Chapter 2344: Chapter 2353: Truly Suffering
Seeing the caller was an unfamiliar number, Brooke Black answered it for Jane Sampson.
"Hello, who is this?" Brooke Black glanced at the location of the caller, a bit intrigued, thinking it might have been James Carter or someone from the Carter Family calling.
"Jane Sampson? It’s Stella Carter, do you remember me?" The voice on the phone asked cautiously, "Are you busy right now?"
"Stella Carter? Who’s that?" Brooke Black instinctively looked towards Bright Sampton, guessing, "Someone from the Carter Family?"
The surname Carter usually signifies someone from the Carter Family.
"That sneaky little woman who was badmouthing my sister with Jillian Carter in the film crew!" Bright Sampton quietly prompted from next to her, "Auntie from the Black Family, you forgot, not long ago, she was punished by my Brother James Black and then kicked out of the crew by my sister’s Brother James Carter. She was trying to replace my sister as the female lead while she was recovering, and ended up just becoming a stand-in."
Bright Sampton, fearing he wasn’t clear enough, added, "She’s a distant relative of the Carter Family, considered Brother James Carter’s cousin, but she’s close with Jillian Carter!"
With Bright Sampton’s reminder, Brooke Black immediately remembered who this person was.
Since she wasn’t a good friend of Jane Sampson and had tripped over Jane Sampson and got punished by James Black and James Carter, there was no need to be polite.
"I’m not Jane Sampson, I don’t know you, and Jane has no connection with you, so don’t call her again. If you dare to call Jane again, I’ll make sure you’re banned!" Brooke Black immediately threatened.
"You’re not Jane Sampson?" Stella Carter was taken aback, instinctively asking, "Then who are you?"
"I’m Brooke Black, so remember what I said." Brooke Black finished speaking and directly hung up the phone.
For Stella Carter and those who are close with Jillian Carter, Brooke Black couldn’t be bothered to spare any patience.
"I wonder why Stella Carter is calling my sister at this time." Bright Sampton speculated after Brooke Black put down Jane Sampson’s mobile phone, "Could be trying to dig up some information about my sister, right?"
"Who cares, ignore her, she won’t find out anything. If she doesn’t know what’s good for her, then as a small-time stand-in and newcomer, we’ll just ban her." Brooke Black didn’t take a small-time player like Stella Carter seriously.
This little interlude passed without anyone taking it to heart, and they just dismissed it.

So those waiting outside waited for over four hours.
By the time lunch had passed, Jane Sampson came out of the surgery room, her face a bit pale.

When coming out, Jane Sampson’s arm was covered in medicine; she had to wait 15 minutes before she could put on clothes and wait until the evening to wash it off with water.
"What an ordeal." Brooke Black patted Jane Sampson’s head, "When you have a child, make sure it’s a natural birth."
"Natural birth helps parturients recover faster," Mother Sampton nodded in agreement, "With Jane’s constitution, a natural birth is best."
