Lily had just gotten off the plane and headed straight to the medical center.
She usually had her hands full dealing with Aidan Lucas and taking care of the kids, leaving her no time to browse Twitter or check out any trivial media gossip.
The last time the media interviewed her, asking about her views on Leslie Howard, she just responded in an official manner, not taking the rumors about Leslie accepting hidden rules seriously at all.
But because of the media’s interruption, Mr. Lucas was furious.
He then directly sent out a team of more than twenty bodyguards, following her everywhere, which left Lily feeling helpless and amused. Since then, no media could get close to her even a bit.
Therefore, until now, Lily didn’t know her brother had already publicly declared his love for Leslie Howard online.
Seeing the woman hiding behind David Redington, blushing furiously, Lily was surprised and spoke: "You... you’re Leslie Howard, my eyes aren’t playing tricks on me?"
Suddenly recognizing Leslie’s face, Lily felt a spark of joy in her heart.

She sat next to Leslie, holding her hand, showing no airs of a noble lady at all.
"Sister-in-law, we’ve been so destined for each other since four years ago. I never thought we could become family now. Actually, when I heard on the plane that my brother had brought someone over for a check-up, I was worried he was being deceived. But once I saw it was you, I felt relieved.
Don’t be a stranger, my brother has been single for thirty-one years, and he finally found someone he likes. Our whole family is looking forward to this. From now on, you’re the treasure of our family, and we’ll all cherish you."
Lily’s hands were incredibly soft and comfortable; Leslie suddenly felt the urge to cry while being enveloped by her hands.
She hadn’t felt this way in a long, long time.
This feeling of being cared for and embraced by others is a kind of warmth that belongs to family.
Leslie’s nose tingled slightly, and she tried to speak: "Thank you, Lily, in the future... I’ll cherish you too."
Just as she finished speaking, before Lily could respond, she was pulled back by a large hand beside her, falling into a broad embrace.
David’s eyes flickered slightly, gazing at her: "Only cherish Lily? What about me? Miss Leslie Howard, are you planning to leave me after all this?"
