The men looked at Helix, who was standing with a calm demeanor.

He was in a new position as he casually moved around to avoid the battle.

However, he looked the same in all regards.

"You were insulted? Of what?" Saul gave the men a murderous gaze.

He waited for the men to speak.

They started stuttering in shock, aside from the man knocked out by Saul's kick.

"Well? There are 500 of you clowns.

Why are you all insulted? You have five seconds to start answering before I start breaking bones as I promised."

"I-I… Uh… It's T-Tyrene, this boy isn't Alzerian, h-he's not w-worthy of her l-legacy." One of the men cried.

"Hoh? Are you saying that General Tyrene isn't competent in who she hands her legacy to?" Saul asked mockingly.

"T-That's not what he's sayin'! He's sayin' that we're trying to respect her legacy."

Saul turned to the original man with disdain in his eyes.

"Respect? Winter General Tyrene told you not to give this boy trouble with her voice." He laughed bitterly.

"Yet attacked the boy the next day against her will, yet you tell me you're trying to respect her?"

The man froze in shock and fear.

He could see the unbridled rage in the guard beginning to boil over.

"I-I…."

"I don't like this boy either." Saul said with murderous eyes.

"I don't completely trust him and don't feel he's capable of fighting for Alzeria in a leadership capacity."

"T-Then why are ya protectin' him?" The drunk man stuttered.

"Because General Tyrene does!" Saul roared.

The men crawled backward in fright.

"General Tyrene put her faith in this man.

Therefore, so will I!

Why? Because I trust my general and her judgment!

You're a soldier. You follow orders and trust your general.

It's what you do! That's especially true of General Tyrene." Saul sneered.

The men swallowed nervously.

"Now tell me the real reason you feel insulted because I know for a fact you don't give a shit about General Tyrene."

The men shook with fear.

"Three seconds. My patience is wearing thin." Saul barked.

"I-It's because h-he waltzed in here, and now he's a-actin' like he owns the place." The drunk man stuttered.

"Hoh? You're finally talking sense. That pisses me off too." Saul laughed.

He turned to Helix aggressively.

"T-Then why—"

"Did you not just hear me?" Saul asked while walking up to the man.

"Because my general told me to."

The drunk man started shaking in fear as Saul lifted his sword about the man's neck.

"Now shut your damn mouth." Saul demanded.

He pulled his sword away and circled the area to see every man's face.

Helix sighed a breath of relief, knowing the guard wasn't planning to kill the men.

"Yeah. It annoys the shit out of me.

Moreover, I'm finding it difficult to trust the young man." Saul announced.

"Let me tell you why.

He's ridiculously strong and capable—that's why."

"W-What." The man who lost his sword asked.

Saul scoffed and gave the man an annoyed expression.

"He's worthy enough for Tyrene, and he's been proving it."

He gave Helix a side-long glance with narrowed eyes.

"Usually, if a person is strong but isn't capable, the army will just kill them if they're a problem." Saul explained.

"However, this boy showed up two days ago, and he already has a thousand allies of various statuses and levels of loyalty.

Nobles. Soldiers. Even generals are considering him.

He has those rowdy, Earthian liabilities under control for the first time, but he also holds their loyalty.

Lastly, he has some strange international fame now.

This boy is already too powerful to kill in political standing.

That isn't counting his inhuman strength or the absurd power of his girlfriends."

Saul scoffed in disdain for Helix and the men.

"Someone with that much power can rock the foundation of the kingdom.

That's why I don't trust him.

It has nothing to do with his personality, history, or intentions.

I just don't trust anyone with that much power."

Helix chuckled under his breath, and his expression showed his understanding.

The guard was making a good point.

Helix needed power quickly, and he used his connections and power to obtain it at a sketchy speed.

Moreover, any one of his partners is a nuclear-grade threat to any kingdom in Myriad.

He and his partners were a walking coup d'etat—and they knew it.

Saul turned his gaze back to the men.

He was mildly satisfied that Helix at least understood the gravity of his position.

The men swallowed.

Their pain was feeling unbearable, and their fear and adrenaline were the only things pushing them forward.

"But guess what? We have no choice either way." Saul sneered.

The men looked at him in confusion.

"I'll remind you that you didn't give a damn about General Tyrene's words.

You'd be reminded that this boy is here to help the kingdom if you did.

The two were on their way back here, and General Tyrene took him to fight a Colossus stronger than she was on the way back.

With that in mind, your arguments are irrelevant."

Saul gave the men a disgusted expression.

"Your jealousy will get this kingdom destroyed. It sickens me."

The guard looked at Helix.

"Let's go."

Helix nodded and started walking away.

However, Saul stopped after a few steps.

"Oh. And if you're arguing that you're fighting in favor of Alzeria, don't attack a Royal Guard."

The three conscious men recoiled in fear.

"I-I was r-right!" One of them whispered to the drunk man.

They started panicking as a group.

"Make sure you relay my message about following your general to your 500 buddies." Saul demanded coldly.

"Otherwise, I'll see you all hang."

Saul continued walking with Helix.

After thirty seconds of silence, Helix turned to him.

"Thank you for honoring Master Tyrene's will."

"Look, I didn't do it for—"

The guard froze and chuckled bitterly.

He expected Helix to thank him for his help, not for his purpose.

"You're welcome." Saul replied after a moment of thought.

Then he started walking again.

Saul was walking Helix back to his quarters.

"Sir Helix." He called out after a minute of silence.

"Yes, Sir Saul? If that's your title." Helix replied.

He didn't understand the strange custom of using the first name as a title.

On Earth, the title is in the surname.

So he would be Sir Margrave instead of Sir Helix.

"It is. I have a question for you." Saul said with a cold voice.

"Sure. I'll answer if I can safely do so." Helix nodded.

Saul gave him a mocking glance.

"I want to know what you did to me during our fight."
