"This filthy Earthian has the gall to impersonate a legend? Hah!" A third said.

"Gentlemen. This is a misunderstanding." Helix sighed.

"If you give me a moment, I can prove—"

"Shut the hell up!" Saul roared.

"Saul! Calm down! Tyrene is—"

"Tyrene is what!?" He gruffed.

"Tyrene is dead! Helix is—" She cried.

"What!? She's dead!? And her pin is on him!?" Another man roared.

One of the men grabbed Eliza and jumped to the left.

Saul rushed Helix in a blind rage, slashing at his shoulder diagonally.

Helix sighed internally.

Now that he had cultivator-level power, he understood the temptation to meet any problem he faced with force.

"W-What the fuck!" Saul roared.

Helix just stood there and took the blade to the shoulder.

Saul was staring at Helix's coat with disbelief.

It wasn't scathed in the slightest.

He had a much higher Level than 157! He was a Royal Guard.

Helix mentally grinned when he saw the man panicking.

He was acting, and it was working.

"Please calm down, and I will explain." Helix requested calmly.

"F-Fuck your explanation, boy!" Another yelled while unsheathing his sword.

"I'm not looking for trouble. Please let me prove the authenticity of this pin peacefully." He sighed.

"It's real!? Tyrene's dead, and [you're] using her pin!?"

Another sword shot at him, and he dodged effortlessly.

Another strike, another dodge.

Soon three guards were attacking.

Helix stood no chance in a normal sword fight at their skill level.

It would take years of training before he could battle at a master.

But his skill didn't matter because he had a broken agility stat.

"STOP IT!" Eliza screamed at the top of her lungs.

The entire arena froze.

Almost everyone was already looking at Helix.

Either they were envious, or they looked over when the guard yelled.

Then everyone started attacking.

So when she yelled, everyone was stunned.

"Lady Lilac! You must get away—"

A loud slap rang out.

Saul was frozen for a moment.

His face flushed with anger, and he turned in the attacker's direction.

When he did, his face paled.

Eliza was giving him a murderous gaze.

"Sir Helix told you he'd prove the legitimacy of the pin!" She yelled.

"You animals started attacking him with intent to kill without explanation, without listening, and without verifying!"

"Y-Your—"

Another loud slap rang out.

"Shut up! Shut your damn mouth before you're permanently relieved of your service Mark!"

The men shook.

"Sir Helix. If you have proof of what you claim, please take it out." Eliza ordered.

Helix closed his eyes and nodded.

He hated his life.

The last thing he wanted to do was publicly disclose his relationship with Tyrene and her death.

Helix touched his neck.

A moment later, tw battle discs came out.

"Lady L—"

Helix unleashed [Desync] on Saul, and the man started wobbling.

It was [Nightmare Hallucination] but the spell was explainable with the Ghost Walker Trigger equivalent.

"It's a Circle of Remembrance." He asserted coldly.

Then he released his Nightmare and showed the man the circle.

His face flushed with embarrassment.

"T-Then why—"

"It's so I can throw it at people when they attack me.

Tyrene knew that would happen, so she recorded these discs." Helix sighed.

The man shook.

Eliza's eyes widened.

The entire arena was listening with bated breath.

Marie was cringing, Riley was worried, and Charlotte was suppressing her urge to murder all five of them.

Helix activated the circle, and Tyrene's voice barked at the men.

When they heard her legendary voice, their faces paled instantly.

"I, Grandmaster Winter General Dame Tyrene Masney, give this brat my metals, emblems, pins, and general cape.

His name is Helix Hellsgate Margrave, and he's my idiot apprentice.

I gave my sword, cloak, and armor to his girlfriends, Marie Skybolt, Charlotte Kline, and Riley SInger.

If you have a problem with that, I'll rip your windpipe out and play it like a flute."

The men shivered and trembled in fear.

"I don't blame you, I have no idea who you are, and I don't remember this happening." Helix sighed.

"So, will you please put your swords away?"

"W-Why…." Mark whispered with tears in his eyes.

Tyrene was their trainer and their general.

They couldn't believe that Tyrene gave Earthians all of her metals and gear.

"Master Tyrene died fighting that thing behind you.

Its skull is not only a present for Princess Eliza; it's also a present for Alzeria and all of her soldiers." Helix sighed with sadness in her eyes.

