Marie's eyes widened for a moment before she burst into laughter.

"Charlotte wants everyone to watch it eat her!?" Marie cried.

"Leave it to her to ask for the most gruesome, cliche titan death ever!"

Helix laughed as well and wiped light tears from his eyes.

"I told her we were gambling with long-term trauma."

Marie's eyes widened in fearful understanding, but Helix's laughing was too contagious.

"But she said, [But Heeeee~llie, that's what [you~re] here fore." He cried.

"We give them the most gruesome, terrifying shit they've ever seen and prove that [you~], a mortal, can skull~fuck it~"

Marie burst into bewildered laughter.

She didn't even know why she was laughing.

Helix's Charlotte voice was god awful, but his words and inflection painted Charlotte's face in her mind instantly.

"So… wait. Charlotte's saying that you're defeating their greatest fear?" Marie chuckled in confusion.

"That's right." Helix said after a deep breath.

He turned to her with a charming smile laced with mischief.

"The super-virgins are critical to success." Helix said with a breathless chuckle.

"So we're giving them the most cliche horror scene to take it seriously.

And then we'll give them the most cliche rescue hero scene ever."

Marie's eyes glittered with excitement.

"Cliche? How cliche?" She asked with enthusiasm.

"We'll start by showing people how to win realistically; I'm not sacrificing that." Helix chuckled.

Marie giggled while giving him a knowing smile.

"It will be the most cringe-worthy hero fight-sequence style scene in history." Helix declared.

"We're even going to recreate—"

"Wait! When did—"

"It's Helix!" Leo cried in excitement.

"He's okay!" Sarah cried.

The otakus and weebs gathered around the perimeter to watch their hero.

"CHARLOTTE! PREPARE ZERO!" Helix roared as he ran full speed.

He had gotten off the ground with very few people watching.

His sword was twenty feet away.

Twenty feet was [nothing] to Helix, so he grabbed at a ghostly speed.

"READY!" Charlotte yelled in a strained voice.

Her voice was low.

However, the amplification circle smoothed the communication, reminding Masov and Oakley of its general usefulness.

No one had thought to attack the circles [to their clothing].

"[Do~main]~" Charlotte chimed under her breath.

Helix jumped 40 feet in the air.

Marie and Charlotte could jump that high.

Could he jump that high? Hell no.

Lower gravity flung him forward, making him appear like a vengeful war god.

"[Wind Dance]." Riley whispered under her breath.

Helix slashed down on the Lagrock's arm in a brutal display of force.

BOOOOM CRAAAHHHK!

A sickening crack followed the boom that broke the sound barrier.

Do swords make a booming sound? No way.

However, [they do] if the person hits a living rock with inhumane force, people can [see] it crack scales, and no one can prove otherwise.

A shockwave of visible air followed, ruffling his clothing and hair in the wind.

It shot him away from the arm before an explosion of blood could assault him.

Could Helix send visible air shockwaves? Absolutely not.

[Wind Dance] created the illusion, making him look like a hero.

"NOW!" Helix yelled as he flew through the air.

He grabbed a magic circle behind him as he fell towards the earth.

It glowed with stunning blue light.

"[ZERO]!" Charlotte screamed.

"[WIND DANCE]!" Riley roared.

A powerful gust of wind assaulted everyone on the wall.

The wind wrapped itself around Charlotte and hurled her away.

It wasn't [gentle], but the combination of zero gravity and wind made the fall reasonable.

"Wait! I get jumping extremely high." Marie cried.

"But you're even having Riley create visual wind shockwaves!?"

Helix burst into laughter.

"Of course. It's not like a tiny sword can cut off a [titan's] arm." He chuckled in bewilderment.

Marie burst into laughter again too.

"So we need something cringe-worthy-ly loud and for the air shockwaves to hit me." Helix laughed.

"My straight black hair will wave beautifully in the massive moon's light before sending me back to the earth."

Marie was [dying].

Helix's mocking reenactment was so damning to otakus everywhere that she couldn't help but laugh.

If she saw the scene, an eyebrow would have gone up.

She'd believe it because Helix's Nightmare was so broken people couldn't question it.

However, she'd spent months of sleepless nights trying to figure out how something so cringe-worthy existed in the real world.

"I'm doing it for the culture, of course." Helix laughed.

"Is that so…." Marie questioned with narrowed eyes.

"You're so pragmatic, but you do a~lot of things for the culture."

Helix gave her a charming smile.

"Of course I do." He confirmed.

"What type of second-rate otaku abandons their people for real life?"

Marie burst into giggles.

"I guess you're right."

Helix gave her a warm gaze.

He loved seeing her happy and vibrant with energy.

"So~Dr. Cliche and Mr. Realist, how will you turn the narrative back to the soldiers?" Marie asked playfully.

Helix didn't sigh or cringe.

His cringe factor hadn't even reached peak form in his eyes.

"We'll get rid of the evidence, wash away the blood, make it impossible to use an intent spell, and demonstrate the power of trapping…."

Helix paused for dramatic effect, and Marie watched with bated breath.

"And feed my manhood. I'm sorry, no matter how old I get—"

Helix hit the ground and rolled, but his gravity was much lower.

He pulled out another magic circle.

"[CONTAINMENT CHARGE CHAIN TRIGGER]!" He roared at full volume.

Was it necessary to yell so loud? Hah. Hilarious.

Helix needed all eyes on deck to watch the finale.

A battle disc in his hand glowed with a searing white light, giving it a godly appearance.

Everyone forgot about pure Charlotte, who had canceled her amplification circle so no one could hear her laughing.

That's what Helix needed.

He listened to the gasps of everyone on the castle's walls with an evil grin.

It was showtime.

The Lagrock started glowing with various shades of the same golden light.

There were circles on the ground, in the crater, and underneath it.

The area was drowning in magic circles, reminding them that Helix [announced] he was setting traps and not just fortifying spells.

It illuminated its arm, which was not cut in half.

However, it was hanging limply after its humerus bone equivalent was shattered.

It was much more powerful and disturbing to see.

The Lagrock's face contorted in pain in confusion for all to see.

Then—

BOOOOM! BOOM! Boom! Boom. BOOM! Boom. BOOOOOOOM!

Explosions rocked the area around the Lagrock.

"GOOOOOOOOOOORRRRN!"

The Lagrock roared with pain as massive fires spread around the area.

While the area was blazing with heat, the Containment Charge Triggers did not spread the explosion far.

"You're such a man." Marie giggled.

"Is there a problem with that?" Helix asked with a charming smile.

"No." She giggled.

"It just amazes me how… normal you are sometimes."
