree. Qi Xueyu’s sword flashed with cold light, cutting a long gash across the fox’s flank, yet the wound closed almost instantly.

Despite dodging and trading blows, everyone knew it was the same as throwing eggs against a rock. The strength of the fox was far greater than theirs.

Fu Mingwu coughed up blood and forced himself up again. "If we don’t cooperate right now, we’re all going to die here like dogs!"

Huang Cheng gritted his teeth so hard Fu Mingwu could hear it. After a moment of hesitation, he finally spat out, "I have a Lightning Whip Talisman- Spirit grade. It can restrain the beast for a few breaths at most. But I need an opening."

Fu Mingwu didn’t waste time arguing. "Chen Wei! Lure its attention!"

Chen Wei wiped blood from his mouth and grinned like a madman. "Leave it to me!"

He charged forward, roaring, swinging his broadsword wildly to draw the fox’s aggro. Both his arms were covered with fur, muscles increasing three times their original size.

" Stone Bear Arms!"

The Blood Fox shot severl balls of flames at Chen Wei. Chen Wei dodged three of them, and took one against his broad sword. Cracks appeared on his sword, but with the strength of his arms, he merely got blasted back, without sustaining any critical injuries.

"Now!" Huang Cheng shouted.

He crushed the talisman in his hand. A burst of crackling lightning erupted, forming thick purple vines that shot forward and wrapped around the Blood Fox’s body.

The beast howled in fury as electricity coursed through it, momentarily stunning its movements.

Huang Cheng didn’t wait another second. The moment the fox was restrained, he turned and fled without looking back, abandoning the rest of them.

"Motherfucker!" Fu Mingwu roared in pure rage. They had better chances to injure the fox rather than leaving.

Like, did that retard really think he could cover so much distance that the fox couldn’t chase it?

Fu Mingwu had already committed to the attack and couldn’t retreat now. The fox was starting to break free from the lightning vines; they only had a few moments left.

Suddenly, Long Ming’s lazy voice echoed in his mind from that training session:

"It’s not about crushing the stone from outside, brat. Shatter it from within. No matter how tough the shell is, if the inside is weak, the whole thing collapses."

Fu Mingwu’s eyes sharpened.

His spiked knuckles suddenly glinted with a faint crimson radiance. Something deep inside his bloodline surged, a wild, untamed strength bubbling up like boiling lava. His fists felt heavier, as if they transformed into a sharp yet heavy claws.

He took one step forward and punched with everything he had — straight into the side of the Blood Fox’s neck.

"Grandmaster Fist!"

The impact wasn’t loud. It was strangely soft.

But the moment his fist connected, the internal force exploded inside the fox’s body like a hidden bomb. The tough crystalline fur and muscles on the outside barely showed a mark, yet inside, bones shattered, organs ruptured, and blood vessels burst all at once.

The Rank 4 Blood Fox let out a final, agonized screech before its massive body collapsed sideways, flames on its tails flickering out one by one.

Fu Mingwu stood there for half a second, then his vision went black. He toppled forward, completely unconscious.

Chen Wei and Qi Xueyu rushed over, supporting his body.

"He... he actually killed it..." Chen Wei muttered in disbelief.

Qi Xueyu quickly scanned the surroundings. The fight had attracted attention, but for now, they were alone.

She didn’t waste time; she swiftly collected the essential material from the fox, the storage rings, and point plaques from the dead Golden Jade Villa disciples, including Huang Cheng’s dead fellow disciples.

The moment the Blood Fox died, a loud horn sounded across the entire Willow Garden.

The sealing barrier around the hunting ground began to open.
