Chapter 953: Chapter 951: Causing Trouble

Chu Hao glanced at this General and felt he looked familiar; it was the Chiliarch he’d traded True Yang Thunderballs with.

"Boss Chu, you’re here to catch that Yin Soul too?" the General asked.

Of course Chu Hao couldn’t say, I’m literally that Yin Soul, you guys chased me for half the day.

"Yeah, I heard that Yin Soul is special. I want to catch it and get a reward," Chu Hao said.

The General said helplessly, "That Yin Soul is indeed very special. Yesterday gods-know-how-many pursuers went after it, and still couldn’t catch up. One by one they were exhausted on the ground. That bastard runs like hell."

Chu Hao’s face darkened. "That’s because you’re trash. If it ran into me, let’s see how it’d run then."

The General looked embarrassed. "Boss Chu, don’t boast. Even several Myriarchs rode out personally back then, their mounts all got run into the ground; how could we possibly catch him?"

Chu Hao waved his hand. "You guys keep searching, I’m heading back."

The Chiliarch General said politely, "Take care, Boss Chu. Let’s grab a meal together sometime."

Watching Chu Hao’s departing back, one of the Netherworld Soldiers asked curiously, "My lord, who is he? You’re being awfully polite to him."

The Chiliarch said, "A Centurion."

The Netherworld Soldier said, "A Centurion? Isn’t that rank lower than yours? Why give him face?"

The Chiliarch said coldly, "What do you know? He’s a red-hot tycoon right now. Whoever can cooperate with him, their official rank will rise with the tide."

"That impressive?"

The Chiliarch sighed. "Pity his cooperation requirements are too high."

...

After a whole day’s travel, he finally made it back to the edge of Fengdu City’s walls.

"Who goes there?" the gate guard asked.

Chu Hao took out his Centurion badge. After the guard confirmed it, he immediately opened the city gate and let Chu Hao in.

Finally back.

Chu Hao was over the moon.

"Hey hey... yesterday a Foreign Ghost showed up and had a big fight with Lord King Qin Yama."

"So how did it end?"

"I heard King Qin Yama got the crap beaten out of him and flew into a thunderous rage."

"Damn! You can’t just say stuff like that."

"It’s true, I’m not lying."

"Get lost! Don’t say you know me. I still want to live a few more years and reincarnate."

Hearing the Ghosts chattering nonstop along the street, of course, when it came to anything about Yanjun, they didn’t dare say too much.

Chu Hao was dumbfounded. Feng Mo really did beat up King Qin Guang.

He really couldn’t figure out what exactly Feng Mo saw in him.

Still, Chu Hao really hoped that from now on, he would never see Feng Mo again.

But he couldn’t help thinking of that line Feng Mo had said.

"From now on, you’re my little bro. Whoever dares bully you, just report This Demon’s name."

In this society, my bro Feng is ruthless and doesn’t talk much.

Say you’ll beat King Qin Guang, and you actually beat him up.

Chu Hao had just been about to head home when he suddenly heard someone shouting excitedly, "We caught it! We caught it!"

"Why so worked up? Caught who?"

Someone said, "That Yin Soul from yesterday, they caught it."

Chu Hao froze, grabbed the Ghost who was spreading the news, and said, "How could they have caught it? No way, right?"

That Ghost took one look and saw Chu Hao was a living person, Yang Qi surging off him, and immediately shivered. "It’s really been caught, already brought back inside the city walls."

Fuck!

I’m right here; who the hell did they catch?

Curiosity got the better of Chu Hao, and he went to the edge of the city wall, where he saw a mighty squad of Yin Army Soldiers escorting an iron cage into the city.

Leading them was Lǚ Bù, Fang Tianhua Halberd in hand.

"General Lǚ Bù is so badass, he actually caught that Yin Soul."

"General Lǚ Bù’s rank is going to rise again. So jealous," some Generals said enviously.

Chu Hao took one look. Inside the iron cage there really was a Yin Soul—very skinny, its Yin Soul body blurry, looking like it had been beaten half to death, shivering inside the cage.

At first glance, its appearance was almost identical to how he looked when he put on the Skinning Mask.

Unable to catch him, Lǚ Bù just grabbed some random Yin Soul as a stand-in?

Chu Hao sneered.

This guy really is all guts and no brains, doesn’t think at all. He’s not afraid King Qin Guang finds out and comes for him?

An Old Ghost appeared—it was the same Old Ghost who’d wanted to study him yesterday. His eyes lit up and he said excitedly, "Haha! Well done, General Lǚ Bù. Hurry and send it to my lab."

Lǚ Bù cupped his hands. "Old Man Wang, please put in a few good words for me in front of King Qin."

The Old Ghost said, "No problem. Get it over there, quick."

Chu Hao couldn’t stand it anymore. If Lǚ Bù actually got away with this, he, Chu Hao, definitely wouldn’t accept it.

Chu Hao stepped forward. "You’ve got the wrong one, haven’t you? This Yin Soul is not the one from yesterday."

Everyone turned to look at him, expressions weird.

Not this one?

When Lǚ Bù saw it was Chu Hao, he let out a terrifying surge of Soul Force. "Nonsense! How is it not this one?"

Chu Hao stepped up and sneered. "You think we’re all idiots? This Yin Soul’s strength is barely that of a Second Stage Yin Soul. Yesterday it punched a fist mark into the city gate with one blow—its power was terrifying."

Lǚ Bù said coldly, "This General beat him within an inch of his life, of course he doesn’t dare act up. What do you know? I think you’re just jealous of this General."

Chu Hao ignored Lǚ Bù and said, "Take a good look, does this Yin Soul really look like the one from yesterday?"

Old Man Wang frowned. "It does."

"Yeah, that’s right,"

the others said.

Lǚ Bù looked smug.

Chu Hao rolled his eyes. Seriously, would I not know myself?

Chu Hao kicked the iron cage. The Yin Soul roared at him, baring its fangs and claws in rage, and spat out human words: "I’m going to kill you all!"

Chu Hao shrugged. "See that? Yesterday that guy couldn’t speak our language. When he opened his mouth it was all Soul Speech."

Old Man Wang was puzzled too. He’d been on the scene yesterday and had seen that one only speak Soul Speech.

Lǚ Bù flew into a rage. "What’s this got to do with you? Get lost!"

Chu Hao looked at him like he was an idiot. "Want to know if it’s the right Yin Soul? Just have it attack the city gate; we’ll know right away."

"True," Old Man Wang nodded.

Yesterday that Yin Soul had passed through the City Defense Formation. If this Yin Soul can’t, then it’s definitely not the same one.

Lǚ Bù’s face changed dramatically. He took a big step forward, a palm like a fan swinging hard toward him.

Chu Hao raised his hand and grabbed Lǚ Bù’s huge palm, applying force. "General Lǚ Bù, why so worked up?"

"Bastard!"

Lǚ Bù yanked his hand back, retreated, then raised the Fang Tianhua Halberd. Terrifying Soul Force surged as he slashed down.

Chu Hao suddenly raised his hand, Endless Sword appearing, and clashed with the Fang Tianhua Halberd. Sparks flew as a terrifying shockwave of energy exploded out.

The sheer force of it shocked everyone into retreating.

He blocked it!

All the Generals were stunned.

Lǚ Bù was stunned too. The last time he’d fought Chu Hao, he’d understood the guy’s strength. And in just this short time, he could already block that strike.

"Chu Hao’s strength seems to have gotten stronger."