"When it stole her life, I made sure that we got its head as a reminder of what we lost that day."

The men started tearing up, and Eliza's eyes shook.

"I'm her apprentice. While she taught and oversaw mass training, we four are the only apprentices she has ever taken on.

We became very close during that time, almost like family.

Before she died, she gave me lessons on becoming a general." Helix continued.

All six looked at him with astonished eyes.

"She recorded her will on the trip back to Alzeria to fight an attack on the Capital and stopped to fight a fifth-evolution Level 387 Stalkwalker Colossus.

It was a time she was prepared to die.

As for my role, if you don't know or have forgotten, I'll soon lead a battle against monsters attacking Alzeria.

My leadership potential is why she gave me the general cape and pin to wear.

Master Tyrene gave me the medals to distribute to others, museums, past students like Macron, or current generals.

I'm not walking around trying to pick fights with soldiers; I'm doing this upon her request."

Helix stopped speaking and looked to the five men for any form of confirmation.

The men were frozen in disbelief and didn't know what to say.

"Please keep this Circle of Remembrance, and take this one as well." Helix requested while touching his neck.

He pulled out a small, thin disc with a magic circle.

"Master Tyrene created fifty copies of this Circle of Remembrance for her troops.

It's a farewell message to her troops and past students.

She loved you all. So please take it. "

Helix pushed the circle in Saul's direction.

The man reached out and grabbed it with a shaky hand.

Helix bowed after that.

Tilo setup fifty to record simultaneously with [Chain Activation], so the circle audio quality was variable.

He hoped they'd get one of the best because they were Royal Guards.

"Lady Lilac, this is an emotional topic for all of us, and I apologize for getting you caught up in it.

Please accept this ticket to the Exclusive Samma Exotic Fashion Bizarre auction tonight." He requested.

Eliza accepted it hesitantly.

"I…." She whispered in regret and sadness.

Her guilt for bringing trouble to Helix felt high.

The idea he came back after countless assassination attempts only for Royal Guards to try killing him the [second day] was heartbreaking.

"I took no offense to this and expected it to happen.

I don't even remember it.

Thank you for helping defuse the situation." Helix said with a bow.

"I believe it's best if you leave for now so your guards have time to listen to their general's words."

Eliza's eyes trembled, and light tears welled up.

Helix looked up and gave her a gentle smile and nod.

Then he turned around and walked back to Charlotte.

He wanted to calm her down before trouble broke out.

The Royal Guards watched him walk away with mixed emotions.

They couldn't believe they tried to murder Master Tyrene's apprentice.

Not only that, Helix could have killed them all but didn't lay a hand on them.

That was lucky.

He could have killed Princess Eliza without knowing her position with his strength.

That was their fault.

Lastly, and worst of all, he was so kind and respectful that it hurt their soul.

Eliza turned around in anger.

"Saul. Mark. All of you. You owe that boy a massive apology." She sneered.

"You just attacked the most important person in this city.

He's our benefactor, and we're still indebted to him since the last time people tried killing him."

She walked away, livid with rage.

The guards fell silent and followed her.

When they got to the gates, she spoke.

"We're going to the auction tonight. You can beg for forgiveness then as a Royal Guard."

"Y-Your Maj—"

"You fool!" Eliza snapped while turning around.

"Helix knows who I am! He knows my voice!" She barked.

They trembled in fear. The guards had never seen her so angry and felt she could ask to see them hang.

"I saved his life the last time people tried to kill him!

Or did you not hear that part of his speech!?" Eliza yelled outside of the stadium.

"Probably not because you were rationally afraid of him because he killed that beast.

Then you attack someone strong enough to kill it [in front of me]!?"

The men's eyes trembled with shame and humiliation.

"Or what about the part when he was leading the fight against the [attack on the Capital]!?

Did you not connect that part of his speech to the lockdown order and mass evacuations outside our walls!?" She screamed in a vitriolic rage.

"Most importantly, Tyrene was [with] Helix because he saved our city!

Now he returns to protect us after being cut down, and you repay him by trying to take his life the minute he returns!?"

Eliza turned around again and started stomping away.

"You're going to tell him sorry tonight, or I won't defend you when the Queen sees you hang!"
