Chapter 210: A Fight Worth 2.6 Million CC

"Master, can I talk with Grec now..." Vexar couldn’t stop himself as he asked his Master’s permission to talk with his brother.

"When was I stopping you from doing that..." Dhruv replied as he looked at the third guardian.

"My bad, master..."

Vexar was about to apologize but stopped as he saw Dhruv giggling.

"Never mind me, I was just joking..." Dhruv said as he moved a few blocks away, giving these brothers some private space. While he was moving out, he noticed that Vexar had quickly sprinted toward Grec.

While Dhruv was pondering over something, the conversation between the brothers had just started...

"Grec... My name is Vexar, your bigger brother..." Vexar quickly introduced himself. Looking at Alaric, he muttered, "He is Alaric, our biggest brother..."

"The biggest... biggest..." Grec inquired, his expression showing amazement as if he had just heard the most impressive thing in the cosmos."

"Yes... Biggest." Paying for a bit Vexar continued, "Between him and me, there is another brother... His name is..." he was about to tell the name of the death lord, but Grec cut him off and whispered.

"Let me guess... Okay," the goblin intervened, remembering something he added, "B-but wait, if I won, you will give me that sword," Grec said with a smile on his face.

Vexar was about to reject the proposal as he wouldn’t want to get away from his sword.

Even though Vexar was slow compared to his other brothers, he wasn’t entirely dumb either. Knowing that there was no way for Grec to guess the death lord’s name out of the infinite names, he nodded his head.

"Okay, I agree..." Vexar was so happy that he didn’t even name anything that he might want if Grec were to be wrong.

"The name of our second brother is Aberox..." Grec replied as he brought his hand forward demanding his reward.

The moment he heard the word, a frown appeared on Vexar’s face. Even though he had pronounced it wrong, he knew that Grec knew the answer. Before he could give his sword to the goblin, a voice intervened...

"... you are wrong... Grec.." Alaric cut off in their conversation with a smile on his face.

"How..." Grec asked as he was sure that he had said the same thing.

"See, the name of your second brother is ’ah-zuh-rex’ not ’ah-buh-roks’.." Alaric replied as he showed the green goblin how to properly say the name.

"Ohhh! Right... I guess I lost then.." Grec said as an embarrassed smile appeared on his face.

’He sure is smart. He could reverse access the Mark and know the name of Azarex... this is something that only Master knows how to do after great difficulty... Is it the result of being a tier 4 or is it because he is....smart." Alaric thought as he figured out one of the reasons as to why he could’ve known the name.

Before he could say anything, a voice intervened...

"Grec, don’t try to use Mark for anything except communication or to know the location of others.." Dhruv’s voice echoed in the surroundings.

The moment Grec heard this voice the smile on his face disappeared as he looked toward Dhruv. Bowing his head he quickly apologized, "Sorry about that, master..."

"Well, that was impressive but don’t do that again.." Replying to this, Dhruv got busy with whatever he was doing.

"How did you do that.." finding out that he was right, Alaric tried to peek into the answer.

"You can use Mark like that..." While Alric wants to know, Vexar is trying to find out if that is even possible.

"Yes, you can use it like that... to do that, you just have to send your mana into the mark and let it travel through the system, focus on the signature print of the individual, and with our position as guardians, we have enough access to see the status of others. With having the access to status, you can know the name and other information like that... but sadly, you can’t transfer their coins..." Grec badly explained everything with a sad face.

’Why do I have a feeling that he had gone to loot everyone’s coins and not know the name of Azarex? Maybe knowing the name was a byproduct of that... Sigh! This one is going to be troubling...’ Alaric thought as he looked at the green goblin in front of him.

While Alric had figured this much out, Vexar was still trying to decipher the first sentence. After a minute of nonstop failure, he frowned and just forgot about it.

Looking at Grec, he asked a question, "Grec, do you want to fight me..." he asked to do the only thing he was good at.

"Well, I can fight you, but you need to pay me 1.3 million CC.." Grec said with a smile on his face.

"Promise..." Vexar asked with a straight face.

"Promise.." Grec replied with the same straight face.

Hearing that Grec had promised, Vexar heaved a sigh of relief and replied,

"...Ahhh! Thank god you didn’t ask for much as I have only that much left on me. Okay, I will give you that much money, should we start the fight.." Vexar sighed with a smile on his face.

Listening to this conversation, Alric facepalmed himself and began to dive into the shadow. He had seen enough stupidity today.

"First, transfer the coins, then we can fight..." Grec said with a smile on his face.

"Okay.." Vexar quickly sent all the coins he had in his possession.

"Can we start now..." Vexar asked impatiently.

"We can start, but what will I get if I win the fight..." Grec asked for the prize.

"You can get another batch of that amount of coins..." Having already felt it once, Vexar was careful not to bet his sword this time.

"Okay..." Grec agreed and quickly assumed a fighting position.

Instead of assuming any position, Vexar directly charged toward the green goblin.

...

"Boooommm!" the sound of an explosion disrupted Dhruv. Looking at the fighting siblings, he quickly connected with Alaric.

[Alaric, please keep them safe..]

[On it, master..] Alaric replied with an exhausted-sounding word.

’Well, looks like his task has increased all of a sudden..’ Dhruv thought as he could almost pity the shadow lord.

He didn’t focus on the fight for long and once again focused on the screen in front of him...

"Hmmmm, interesting...." Dhruv thought as he read the description of one of Grec’s exclusive abilities.
