Marie's eyes widened in shock.
"M-Mid s-sex!?" She cried.
She remembered the craters in the pillar.
"Yes. The ideas we came up with were… inspired." Helix replied with a slight smile.

Charlotte crashed back first into the pillar.
She grabbed the lower part of his neck to lift herself into position again.
"That blood seal kiss… was everything. So… deadly. So… exciting~" Charlotte whispered breathlessly.
Helix gave her a wicked smile and connected their lips.
After a passionate kiss, she pushed back against his chest.
"What… What if… I screamed your name after you're hurt, and hit~it with [Exodus Flame] in an impassioned rage—Heeeeelie~!" Charlotte screamed in pleasure.
Helix scoff-laughed with a satisfied grin.
He loved the idea, but he was playing the teaser for the first time and loved that more.
"Like… Like that… But with more hellfire and rage." She chuckled breathlessly with madness in her eyes. "It'd be sooooo~hot~"
"Oh, shut up. No, scratch that. I'll make you." Helix replied with a wicked grin.
She played off her name-calling [too] smoothly, and he wouldn't let her get the upper hand this time.
"Yes~siiiiir—Ahhhhh~!" Charlotte screamed in pleasure.

"I-I see…." Marie replied while blushing furiously.
She thought she was immune to Charlotte's escapades—she was wrong.
Helix chuckled and gave her a charming smile.
"Afterward… we started testing our plans."
Marie snapped out of her daze, triggering one of his half-smiles.
"She threw massive rocks at me and used [Gravity Dance] to—"

Rubbbbulerrrrublerrrublerrruble….
"Wait…!" David cried in a panic.
"Watch out, boy!" Macron roared at the top of his lungs.
"Charlotte!" Helix cried.
"GOOOOOOOOOOORRRRN!"
Helix jumped in the air backward with all his might.
"[Gravity Dance]!" Charlotte cried.
He jumped higher than usual, and his body glided.
"[Wind Dance]!" Riley called out.
"It's moving too fast! Please slow it down enough that my barrier can kick in!" Helix yelled breathlessly.
"I can't pass out, or everyone will fucking die!"
A small [Wind Wall] created a small barrier around his body.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The Lagrock fell to the earth violently after being hit by a massive earth pike.
Blood spilled out violently to the earth in a gruesome display of force.
As its hand fell forward in Helix's direction, a large boulder carried by [Wind Dance] passed through the Lagrock to hit him.
The boulder slowed when it hit the [Wind Wall], and the Lagrock glitched unnaturally for a fraction of a second.
It was just enough time for his barrier to kick in fully.
The rock shattered Helix's barrier, slowing the rock hitting his body.
"Gah!" Helix coughed out blood, and his mind went hazy.
The moment he lost full concentration, [gravity pushed him down instantly].
It allowed the boulder to pass over his body without the momentum dragging him farther.
Helix flew fifty feet across the battlefield, and his body [lightened with gravity before impacting the earth].

"So, while it seems extreme, we practiced getting hit and smoothing the fall." Helix explained.
"That's actually… an incredible way to train…." Marie whispered in his belief.
Her eyes glided to the left and started admiring Charlotte's madness.
Helix was insane for playing into it, but now that it wasn't in the bedroom, she could understand their connection.
"[Nightmare Infusion] will use part of the spirit particles to create a wind barrier to ensure my barrier activates when the rock hits me." He continued with a gentle gaze.
"Then—"

Helix hit the ground rolling after the impact, and [Wind Dance] rolled him at a speed that avoided his face hitting the earth.
The impact wouldn't have knocked Helix out, but he endured countless painful trials to [ensure] he wouldn't pass out and expose his secret.
Everything happened in a split second.
"HEEEEELIX!" The otakus and weebs cried.
"Hellieeeee!" Charlotte screamed [in an impassioned rage].

"That eases my concerns." Marie replied with a sigh of relief.
"But… I don't understand why you're intentionally taking a risk and allowing yourself to get hurt."
Helix gave her a self-deprecating smile.
"It's shameless storytelling." He replied with shameful eyes.
"The most famous and influential story motif in history—"

Helix winced in pain.
"That seriously fucking hurt." He chuckled between wheezing.
He was putting on a solid show before getting up.
Helix was masterfully recreating the Hero's Journey motif with the [hero's death and resurrection].
The hero goes on a quest, faces countless trials, learns a lesson, and returns home.
Then they die during a crisis and are reborn to save the day.
The story plays out through various legends in history.
The Odyssey, the story of Jesus, Hercules being gifted the right to stay on Mount Olympus after killing the Hydra, and too many cringe-worthy anime and light novel characters to count.
As he played dead on the ground, he could hear the otakus and weebs screaming in agony.
"I'm an asshole." Helix cringed in self-loathing.

Marie burst into bewildered giggles.
She lifted her hand to her mouth to hide her face once she saw Helix looking dead inside.
Her eyes couldn't get wider, and she eventually succumbed to her desire to close them.
Light tears were rolling down her cheeks.
"I can… I can tell this is important…." Marie giggled while wiping light tears from her eyes.
Helix gave her a pathetic expression.
He was miserable.
"Because… you'd never intentionally hurt yourself…." She giggled.
"And… you'd [definitely] never let yourself do something so shameless."
Helix scoff-laughed breathlessly.
He'd be cringing if Marie weren't flashing him stunning smiles.
"This… is probably worse than the anonymous harem card." Marie cried with laughter.
Helix chuckled with a slight smile.
He was reminded of everything she did in Alzeria on his behalf and that she was still with him.
It filled his heart with joy.
"So… are you going to rush in to save the day?" Marie giggled.
Helix gave her a charming smile.
"Of course. By Charlotte's request, I'm going to save [her] life."
Marie's eyes widened in astonishment.
"I never thought she'd allow herself to play the damsel…." She chuckled in bewilderment.
Helix gave her a mocking grin.
"Marie. You should know this by now." He chuckled playfully.
"Charlotte will do [anything] to play the trickster."
Marie's eyes widened, and her face flushed with embarrassment.
She thought back to the countless incidents of her debauchery.
Then she burst into giggles again.
"I can't WAIT to see this!" Marie cried.
"Everyone will understand how [I feel] nightly, for once!"
Helix burst into laughter.
"Well, you'll get your wish."
