"It's a cultured item of magnanimous proportions and stylish enough to justify wearing it.

It's only recommended for young teens that don't have creepy uncles or stalkers."

The otakus burst into laughter.

They knew what was coming.

"Anyone want to guess what item I'm talking about Helix grinned."

"Sailor suit!" Lilly yelled.

"Yeah, sailor suit!"

Soon the entire auction house devolved into chaos.

Helix pulled it out.

"Bingo! One gold, let's go!"

"Every auction has a trump card as the last item of the night!" Helix roared.

Every otaku roared at the top of their lungs.

"I know there's a few dozen of you that haven't bid on a single thing because you knew what was coming!"

"YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

The noble's eyes widened with shock.

Whatever the item was, it was the most important item to the Earthians.

Everyone held their breath.

"While this may not be a final act for the nobles, but what do you think!?"

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Battle cries.

Blood-thirsty battle cries.

Those are the only words that could describe the absurd enthusiasm of the otakus.

"Nobles and Elites! You are about to feast your eyes on the most legendary cosplay of all time!" Helix announced in a bold voice.

"This item is of the Samma Earthian collection!" He continued.

The nobles' eyes lit up with excitement.

"Is it high fashion? Absolutely not! However!" Helix roared.

He panned the otakus.

The men and women had sparkling eyes.

"This strange piece has legendary control over a large subset of the world's population!

Many people go crazy over it! It has immortal influence and is depicted in countless forms of entertainment!"

The nobles' eyes widened.

Their hearts started pounding.

Their breathing became ragged.

"This is an item of high culture!" Helix continued with a booming voice.

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

"As you can see, the men and women are both salivating over the sight of them!" Helix roared.

"The women want them, the men want a woman so they can convince them to wear them."

Laughter and raging applause exploded in the auction house.

"Any male that buys one will have their servant wear them every night!"

He panned the gazes of the male otakus and webs with narrowed eyes.

"Don't you DARE try to deny it!" He demanded with a wicked grin.

"YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

The area burst into laughter and thunderous applause.

"There are only ten! Ten! Ten of these!" Helix yelled.

"Ten for the whole of Alzeria!

There's another ten for Kozen!

And that's it! For the next season, there will only be ten!

That means twenty total worldwide!" Helix announced melodically.

The nobles started screaming with excitement and enthusiasm.

"Except the six pairs I have for MY WOMEN!

I'm a man, and I begged Samma to make these!

I'm a lowlife degenerate, and I'm way too happy to care!"

Roaring laughter exploded from the auction house again.

Charlotte was grinning.

Marie was blushing.

Riley was giggling.

Their hearts were pounding.

"Ladies! Please demonstrate the hyper-exclusive products of Samma's Earthian collection!"

The three reached into their item storage and pulled out their cat ears.

The moment the otakus saw their War Goddess' wearing them, their faces turned bright red.

Everyone's hearts started pounding.

The nobles felt strange and drawn to them.

Marie, Charlotte, and Riley made their way to the stage.

Charlotte was model strutting, and Marie tried her best to do the same.

Riley walked elegantly with a bright smile on her face.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Nobles and Knights! Alzerians and Thymians!" Helix roared.

"Samma's Exotic Fashion Bizarre officially brings cosplay cat ears…."

Helix panned the gazes in a flash.

He made eye contact with Eliza, who was bright red.

She was examining the [cat ears] with envy and shame.

"TO MYRIAD!"

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

The nobles were coughing up blood.

Excitement, fervor, and lust were exploding from their pores.

No one could explain the reason that they felt the way they did.

However, no one could deny it.

Everyone was being dragged away by the heat of the moment.

After the heated war cries died down, Helix raised his hand.

"If you want to know what the strange feeling in your chest is, I'll explain it to you!" Helix announced with a confident voice.

"These three women are the most powerful people in Myriad.

Every stat they possess… is above 1000!"

Gasps exploded from the mouths of everyone present.

"Marie! Touch the ceiling!" Helix requested.

The nobles looked up.

The ceiling was fifty feet in the air!

Marie squatted down with her cat ears and blasted into the sky.

She reached the top and touched the ceiling with her fingertips within a second.

Before they could process what they saw, Helix called out.

"Riley, catch her!" Helix ordered.

Marie was five feet above the ground on the other side of the stage.

Riley disappeared from her location.

The crowd panned their eyes to Marie.

She was already in Marie's arms.

"Charlotte… don't do anything. I don't want this building to collapse."

A chuckle followed.

Then another.

One more.

The entire auction house burst into laughter.

They were bewildered by what they had just seen.

What they heard was so perplexing they couldn't process it.

