Chapter 490: Lessons In Life.
Leo wiped off the sweat and walked out to the living room, while he was pissed off by the constant actions of the Eagle Nation, he was mindful that he needs to take care of his children. He checked on the twins, changed their diapers, and told them, "From now on, if you want to go pee pee you tell me and we will take you to the washroom, you are big babies now, it is not good to use diapers all the time."
The two children smiled widely, and Julian asked, "Baba, when can I get so big that I could walk out of the house alone without telling anyone?"
Leo smiled at him, stroked his hair gently and said, "In the future we will discuss this question again. For now, you not only need to tell me about this, but even need care or company from me."
Elle nodded and replied, "I will go to the roof of that big building with Baba when I grow up."
Leo asked curiously, "What big building?"
Elle smiled and replied, "It is a building that I saw in my dream."
Leo nodded with a smile, he had no idea what his children were thinking at times, but he agreed to them having dreams, may be they would include him in their dreams. As the talk continued, the people waited for a few minutes, before Leo let them sit and play with their own toys and checked on Lily. Turned out that the little girl had not yet finished painting her room, so the door was slightly closed and a sign was hanging from the side, "No intrusion allowed, Lily is painting."
Leo smiled, even the sign board had various designs on it, marked with color paints. Leo smiled and didnโt bother her. He came to the kitchen and the chef present inside was stunned. Leo simply smiled at her, then he picked up an apron from the side, and put it on, before he began to cook. The staff watched it and they were all shocked, the skills that Leo was displaying were all basic but the way he was executing them, it was so novel for them.
The young man smiled the whole time and when he finished, the people all saw a big cake in front of them. Leo smiled and replied, "Please preserve this, we will be cutting it at midnight, you can all have it in the morning."
The chef nodded hurriedly when he came close to the cake and saw the words, โHappy anniversary.โ piped on the surface, he smiled and said, "Congratulations Sir."
Leo smiled and thanked him before he walked out. It was evening, and finally the time when the nocturnal beings would go out to hunt. He sat in the couch and Markus called him, "Hello."
Leo said, and the person said, "Did you get the team?"
Markus affirmed and then he asked, "What is the next step, Sir?"
Leo thought for a bit and then said, "Track all the people who were involved in this matter today, ask Alpha for help. Then give them all a gift of life, some gentle agony would suffice, and located the director of the Utopia Space research center, if he is alive, I want him, and if he is dead, I want his body, or ashes."
Markus nodded with a calm expression, he was almost killed tonight if not for the fact that Leo had Alpha check the situation. The call was disconnected, and then Lily came out of the room, Leo asked, "Shall I serve the dinner for you?"
The little girl nodded, and after a few minutes, Lily sat on Leoโs lap and said, "Baba, I am so tired."
Leo smiled and then he began to serve her the food. After a few minutes, he replied, "Did you finish decorating the room?"
Lily nodded and replied, "Finally, the last one design was hard to make. I had to redo the wings."
Leo raised his brow and asked, "Did you paint a bird?"
Lily hummed after a few minutes, said, "After the paint dries, you can see the room."
Leo nodded with a smile and replied, "Yes, by the way, I have bought the house next door, if you want anything, like a tree house or something else, tell me, we will make it together."
Lily smiled and said, "Yes, I want a tent to camp at night, we cannot go to forest daily."
Leo nodded as he fed her a spoonful, then he sighed a little and replied, "I know, also can you tell Momo to not hunt the Jade Peacocks that are in the house?"
The young lady nodded and replied, "I will, Momo is very intelligent now, she listens to me a lot. Also, she is very fast and agile now. I cannot catch her at all. I wonder if Wonton and Dumpling would become the same."
Leo shrugged and replied, "That would depend on when they grow up. At the moment they are still normal kitties so they donโt have much of a bond with Julian and Elena. However, we can have Momo guide them both into it, so that they understand what it is like to walk along with you."
Lily tilted her head and asked, "Baba, what do you mean by walking along with me? Shouldnโt she be following me?"
Leo shook his head and brushed her hair gently before he said, "You have to respect those who stay by your side and those who are loyal to you. Why must we make these people who stay by our side feel like they are below us? What do we gain from this? Treat them with respect, love. Momo is intelligent and she can understand whatever you say and do. She might not question you, but would you be happy if you ended up breaking her heart?"
The little girl shook her head and said, "Yes, I will be careful in the future Baba."
Leo nodded with a trusting gaze. He knew that his daughter was observant but she had mistaken something, the people who work with him walk half a step behind and this courtesy extends to Lily herself, but that is all because they respect him. She had forgotten that there was a side where he treated these people like his friends and respected them as humans who worked with him and not for him. Today when he was teaching Lily he made sure that she understands the difference between these things.

After the meal, Markus called Leo again, this time he had the complete details about who was involved in the disappearance of the Director of the space research program. The call connected quickly and the young man said, "Sir, Alpha has located the people who are involved in this and we have found where the professor is hidden."
Leo raised his brow and asked, "Where?"
Markus sighed and said, "These fuckers have placed that old man on a moving black site. It is a cargo vessel, or so it would seem but under the floor, it is a max prison. They are holding a few assets there, and it is not something that we can access without getting detected. The vessel is not moving, it is just standing there in the middle of the Eagle Clout Ocean and surrounded by two navy fleets for safety. Although the fleets keep moving, but this vessel doesnโt. We cannot get past the fleets undetected."
Leo thought for a bit and then he said, "How about this, I will handle this, what do you say?"
Markus was surprised and asked, "Sir, how can you do this? It is a risky thing and your life would be in danger."
Leo shook his head and replied, "It would be fine but I am not willing to give up on the Director of my Space Project. These fuckers are going to beg me to forgive them."
Markus sighed, he was wondering how this would work but Leo had made up his mind, at this moment, Lily came over while skipping around, and asked, "Baba, what is it like to do a sleepover?"
Leo shrugged and replied, "It is fun, why do you ask?"
Lily shook her head and replied, "Claire invited me for a sleep over. She also invited the rest of the students from the class, everyone is going. Can I go too?"
Leo thought for a moment and said, "I will talk to your mother and then we will discuss this situation. Okay?"
Lily nodded and asked, "Do you want to see my room or shall we wait for Ma to come home?"
Leo replied, "Let Ma come home. Also, do you want to go next door and see if the mansion suits your taste? You might be able to meet with the Jade Peacocks too?"
Lily was surprised but then she was excited and said, "Yes, I will go."
Leo smiled and then he took the twins and Lily along with him to the house next door.
