Ajax was on the back of a large purple coloured dragon as he just entered the middle section of the cursed wilderness from the cursed abyss.
From the location of the dimensional crevice in the cursed abyss, the shortest distance was to fly over the middle section of the cursed abyss. So, Ajax ordered the destructive twilight dragon to fly over it.
'Twilight, I think we got some company,'
For some reason, Ajax felt that he was being followed by someone; however, when he turned back to look, that feeling vanished into thin air.
Nevertheless, he was pretty much sure that someone was following him and slowly transmitted his voice to the dragon.
'Roar'
When he heard Ajax's words, the dragon roared in response as though it had also sensed someone behind them.
'Swoosh'
"Twilight, fly downwards,"
All of a sudden, Ajax felt something was coming at him and hurriedly ordered the dragon to fly downwards because if he continued to fly in the sky, then he was an open target for someone who was following him for a while now.
Even though his dragon was fast, he was unable to dodge something that was thrown at them.
'Boom'
Only when it came near, Ajax was able to see what it was; however, it was very late to escape as an explosion happened when that thing touched the left wind of the dragon.
'Swoosh'
'Thud'
With the blast, the dragon lost its balance and fastly descended towards the ground and with a loud 'Thud' sound it fell onto the ground.
'Damn it,'
Soon, Ajax stood up from the ground and looked at the injured dragon beside him and cursed the one that sneaked on them.
'Thank god, you are not injured seriously,'
The first thing he did was to check on the dragon and only after that, he heaved a sigh of relief.
"Go back into the inner world for now and heal your injuries. I will take revenge on your behalf," Ajax patted the huge head of the dragon and sent it into the inner world.
'Spirus, heal Twilight's injuries,'
'Volcanis, Bane and Cerauno, come out now,'
After sending twilight back into the inner world, he didn't waste any time before giving orders to his elemental spirits.
First, he ordered Spirus to heal the twilight's injuries because she was capable of healing them.
Next, he summoned three of his elemental spirits because they were the most powerful elemental spirits in his arsenal.
"Greetings, summoning master,"
As soon as they were summoned out of the inner world, all three elemental spirits greeted Ajax.
"Be ready. We are under attack,"
Ajax nodded his head at their greetings and asked them to be on their guard.
"Yes, summoning master,"
When he saw their actions, Ajax bitterly shook his head and at the same time, he felt warm inside his heart.
'Huh?'
All of a sudden, Ajax felt that his surroundings became silent and there was no noise of any kind of spirit beasts making Ajax raise his brows.
'Clap clap'
Soon, Ajax and his elemental spirits heard clapping sounds coming from the direction a small bomb was thrown at them.
That's right! The thing that touched the left wind of Twilight and made them fall to the ground was none other than the small black-coloured orb and Ajax figured it out as some kind of bomb.
"Whoever you are, come out and show yourself,"
Ajax looked in the direction of the clapping sounds and seriously shouted.
"Don't be angry, human. I am very much eager to show you my new form,"
In the direction, a demon slowly walked towards him with a small smile on his ferocious face while saying that to Ajax.
The demon had a muscular build with 2 meters height. Two of his horns were pointing downwards. What was more striking out in him was the patches of black colour on his body.
"Huh? Do I know you?"
After observing the demon for a moment, Ajax asked the demon because the demon's earlier words indicated that they had met before.
Moreover, Ajax also felt he had met him somewhere; however, he could not remember where he had seen him. So, he simply asked the demon.
'He is strong. Stronger than the main demon general I had fought before entering the dimensional crevice,'
At the same time, he was on his guard because he felt some bad premonition inside his heart as he compared the demon in front of him with the main demon general he had fought earlier.
"You forgot me already?" The demon in front of him stopped in his tracks as scoffed at Ajax before saying, "Even if you forgot me, I can't forget you after torturing me with those nightmares."
"You..you are the main demon general from the earlier?"
All of a sudden, Ajax remembered where he had heard that voice and became shocked because he thought he was already dead.
Among all the demon generals he had killed only the main demon general suffered the most pain from the 'Absolute darkness' skill.
So, he was able to quickly catch onto his identity because of his hatred in the demon general's voice.
'That's right! I didn't get any system notification informing me that I killed the main demon general,' After thinking for a moment, Ajax realized that he didn't receive any notification.
The reason he forgot about was that he was in a hurry to escape from the demon king Garreth.
"That's right! I am him; however, at the same time, I am not him," The demon in front of Ajax nodded his head as he replied with a complicated sentence.
"I think, I tortured you very badly that you have gone mad," Ajax mocked the demon in front of him without any fear.
Ajax felt that since he had already won the fight with the main demon general earlier, he thought he could win once again.
"You can think, whatever you want to...Haha,"
To Ajax's surprise, the transformed main demon general started laughing like a maniac and continued, "The previous me is dead and this is my new life that is granted by my master, the demon king Garreth."
After using the scroll from the demon king Gareth, the main demon general became even more loyal than before and in his eyes, the demon king Garreth was the only one worthy enough to get his services.
"What a pity, I should have killed you without torturing much earlier; however, don't worry, I will kill you now and relieve you from the pain," Ajax continued to mock the demon general.
"Stop mocking me, human,"
All of a sudden, the demon in front of Ajax became angry for keep on bringing the torture subject over and over again and shouted at Ajax to stop mocking him.
"I, Delgoth, the name bestowed upon by the demon king Garreth swears on the demon god that I will kill this human brat at any cost," the demon swore while looking at Ajax before rushing towards him.