But the words broke their minds because they had just watched the impossible.

Everything happened in a matter of seconds.

"Ladies and gentlemen! I'm not showing off the strength of my partners frivolously!" Helix announced.

His words snapped everyone out of their daze.

"These beautiful women were given the official titles of War Goddess' from the 88th Brigade of the Kozen Royal army."

Bewildered gazes from the nobles followed.

They gasped in astonishment.

"They're strong, powerful, and deadly beyond comparison!" Helix declared with a devious smile.

"Yet they're so incredibly cute right now it can make you sick!

That is the limitless power of cosplay cat ears!"

A moment of stunned silence.

Rolling waves of gasps.

The sound of a damn cracking.

Then a single battle cry.

Law and order collapsed.

Myriad exploded.

The end.

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

"There are three pairs of cat ears for the otaku auction!

Two pairs of cat ears for the nobles tonight!

Two pairs of cat ears for the nobles tomorrow!

And one mysterious pair of cat ears that may show up in the future if they feel like it!" Helix roared.

"Bidding starts at one gold coin. Go!"

"Five hundred!"

"Seven hundred!"

"One thousand!"

"Fifteen hundred!"

"Sixteen hundred!"

"Sold to Kara for seventeen fifty!" Helix announced.

Kara bounced to the stage and picked up her cat ears without obtaining confirmation.

"Next set! Brown with white highlights!" Helix continued.

"One hundred!"

"One thousands!"

"Sold to Max for sixteen hundred!"

"Last pair!" Helix announced with a grin.

He made eye contact with everyone present.

"Thank god payday is coming up because there's one word that will bankrupt you instantly." Helix declared with an evil grin.

Everyone in the auction house stopped breathing.

"Pink."

Battle cries ripped through the room.

Helix reached into his item storage and pulled out the hot pink and white cat ears.

Pandemonium and chaos broke out in the room instantly.

People started arguing with each other.

Some started begging their friends for money.

"I'll give you five minutes to make your negotiations." Helix chuckled.

"You don't need to own them.

You can share them or create a cat ear guild for all I care."

Helix looked at Miskie with an evil grin.

Rental service.

Those were the words that he sent to the young woman.

Her eyes narrowed in understanding.

She was about to break the souls of every male present.

But she would provide a service that made Tarok cards look like a joke.

"Five minutes are up! One gold coin. Go!"

"Five hundred!"

"One thousand!"

"Two thousand!"

The nobles' eyes were shocked beyond belief.

"Three thousand!"

"Five thousand!"

The auction house fell silent in an instant.

Miskie got out of her chair and walked to the stage without asking anyone's opinion.

Helix laughed in bewilderment.

He knew what she was doing.

Miskie was making a statement.

She outbid people to an exorbitant degree.

The reason was simple: she wanted everyone to know they couldn't be bitter, and she would bleed them [dry] to reclaim her investment.

"I don't take it anyone else has business operations here?" Helix chuckled as he panned the crowd.

"Didn't think so." He added with a chuckle.

He handed the pink cat ears to Miskie while laughing his head off.

"Hey! Why are you so down?" Helix asked with an exasperated laugh.

"Hasn't anyone met Miskie? I've known her for two days and I already know what she's doing."

He panned the otakus' gazes with a wide grin.

"Miskie is going to rent those cat ears out for a hundred gold coins as night." Helix laughed.

"Exorbinant? Maybe. But now you have a chance in the next three to six months to live out your fantasy without bankrupting yourself."

The room fell silent in contemplation.

"So thank her, idiots!" Helix laughed.

Suddenly the reality of the situation caught up.

After a moment of stunned bewilderment, cheers started exploding in the auction house.

Helix was eating it up.

He was advertising her services for free.

However, she solved the [jealousy] problem for him.

Three people would be super smug if they owned them exclusively.

The others will follow when Miskie starts raking in serious money.

Then there wouldn't be a shortage of cat ear fantasies to fulfill.

All of the people that saved their money for the end wouldn't have any bitterness issues either.

That's why he pointed out the opportunity.

It was working out like a charm.

Helix turned his gaze to the nobles.

"Green, I take it?" He grinned.

Their signs shot up instantly in the affirmative.

"One gold coin! You may begin!"

"One thousand!"

"Two thousand!"

"Two thousand five hundred!"

"Twelve thousand!"

"Fifteen thousand!"

"Seventeen thousand!"

"Sold for eighteen thousand five hundred!" Helix yelled.

"Light pink! Go!"

"Cat ears sold for twenty-one thousand!" Helix announced with a booming voice.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming to this historic auction!

Give it up for Samma Shaw's return!"
