It didn’t take long for the family members to find something wrong with the chamber. The elders had been calling out to the head of the family.
But there was no response whatsoever. The family elders made a decision. They had no choice other than to enter the chamber to take a look.
When these elders entered the chamber room, they were shocked to the core. They saw the dead bodies of the family head and another elder.
The elders were terrified. The blood on their faces was drained. The shock was too much for them. They didn’t know who did it.
The elders all looked at each other. For the time being, they decided to keep the matter a secret. They didn’t know who did it.
Moreover, they had a secret. The Bolton Family had long since betrayed humanity. They had become dogs for the foreign creatures.
If they announced the death of the family head, then the Star University would send someone to investigate.
If the matter of their betrayal was exposed, then their entire family would face death. The elders had a tacit understanding. They decided to hide the matter.
They would investigate the matter on their own. But they didn’t inquire about it from the guards.
If they had asked the guards right away, they would have been told about the warrior from the Star University.
Unfortunately, the elders were cloud-minded right now. They couldn’t think properly. The death of the family head was a huge blow to their hearts and minds.

I exited Brown Creek City in a cab. I didn’t hide my face. I didn’t know whether anyone recognized my face.
But so far, no one has come to cause trouble.
I saw the outside scene through the window. I recalled reviewing the contents last night.
The Bolton Family had ties with other warrior families. All of them were linked to the foreign creatures.
After dealing with the Bolton Family, I had made up my mind to visit the other families. I recalled the next family name to visit.
It was called the "Preslin Family." It was a bloodline family known for their flame rock power. It would not be easy to deal with that family.
I needed to collect intel about the family next. I collected my thoughts and continued to enjoy the passing view.
Exactly 2 hours later,
A new city came into view. There were business shops outside the city as well. I had thought there would only be shops inside the city.
I had not seen businesses operating outside a city before. The city was certainly new.

I saw the welcome sign board. The cab driver landed the cab before the entrance of the city. I stepped out and paid the fare to the driver.
When the cab left the place, I turned towards the city gate. There were people coming and going. The situation seemed to be normal.
The shops outside had busy business as well. The customers were buying things. I thought it was the right place to collect intel.
I went to a shop and began to explore the items.
As time passed, I began to listen to the surrounding conversations. I filtered the noise and only digested the important information.
I also got some intel on the Preslin Family. They had a nickname here. The bloodline warriors of that family were overbearing in the city.
Some of them had committed crimes. But the city officials ignored them and turned a blind eye to their crimes.
After spending some time inside the shop, I went to another shop next. I began to collect intel there.
Time passed.
After noon, I reached the main gate. I showed my Star University Badge. The guards became respectful. They allowed me to enter the city.
Lightford City was larger than Brown Creek City. I understood that after looking at the businesses outside.
I walked inside and found a nice inn nearby. Then I went to the place. The inn had an attached restaurant.
I sat down at an empty table nearby. The servant came to take my order. I asked for recommendations.
The staff suggested a few dishes. Then I ordered them.
In the meantime, I continued to hear the conversations around me. Once again, I heard about the bloodline warriors.
They had a notorious fame. I was also wondering where to start. I could not directly enter their houses like I did with the Bolton Family.
From the city size, it was evident that the population of the place was huge. Therefore, the strength of the Preslin Family must be huge as well.
To think such a family had betrayed humanity. If they turned their backs during a battle, it would cause a huge loss to the human warrior side.
Any kind of scheme and trickery by them was dangerous. I wondered why Dean Jerome hadn’t dealt with them yet.
Suddenly, a commotion occurred. A group of warriors walked into the inn. My gaze fell on them.
The next second, I raised my eyebrows in surprise. The people who had come here were none other than bloodline warriors from the Preslin Family.
The group seated themselves around an empty table and began to talk.
"We need to be ready for the banquet tomorrow."
"Young Master is going to celebrate his birthday. We need to make every arrangement."
The warriors started to discuss it.
Hearing that, I sighed inwardly. I had been worried about how to get such information. I didn’t expect these people to come right here.
I continued to listen to their conversation. The staff came with the dishes. The dishes were served. Then I began to eat.
At the same time, those people ordered their food as well. I learned about the birthday banquet. But only those who were invited could attend.
I decided to find someone with an invitation. I thought the identity of Star University would be useful. Then I continued eating my food.
20 minutes later,
I paid the bill and asked for a room. Rooms were available. I booked a room for today and paid the amount.
Then I got the keys and went to the room.
