Chapter 341: A Mess She Is

’She has four exclusive abilities as well... hmmm! Benevolent Grace, let’s see what you do..." Already knowing what the other three abilities did Dhruv clicked on the only one he had no idea about.

[Benevolent Grace: With this ability, you will continue to exude a passive aura radiating from your body, which has a soothing and tranquil effect.

While in active mode, any spider who hatched in the presence of the aura will see you as their mother and queen, utterly pacified and loyal. Your Benevolent Grace fosters unity and harmony, instilling peace and unwavering devotion among the kin.]

After understanding the description... he couldn’t help but feel its name was quite misleading. In name it mentions benevolence yet it promotes stealing the babies of other monsters.

After reading it Dhruv couldn’t help but thought is there someone out there in the cosmos trolling everyone by giving names like these?

’Hmmm! What type of ability is this?’ Dhruv thought, remembering that all the abilities he experienced till now only had passive mode... but this ability granted both passive and active modes to the user.

’So... she didn’t give birth to the eggs herself... but stole the eggs of other spiders... how should I feel about it... Happy, I guess.’ In the end, Dhruv wasn’t too worried about the stealing aspect of her ability.

In contrast to that, he was somewhat happy after all, he didn’t want to know how this beautiful lady in front of him even laid eggs.

’Brugghhhh! Don’t think about it... don’t think about it...’ Controlling his mind to not go into that shit hole, he focused on what to do with the ability... should he steal it or not.

’Should I copy it or not... ugh! This is a difficult choice. I can always use the passive effect of the ability but...’ Dhruv thought, not finding enough courage to copy this exclusive ability after learning about its active ability.

He didn’t want to become someone’s dad just because he activated his skill. There was no way he was going to become a father without experiencing the whole process.

Although he had done the deed a few times he wasn’t going to decline experiencing the whole thing as nature had intended it to be. Shaking his head Dhruv sighed and moved to the next part of the status.

’Wow! She has even more skills than Azarex... but unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to level up each of them perfectly.’ Looking at the condition of her skill set, Dhruv couldn’t help but think whether she had some sort of shopping addiction or what.

After reading the description of each spell and its uses, Dhruv noticed another pattern... she wasn’t focusing on any particular field she had skills from everywhere.

Sighing he moved to the next part of the status: Mutation.

’What the fuck, man... what’s with these mutations... just how many organs does she have...’ Dhruv thought as he couldn’t help but read all of them.

’A total of 20—20 organs to her name... man, I’m not being jealous or anything like that...’ Calming himself, Dhruv began reading what the uses of those organs were and which field the Archana was mutating more in.

’Sooo! She has two aura enhancers to enhance the Benevolent Grace... well, that seems good. And except for Greater Arcane Web Glands, she doesn’t have any other organs that directly help advance her magic capacity. So, she is more of a physical-type monster...’

Having some confusion Dhruv thought of something and scrolled to the top of her status. Looking at her stats and skills once again he couldn’t help but click his tongue.

’Huh! Boy, she is a mess... she has the best stats for magic, but from what I can see, she doesn’t take that much skill and mutation in the magic route... what exactly was she trying to achieve...’ Dhruv couldn’t help but be disappointed by how she had used her resources.

Making a mental note to tell Aurora and teach her some lessons on how to properly use these things, Dhruv read the rest of the mutations. As he read them, he noticed another thing.

’She doesn’t have any egg-laying skills... so despite literally having "Mother" in her species name, she doesn’t necessarily lay eggs herself.’ Nodding his head, Dhruv turned his face and looked at Archana.

"So, I notice you don’t have any egg-laying organs... do you remember why you made that choice and how you want to proceed from here on out?" Despite it not sounding right, Dhruv knew he had to ask these things eventually, and no time was better than now.

Hearing the question, Archana stopped talking to Vexar and looked at her master. Understanding what he asked for, she tried to remember, but she only managed to get a vivid version of her past. She couldn’t remember anything clearly.

As the information of monsters is mostly stored in their core, except for some unique circumstances, there are chances that one could remember the feelings they had before their death.

Archana was using exactly this to remember her past but it was of no avail... yet.
